What a cool guide book--it's organized by neighborhood, so you can figure out what to see and do (and eat) in each spot in the city! It even has a pull-out map in the back. For a first-time visitor like me, it's perfect.

Small and compact and divided into sections by neighborhood, complete with a little map of each and a larger pull-out map of Manhattan and the subway lines.
