Till the Sun Dies was just a breath of fresh air.

“I will love you till the sun dies”, Holland Murmured
In his eyes, I somehow found everything I’d ever wanted. “And then I’ll love you in the dark,” I said

My heart swooned with this quote and there is MANY MANY more in this novel (even spicy ones 😘)!

This book had everything I needed and more, it was cozy and warm but also spicy and thrilling. I could not put it down and read it all in one sitting! If you like Sad Girl x sunshine/cinnamon roll boy, this is for you!
Addie was struggling so much when she left and ran to Paris to find herself. Soon after she arrives she finds herself a best friend in willa, who is in not exactly the same predicament but pretty close, and they relate so much to each other and support and comfort each other throughout the whole book

(also like to add I pray we get another book with a hot spicy lover for willa, she deserves it😂)

Then she meets Holland, who very quickly becomes her main reason for happiness, they meet and he is the perfect gentlemen, although very mysterious, and they get to know each other. They end up on a rollercoaster couple of week which include a lot of discovery on Addie’s part, and she has to grapple with the truth and the impossible fact they vampires exist. After going through so much together in a short time, addie realized she is home with Holland. In the end they find so much love for each other and I’m so excited to hopefully see where life leads then next (fingers crossed for another book)

I would like to add I throughly enjoyed the theme of the sun and light and dark and the different shades of day and night and all it’s variety and the meaning it gave to the book as a whole. I LOVE ADDIE AND HOLLAND AND I HOPE WE GET TO SEE MORE OF THEM! ❣️

I received this book as an Arc and cannot wait to read more from H.M Darling!

I thought it was just a regular romance of healing, but boy was I wrong. I LOVED THE TWIST, I enjoy paranormal romances so it was an unexpected surprise to me. Thierry was pretty annoying and how vague he was with his questions and answers, lame. But I really liked Willa and how she became a good friend, she was pretty selfish and impulsive but I get it, she was running from things and had lots to learn and discover. I adore Holland, and how he loves and cares for Addie so cute. I enjoyed Addies growth and her discovery of herself. I didn’t like how fast the time line was, like only two weeks and you’re in love with this man, but a lot happened within that time frame so it’s okay. I do wish there was more conclusion with her family I felt there was a lot going on there but no solid conclusion with it. Overall, it was a good read and I throughly enjoyed it!

I was thrilled to receive this book as an ARC for my honest review. I absolutely loved the Heir of Ashes duology and was pumped to pick up another vampy romance by HM Darling.

I absolutely loved the character design for the MC. Adalyn “Addie” is a bisexual, neurodivergent, and curvy MC crafted so honestly and beautifully. Her character arc is a relatable story of self-discovery, self-forgiveness, healing from trauma, and finding oneself alongside her found family. You’ll want to follow her to the end. Addie was left at the altar by her girlfriend of 5 years and decided she needs to escape her hometown of Phoenix or drown in her misery. Impulsively but passionately, she decided to go to Paris on her honeymoon ~alone~ where she meets endearing, spunky, Texan Willa who is a breath of absolute sunshine.

During her time in Paris she meets absolutely gold-retriever, cinnamon-roll boy Holland who has a shady past and *spoiler* is a vampire. Over time she learned to allow herself to love again and most importantly to be loved again.

Adalyn and Holland’s story brought the vibes of a comfy romance into a high-stakes plot and it was a thrill to read.

I enjoyed this novel, but had some problems with the delivery that prevents me from rating it higher.
At times the MC’s motivation is very fickle. She can be weary of a character who she believes is toxic for her best-friend and a threat to their existence, but in the next chapter, let him into her best friends’ hotel room like nothing happened in the previous chapters. Don’t get me wrong, most of the character motivations is expertly crafted, but there were certain moments that I felt needed more clarification on *why* she did certain things.

Similarly, there were moments that when back and forth with the other characters. Holland repeatedly said she had *nothing* to worry about. That he would never hurt her and only the new vampires were dangerous and impulsive. But that contrasted several moments of •run or I will unalive you• I wish his character had more consistency.

