This is a revised and updated edition of one of the author's New Testament for Everyone series. They are great for individual study or for use in a group study. Designed for the general reader, or for group studies, Wright provides his own translation of the original Greek text of each letter, along with commentary concerning historical detail, the situation of the early church, what Paul was saying in light of the Jewish and Greco-Roman backgrounds, and how we should understand and apply it for ourselves today. He provides a glossary at the end, and this 20th anniversary edition includes a Study/Reflection Guide written by Michael Kirkindoll. Highly recommended for bible study groups.
