Welcome to Stepford, a place unlike any other on Earth where absolute domination over women is the foundation upon which this town was built. Women are a vital ingredient to the success of Stepford as both a community and as a vision of Utopia. Here you will find women installed in a variety of devices designed to maintain this bizarre village. Learn the laws, read the paper, visit the shops, but don't let anyone know where you've been. Secrecy ensures the township's ability to maintain their highly specialised way of life.
bah. I keep trying Benson books. Mostly because there's this book I really loved read long ago put out by House of Gord (the same publisher as here, ie, HG Publications). Benson had nothing to do with the book, but he seems to be the main illustrator for HG Publications. So, I keep trying to read things he has illustrated (and this time wrote).
Some of the books have ideas that might be interesting. Maybe. Vaguely. Then Benson goes to the far extreme. Really? Rubberized nipples? Every single bloody picture he draws? Rubberized nipples? And, shesh, breasts the size of ... well, in some cases, breasts that appear larger than the rest of the woman. Also seems obsessed with shaving the women he degrades and humiliates. Shaved, surgically altered to have massive breasts, placed in extreme and uncomfortable poses, piercings, rubberization, etc. Oh, and occasional amputation of limbs. As I said, extreme. Blew far far past anything I would care about.
So, the story here is a bondage version of the Stepford Wives. Surgically altered women punished for any minor misdeed. Filled with a heavy layer of "men are great, women are dumb beasts" vibe.
If possible I'd have given this zero stars. But here zero just means unrated/no rating. It's based on Stepford Wives so there isn't even a layer of originality to the plot, and I already noted that his artwork is repetitive. Nothing new here.
