Reviews for other WCPNW

★★★★★ "What I really enjoyed about this book is how all the stories felt as if they were another continuation of the previous story. Part of but separate. Truly enjoyable. Looking forward to ready the next book."

★★★★★ "Old fashioned spooky fun! Recommend especially for young adults."

★★★★★ "I enjoyed the variety of stories, and that none were hideously gory. Don't let the "about the town" intro dissuade you! I hadn't expected humor or a sexy edge, which some of them had, so that was fun, too."

This is a delightful collection of short stories and poetry by some of the best writers of the Pacific Northwest guild. For an added delight, each entry is followed by a personal recipe submitted by the author. Some relate to their submission, while others are just their favorite family recipes. Whether you like cookbooks or anthologies (which I guess most cookbooks are anyway), you’re going to love this book.

An interesting concept: a blend of short-stories and related recipes for those who like to read, write, and cook! Predictably, many of the offerings revolve around food, especially baked goods. Still, a very enjoyable anthology, with many captivating characters and plot twists. There are some real gems among the stories, and I continue to enjoy the tzatziki-dipped zucchini fritters with a scrumptious apple crisp for dessert.