Willa basically send her family running in terror but then claims to be able to pull strings through them to get Addie a visa.

On top of everything, I wish there was more opportunity for world-building, for background on the antagonist so he would be more developed, for background on Holland. It would have added to the story to go into how a dangerous vampire with a past of violence became such a cinnamon roll later. There were people around when vampires killed but Addie didn’t know vampire’s existed until going to Paris.

Overall, I did enjoy this story. It appears that there will be sequels where some of these questions can be answered in the future.
For the most part TTSD was enjoyable, a quick read with *smut* that did not take away from the storyline but enhanced the character journey. It had so many beautiful lines and imagery, and sweet moments.
I’m looking forward to more stories by the talented HM Darling.

Spicy vampire romance. I love this authors style!

Adalyn runs away to Paris in hopes of finding herself. There a mysterious man asks her to dance and then disappears. Holland continues to find Adalyn and breathes life back into Adalyn’s world. Of course not without trials along the way.

***Spoiler-Free ARC Review***

One of the coziest reads of the year. Adalyn is left at the altar and decides to travel to Paris for a much-needed holiday. While there, she meets a fun new best friend and crosses paths with Holland. Holland is a much needed light in Adalyn’s life and their romance is adorable. There is a perfect blend of drama and romance as Adalyn finds her place in this world. It was a quick read that captivates you from the get go. I 100% recommend this book and can’t wait to see what is next for Adalyn and Holland.

Oh my goodness. I was so excited that I was able to get an ARC of this book and I was not disappointed. As soon as I was able to download the book I was sucked in and couldn’t put it down. After reading the synopsis of this book I knew I wanted to be able to read it. I was not disappointed.

Adalyn and Hollands romance is sweet and spicy. What drew me even more into this book was that Even though Adalyn was going through her grief of being left at the alter she was pulling herself out of her slump and wants to do something for herself. So she confirms all of her reservations and hops on the plane to Paris. One day ill get to go to Pairs but for now their story is what I love. Venturing out by herself she meets Holland, “All these beautiful things, and somehow you still look sad.” The fact that a stranger notices that she is sad makes her think that she is in Paris it’s time to leave everything behind and start living for myself. Holland without a care in the world pulls Addie into a dance just to see her smile. Swoon man because I would love that.

This book becomes one with laughs with her new found friend in Willa and becomes a mystery with a dead girl in the park, a man they see in London holding up a girl while buried in her throat to seeing her friend with her lover in a dark hall way in the same position but in the throes of passion. Adalyn could not process what she was seeing and runs. Adalyn who is trying to stand her ground and not avoid confrontations couldn’t take it anymore where she finds herself at the Seine. All things change here when she finds out that Holland is a Vampire!!! A freakin Vampire!!! Wow oh wow. Adalyn only believes in what she can see and man oh man is this something she cannot unsee.

I love how Holland is so respectful of Adalyn and makes sure that she is comfortable in everything they do. Making sure that she is safe above all even from him because Vampires are not safe around humans with how strong they are and even the most controlled over themselves they can be the smell of blood will always overpower them.

The pacing of this book kept me hooked the whole time I was reading it and I loved every second of it. Hollands and Adalyn’s story kept me glued to my kindle that when the story came to an end I had a smile on my face while also being sad that it was over with. To end the book with “I will love you till the sun dies” said Holland, “And then I’ll love you in the dark” Adalyn said; after everything she has felt with in the beginning to everything in between she has found love that she couldn’t live without. These quotes between her and Holland is one that made me love this book even more because who doesn’t want a love like that, a love that would last eternity.

"Yes?"
"Give me a reason to stay."

What’s sweeter than finding love in Paris? Holland. Definitely Holland. I think he gave me a few cavities and a newfound love for chocolate. HM Darling has written a sweet tale about finding yourself after a relationship, accepting new love, living and healing in a new environment. With spice! Lots of spice. After the first half of the book it’s spice almost every chapter. Wink wink.

