[Siren Publishing: The Lynn Hagen ManLove Collection: Erotic Alternative Fantasy Romance, M/M, demons, HEA]
Kendrick Walsh is smitten with Einarr the moment he lays eyes on the demon. They spend weeks getting to know one another. And then trouble strikes and Einarr tries to push Kendrick away, but Kendrick isn’t a man to give up so easily.
Einarr grew up in the worst city the demon realm has to offer. Abandoned by his parents, Einarr is raised by his sadistic uncle. He knows nothing of love and can't understand why Kendrick refuses to walk away.
As Einarr desperately tries to shield Kendrick from his violent and chaotic life, he finds himself falling for the human in ways he never dreamed possible. Unfortunately, Einarr's past refuses to release its nightmarish grip. Einarr must go through hell in order to find heaven. But will Kendrick still look at him the same when Einarr has to kill in order to save the one man who just might show him what love truly means?
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
I'm confused. In previous books there are no cars because Panahasi doesn't want them there. Now there are cars? Then, Kendrick said he lived a fast and free lifestyle before Dylan and Omar with parties, men, etc. Now he can count the people he's been with on one hand? That doesn't scream "men" to me. This one ended too soon.
La historia de Einarr me pareció patética y repetitiva. Las dos estrellas son por las cosas que le pasaron a Omar y tambien Panahasi y Lucinda con Caspian.
Can't wait for the next book. Hope it's not another twinky mate though!
But am I seriously the only one who's desperate for Jaden to have a story?! And for his mate to turn out to be just as broody and hot headed and he is. And maybe, just maybe, he's not a school-like, small, annoyong twink but a "manly" mate like George, Lewis, Seth or Mark from the other books.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire
Okay, I was a little bit confused at first, due to the fact that Einarr's story follows a book from, Brac Village, that I haven't read yet, although I definitely plan on doing just that. =) I just loved Kendrick and his fun loving nature, not to mention a heart of gold. Poor Einarr felt that he was undeserving of Kendrick because of his horrible past experiences. As usual this was excellently written, with such dynamic characters, and an adorable little boy named, Omar. I love how this author allows for a few precious moments in between the diabolical threats that come their way. The ending was sweet and just melted my heart. So now I'm on to the next book. I really enjoyed this story. Oh, and I truly hope that Lynn Hagen continues with this series since I really want to see Deandre's story along with a few of the other demons. =)
Suicide (unless as a reaction to terminal illness) is an act of desperation as a result of mental illness. It's not a selfish act anymore than dying from a stroke is. The person is not capable of rational thought at the time of death.
I love that when someone said, "I don't know nothing about no kidnapping," the guy responded, ""Do you always talk in double negatives?"
Why doesn't he just use the shadows to escape? Why does he have to run?
How do you fall backward and land on one knee?
Why does Kendrick only have to call a demon's band to get him to find but when he shouts for Einarr, Einarr doesn't hear?

Summary: The struggle between good and evil is never easy, but when it exists within someone like Einarr it is very difficult to overcome. He grew up in the demon realm with his evil uncle who through physical and mental abuse forced him to do terrible things. It wasn't until he was rescued and became a Demon Warrior that he learned there was a different way to live. Einarr fought to keep his feelings hidden form his friend Kendrick because he didn't want to endanger Kendrick. Kendrick wanted to take their friendship to the next level, but thought that Einarr didn't feel the same way. Danger is never far away when the Demon Warriors are around and Kendrick was thrust into the conflict in spite of Einarr's hope to keep him safe. Will their growing feelings stand the conflicts ahead? This amazing story didn't let up until the very end. Add Kendrick's nephews to the mix and you have a story filled with suspense, family and love. What more could you want?
Lynn Hagen has done it again with another great add to the series. Kendrick is taking care of his nephews Dylan and Omar. They are important and must be keep safe. When Kenrick meets Einarr he feels attraction to him and will not let him push him away. Einarr knows that Kenrick is his mate, he just does not feel that he deserve him. When his Uncle comes back into the picture and threatens everything that he love, what will he do? This is a must read book and they series, will not disappointed you at all. How would you describe the plot of this book? Some twist Which of these words best describes the mood? suspenful How would you describe the pace? steady How would you describe the characters? developed * I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review *
Such a heart string tugging, horrific childhood, found love, kick ass, making of a family, story! I adore this story so much . Kendrick is such an amazing guy and his love for Einarr was so wonderful to watch as it developed from friendship. Einarr is such an awesome man despite his upbringing. When he falls for Kendrick quickly because how could he not? It is wonderful to read. Owen is a great kid who I hope gets his own story and kicks some bad guy butt! As usual, I so enjoy reading about characters from previous books. So awesome to see their names again and to be reminded of why I fell in love with them in their own books.

Picky picky picky... BUT even after several books its a GOOD thing to get who's who correct. There's one section where Paine is kahl's 'parent'... did we forget UNCLE? That is the biggest mistake that stands out at me but there are few small editing ones too.
For the story, I found it to be fairly fast passed and entertaining. I read the order slightly out of whack since I've already read about Dasani but all is good. Never did find out how some of the peons are using Demon Warrior powers to get around. That I would like to know.
This book had a few inconsistencies from the previous books in the series. For example, in the last book Kendrick was portrayed as this absent minded man who would often forget his nephews existed when he was working. Now in this book he is this former lot haricot hat used to live a wild life. In the last book it talked about how he never second guessed raising his nephews, while in this book he says he asked the lawyer not to leave them with him. I'm a detail oriented person and in a series these types of issues bother my enjoyment.
Kendrick I liked – even though he is not quite as awesome as in the previous book and not much is made of his very special talent here. Einarr, on the other hand, seems to go out of his way to make things complicated; seems kind of self-absorbed and unreasonable to me. Meh.
On the whole it’s a very typical book for this sub-series. Not the best, but not truly bad either. Perhaps what sticks with me most is simply the depressing atmosphere of the demon realm. No hope, huh?
I just love this series so far. Einarr has feelings for Kendrick and he has feelings for Einarr. Kendrick and his young nephew Omar are divining rods for premenstrual beings. These two are human. These two went through so many problems while their feelings for each other got stronger. They mated and are together now. I can not wait for the next book in this series. Erin
It was ok. There were a few inconsistencies, but I've come to expect them. I like seeing more books about the demon warriors (Still waiting for Jaden!).
What I REALLY want to know is what the heck ever happened to Deandre?!!?!?! The last time they went to Zakerym there was some cliffhanger about him and a demon named Clay. (Yeah, I keep track of these things)
Rating: 3 stars The strength of this story lies with Kendrick and his family. I really loved him and his little nephew but didn’t really connect with Einarr. I am starting to dislike the trope that the MC must treat his mate badly in order to drive a wedge between them. All in the name of not being good enough for his mate. The trope is getting old and Lynn Hagen uses it a lot.
This book started of slow and kept a nice even pace. While there were not any real surprises this book, if you are a fan of Lynn Haven't Brac Pac and the spin offs Brac Village, Zues'es Pack, Christen's Coven and the Demon Warriors you'll love this book.
This addition was good as well...I really liked Kendrick and Enarr .... And of course Omar as well...I'm glad the plot is moving along nicely...not to much discovered in this book..no bombshells... But I can feel the end is near....
