I like the demon series very much. Better than some of her other works even though it all plays in the same universe. I don't know why but the characters feel more 3 dimensional as e.g. those of some of the Willow Point series.

I am so glad Cadeym finally got his HEA. Hadley is his perfect balance and exactly what his battered soul needs. Nobody else would have been innocent, sweet or patience and yes also naive enough to even get close enough to Cadeym to be able to mend his broken pieces. Reading this book makes me want to reread Hondos story.

Save the best for last! Cadeym and Hadley are my favorite characters and their story is what I liked the most.

Cadeym is broken after being captured and tortured by hellhounds. Healing his scars both emotionally and physically are hard. Hadley is so selfless, very caring young man with heart of gold. With him by Cadeym's side, slowly Cadeym started to heal. Hadley is what Cadeym really need, someone who can make him whole and enjoy ordinary life together in Brac Village.

This book was simply awesome. I loved both Cadeym and Hadley. Their story was filled with lots of danger and action (plus a wonderful, shy dog), but I especially enjoyed the humor and love that had grown between them. Hadley was brave and through his trust and love for Cadeym, he had helped Cadeym find peace for his tortured soul. I loved it! Excellent! :D

Mi pobre Cadeym tuvo un final feliz.
Definitivamente esta historia daba para más. Que profundizaran en los temores de Cadeym y una lenta pero progresiva lucha para sanar habría sido interesante.

Además, las luchas contra Surkath y el padre de Cadeym fueron tan efímeras que, como siempre, ni siquiera puedes disfrutarlas. Hacerlas más extensas hubiese sido lo mejor. Dicho sea de paso, un poco de historia sobre la madre de Cadeym también me habría gustado.

¿Y qué pasa con la asimilación de Josh respecto al descubrimiento de otros seres? Nunca atravesamos esa situación. Pero bueno, las historias de Lynn no son tan largas aún cuando tiene el potencial para ello.

¿Me pregunto si sabremos de Anubis algún día?

Broken crayons still color

I enjoyed the last Demon warrior's story. I need to get a fire extinguisher now. Big things come in little packages and the same is true with his mate. It takes courage to hope and to believe in good things.