For anyone that has had a rough breakup that made you feel empty and lost, you may relate to Adalyn a lot. Her journey is one many can relate to. Finding a friend like Willa would be a dream come true. And a love like Holland’s is disgustingly sweet with a dash of morally grey and one we all hope for. Prepare for the feels of the journey to finding yourself and accepting happiness. Along with adventure and facing your fears.

Spice level (1-5): 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Kink level (1-3): ⛓️ Hand necklace, public, biting

After being left at the altar, Adalyn goes to Paris for her honeymoon, alone. Internally lost and confused, Adalyn doesn’t know what she is doing or what she should do. By chance, she meets Willa, a carefree social butterfly. The two quickly become friends and begin exploring Paris together. While exploring alone, Adalyn meets Holland, a sweet yet mysterious man. Holland seems to keep running into Adalyn. In a city of millions, how is it possible to continuously bump into the same individual? Something doesn’t seem right. It seems shadows linger in the City of Light. And why is Willa’s beau so afraid of Holland?

I’d recommend Till the Sun Dies to fans of a cinnamon roll MMC, with an amorous side. Holland seems like a well mannered sweet puppy, but he can also be quite insatiable. If you don’t like spice, this romance may not be for you. There is lots of it. I can see Holland becoming many’s book boyfriend.

Warning: Reading this book may make you want to go to Paris. May make you want to be stalked by a hot vampire. May make you crave a pain de chocolate. May make you want to dance in public. May make you want to go to a different country and make a new friend. May make you think 200 is the new 20. May make you wander around Paris like a tourist. May make you drink a lot more champagne. May make you want someone to “love you till the sun dies, and then love you in the dark.” Read responsibly.

*I received an Advance Reader Copy for free and I’m leaving an honest review of my own volition. All thoughts are my own.*

Oh Honey... sit down... this is going to be long. Why? Because I'm in the mood.

I don't think the author had a clear intention for this book, as this is just a amalgamation of random things happening. There's not a definite plot, the characters are bland and forgetable, not to say completely contraditory. Adalyn was not in love with her ex-fiancé for quite some thime but she was oh so sad she was left at the altar by her (more like she was mad she got stood up and embarrassed by it).

Holland was a cutesy, very demure vampire, until he wasn't. He said to her multiple times she was safe with him, she didn't need to be scared but one sniff of blood and told her to run. What?

The entire Willa subplot made absolutely zero sense. Why would the reader care about what happened to a side character that was virtually dumb and honestly a very bad friend? She knew Adalyn was alone in Paris, but invited her for a night out with her boy toy and ended up leaving her alone on a club, while she got down and dirty with said toy? Having understood that Adalyn was neurodivergent and had trouble with loud spaces? And with vampires lying around?
Let's be honest, Willa never really gave two shits about Adalyn. She just wanted another girl with her to see Paris. Their relationship was quite superficial and very one sided. Adalyn said she would leave Paris with Willa, but if the roles were reversed, Willa would just disappear with Thierry, who was honestly a very poorly constructed vampire. They honestly deserved each other, just two very stupid and insipid people.

This book focused way too much on Willa when Adalyn and Holland were the main characters. We know basically nothing of the vampire world. Why and how they exist. They just exist, period.
While we know the type of jewelry Willa uses everyday and how she dresses, we know virtually nothing of Holland, except he had parents and is almost 200 years old. Being that he's the MMC here, we don't really know him. He's just a dude, who happpens to be a vampire and lives in Paris.

The plot was very careless with keeping things believable. Vampires kill in the middle of the street and nothing happens? In Paris, one of the most heavily populated cities in Europe? Nobody sees anything?

This book had quite a lot of potential, but failed miserably in almost every aspect.

