I've always been a writer, but I guess I've just recently become an author. The difference? Too minuscule to tell. The point is, I enjoy creating characters, situations, and penning dialogue. I have a strong play-writing background, so my work features a lot of show and not too much tell. Also, I'm addicted to Sex and the City, so if I sound like Carrie's voice in parts... just roll with it. I couldn't help but wonder...

NO. Effin' NO! I can't handle this right now. It's 4:30 in the damn morning, I have a killer headache from ugly crying two hours ago and I have to be up in 5 hours so I can shower and not smell like a hobo cruising down Park Avenue at work tomorrow.

I hate you Jonothan Wold for putting me through this emotional tail spin. Thank god Cooper didn't catch anything or I might just have lost my wig.

I'm not 18 like Cooper, I can't just stay up all night and be ready and raring to go in the morning. What is wrong with you authors, getting me so damn engaged in these characters and not furnishing me with endless supplies of B12 shots and Five Hour Energy's.

I really wish Goodreads allowed for partial points. I rate this a solid 4.5 stars (borderline 5), only because Cooper didn't end up with the person I wanted him to.

I absolutely ADORED The List! The plot is very believable with the exception of one key factor: Where the hell is this college full of gay men and who is going to pay off my student loans so I can enroll there? The emotional development is all characters was superb, you really feel like you're Cooper coming into your own and discovering who you are. You're crying when he's crying, laughing when he's laughing and cumming when... Okay well maybe not... Okay, shut up we're done talking about this...

All-in-all this was a great read and hopefully the sequel will live up to the expectations I've put on it.

Well, what a way to start of college! Through all the drunken parties, the slutty debauchery, the wonders of first love found, the heartbreak when that same love is lost, the drama that follows and the ever growing list, we follow 18 year old Cooper on the road self discovery, making many a dumb-ass decision and doing some growing up along the way. There is still plenty of more maturing to do obviously, but I'm hopeful...maybe...

Both the hottest and best m/m fiction i've read so far, with not-over-the-top but still freaking hot sex scenes and the hero's maturity development along the story. And it's free too. O can't say that i didn't grow envious of cooper while reading this for he was like a walking pheromones and he managed to hook-up with 20 plus hot guys in just his first year in college. definitely something i wish i had. the university stuff confused me at times as US college life is quite different from where i studied. :) Nevertheless, I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this to any M/M lovers out (or not out) there! :)

An excellent story- wonderful premise, excellent characters (Spencer's a personal favourite, along with Cooper, obviously.) The sex is hot, the story compelling, the sad moments truly moving, and the pacing is excellent. It's a great journey to see Cooper go from a reluctant experimenter, to equal-parts eager puppy love and voracious experimentation, to a totally unexpected true love that completely floored me.

A funny, sexy, and interesting look into a young guy's freshman year. As Cooper comes-of-age, he learns a lot about himself and love, through a plethora of experiences. Watch him go from being a horned up frosh to a responsible and caring man.

Read up to Chapter 7. A guilty pleasure read more than anything, but just couldn't get into the story premise and it continuously got more and more awkward to read.

After reading "The list" I wanted more from this author and read the sequel "Funny thing is" over at
gayauthors.org. Jonothan writes his stories as well as any author on Goodreads and really should publish his books.