Till the Sun Dies is a semi cozy, semi spicy Vampire Romance. Did I find this to be an enjoyable read, Yes. Did I absolutely love it, no. I felt the story was a little slow in the beginning, slow enough that I almost did not finish the book. I had just enough questions about what was going on to keep me reading, and about halfway through the book I felt the plot picked up and the excitement began. This is when I started enjoying the story. One of the things I did appreciate about Till the Sun Dies is the humanization of the Vampires by taking away most of the stereotypical ideas of the undead. This made it much easier for me to connect with the Vampire characters in the book, since I definitely struggled with connecting with the human characters. I found Adelyn, the main female human character to be whiny and unlikable. All the humans and vampires are lacking character depth and development, but Adelyn was the worst. I had hoped by the end of the book she would have progressed further in her self journey than she did.

With all that said, I still found this to be a good read, even entertaining once the plot picked up at the halfway point.

***Spoiler-Free ARC Review***

I know that every time I read something by H.M. Darling, I say that it’s my new favorite - but this time I’m being completely serious! This is now one of my top favorite books I’ve ever read. Easy 5 star review. It’s such a cozy read and the author wasn’t kidding when she described it as a vampire romance that feels like a Taylor Swift song.

I was swooning the whole time at Holland, and I LOVE that Adalyn is a bisexual, neurodivergent FMC. From their first interaction, I was completely captivated. Their whole story felt very dreamy and romantic. I’m typically a fan of dark romance, but after reading this, maybe I’m more of a fluffy romance girlie!

Let me just say, the spicy scenes were also incredible! With how cute and sweet their interactions were, I was not expecting it to get as steamy as it did! Their chemistry just feels so natural and these scenes are so well written.

Overall, I ADORE this book and would 1000% recommend it to anyone! Thank you H.M. Darling for being the amazing author and person that you are💜

Addie, after being left at the altar, runs away to Paris, because that's what she does best. Addie is determined to try and start fresh in Paris, far away from her friends, family and the woman that left her. She quickly makes friends with Willa, another American, who like her escaped from her life back in the States. They decide to be travel buddies and explore Paris together.

On a solo outing Addie meets Holland, who brings her back to life. But Holland is more than she bargained for and soon she's part of a world she didn't believe existed.

What follows is a cozy, romantic (but oh la la spicy) story of a developing love between a human and a vampire.

Will Addie finally stop running or will this new world turn out to be too dangerous for her to be in?

Impossible to put down and a very enjoyable but cozy read.

Yk what.... I actually REALLY enjoyed this????
- neurodivergent and bisexual FMC??? CHECK
- brooding, mysterious, medio intenso love interest? CHECK
- beautiful time and space setting? TRIPLE CHECK!!!

She was free to leave whenever she wanted😭😭😭THATS LOVE BABYYYY

This story follow Adalyn and Holland.

Adalyn runs to her dream city Paris, France to escape her life, Fiancé and parents. Once she arrives she meets and the most handsome stranger she has ever seen and throws caution to the wind and Dances with him. After the dance he disappears. Until she runs into him again.

Holland the handsome stranger was just happy to make the sad girl smiled when he danced with her. But then he felt other things too. But what is he to do he has a secret he's a Vampire will she accept him?

I absolutely adore Adalyn and Holland's story. He may be a Vampire but he's like a big teddy bear when it comes to Adalyn. I was on the Beta team for this book and I devoured it.

THIS BOOK.

Addie is left at the altar, and after that, she decides to go alone to Paris on what should’ve been her honeymoon. There, she meets Willa, a woman who is also running from her life, and Holland, a mysterious man.

What she doesn’t know, is that Holland is a vampire.

I loved this book SO MUCH. Willa, Holland and Addie are incredibly relatable, and I swooned multiple times over Holland.

This one is definitely going in my list of all time favorite vampire books, right next to Twilight.

If you liked Interview With The Vampire or Vampire Diaries, you’ll DEFINITELY love this.

This book for fresh. Not as spicy as I thpught would be, but still it's lovely. I pre-ordered, it sat on my shelf in the past few weeks. A soon as I wanted to read a stand alone book, I chose this one, and it was the best decision.
It's melted my heart. I read it in one sit, start yesterday and finished yesterday as well. It's the next morning and I'm still smiling.
If you want a really spicy story choose another one, but if you want a good story with lovely character, a bit action, chose this. I think you won't regret it.
And, it's in Paris. Everybody need a little pinky, girlie theme with handsome man (and with s..x as weel of course).

I really wanted to like this book more than I did. However, if you like paranormal romances with a good bit of spicy scenes, then you will really enjoy this book.

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Tropes: Vampires, Damsel in Distress, A Man of Mystery, Going on Honeymoon Alone

Things I liked: There was some really good representation for those who suffer from hypersensitivity. Which I found really enlightening, the author really captures how intense Adalyn feels throughout the book.

Things I disliked: I really feel the book would have benefited from being much longer. I wanted to know more about Willa, Adalyn and Holland we basically just meet them then they get put into dangerous situations which at this point I don't know them well enough to be invested in their fates.

Audiobook or Physical? I have the physical book, which I actually got signed by the author. I think an audiobook would be really good.

Extras: Adalyn's POV

I needed this book!

This is the kind of vampire romance I yearn for. I love H.M. Darling so I knew I would most likely like this one..Well I loved it and it had everything in it that makes a dark vampire book interesting. A bit if intrigue with a big of gore and a lot of longing for each other then the hot and steamy love scenes that make me wish I had a Holland in my life. Adelyn is amazing and someone who I would want to have as a friend and then there's her new bestie and enough twists and turns that keep the pages turning. This author remains one if my favorite! Read this book you'll love it! 😈💓😈

So …I haven’t read a vampire romance in psh what? Like 20 some years probably? I have got to say…I couldn’t put this down. I was doing the dishes and making dinner all while holding my phone. Hahaha this had all the feelings the entire way through. The sadness u could feel emanating from the pages. The hope and PASSION…oh my word🤯🥵 since it seemed to kind of wrap up at the end I’m not quite sure where the next book of this series is going to go but let me tell you…I was so fortunate to get chosen as an ARC for this story and so hopeful and can’t wait for the next. Bring it on “Darling”!!!!

When I first received this Arc I was nervous to read it. I don’t normally read books with vampires, but OH MY GOSH I am glad I read this book!

We start off with Addie and her fleeing to Paris after being left at the alter, she quickly befriends Willa, who also fled to Paris to escape her world, and soon the wild story unfolds. From the “pretty fence boy” to the Addie and Willa finding themselves.

We get to meet Holland, and my oh my does to story shift! I didn’t want to put the book down! In Addie’s words “My nightmare. My vampire. My Holland” ❤️❤️

Let me start off by saying who doesn’t love a good vampire romance book!
I really enjoy this book. It had a slow start to it, I really started to get hooked around chapter 8. I enjoy how this book kept me on my toes and I need to finish it asap. I does have a sort of slow burn, things get spicy 😉 around the 50% mark.

I also would have loved to know more of Holland’s back story, before he meet Addie.

I received this book as an ARC. I’m so excited to read more of H.D. Darling Soon ☺️

I loved this book. It was so beautiful and easy to read! I love how the MC is so relatable with her heartbreak and the way she doesn’t pretend that it’s not broken, she just keeps trying to live.
Willa is the best friend I want to be and want have. I hope we get another book solely about her, she deserves it.
And Holland. Sweet sweet Holland! I need more of him. More of everything about him.

The twist at the end got me messed up! I don’t how or why I didn’t see it coming, I think I was just caught up with all the sex that was happening 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️

As Adalyn starts to learn about the vampire world, she faces dangers and chaos she has a hard time reconciling with the gentle and caring man she’s starting to fall in love with.

Adalyn is trying to find herself in this book after spending her whole life making others happy. So when she flies to Paris and meets Holland, things start looking up for her.
I enjoyed reading her go through the emotional drama and starting to enjoy life a little.
There's a good amount of 🌶️ spice, so that's a plus.
The ending just makes me want to read the second book 👏.
