It has taken Savannah Shaw 17 years to reach the kingdom in the stars. But does Umbra want her there? Silver Valley is gone, and from its ashes, a rebellion stirs. Savannah Shaw is nothing but a product of people’s dreams, a hope to spark the flame. But her desire to win Umbra is the key to everything. The kingdom is all you could ever want, a world sprawling with beauty and life. In order to obtain her, Savannah must navigate death and sacrifice, love and betrayal, to win Umbra’s hand. Back home, Melanie Beckett tames the waters. Without an army, the Silver Kingdom is lost. Allies come to their aid, new love rekindles, and old hope dies. What do you have to lose, in order to win?
When the author said you guys are not ready for this, don’t take it lightly because I WAS SO NOT READY For THIS😭. Uh so I just finished silver kingdom and I honestly have no words, I am honestly speechless, undoubtedly without a single second thought the silver valley series has my heart and is my absolute favourite book series😍😭. As a full time reader (yes I treat it like it’s my job😂) this book had me hypnotised in the story from the prologue which don’t get me ranting on about the end of the prologue making my jaw drop😂 Reading both savannah’s and Melanie’s POV was enjoyable since I got to learn more about the characters in the story. As I was reading the last few lines I reached up to the acknowledgments and my jaw dropped realising that I have reached the end meaning I have to wait for book 3 while the actual release date hasn’t even come yet for this book, which I’m not complaining because it is 10000% worth the wait. Don’t get me started on the plot, the romance and the action because it is just “chefs kiss”. I am now DESPERATELY waiting for book 3 to carry on with this master piece😭. I’m screaming, crying and going nuts over this book, like you could say my expectations of this book being really high and Arabella just shot the F up that expectation chart wowww 😭 I’m gonna need a few days to process this, I’m trying to find a way to get every reader on this planet this book rn because it is out of this world good like way past umbra and beyond 😭😭🤍🪐🌎✨🌿🔪🌳🌌⚔️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✨ARC (late) BOOK REVIEW✨ Silver Kingdom (sequel to Silver Valley)...I finally got my hands on you😍 “𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘴, 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸.” This quote perfectly encompasses how I feel about this book. You beautifully dove even deeper into this mystical and complex world in the stars, and it felt like I was right there with the characters. This series continues to feel like home for me and it’s so easy to get lost in the so-intricately woven storyline that you forget you’re only reading. I really enjoyed getting both POVs: Melanie and Savannah. The juxtaposition of their personal battles and how they still manage to find each other was something I wasn’t expecting.
AND I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW THIS ENDED, YOU HAVE BROKEN MY HEART! You damn sure know how to write a good cliffhanger… Overall, I missed reading your stories and I’m so glad I can still be a part of it. Hope to see how your story ends because I, too, want to be “𝘢 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘴.”
I was so excited to dive into this book and it did not disappoint! The plot was sensational and driven, creating drama and tension that drove the whole story forwards. At points I wanted to cry and scream and at others I was laughing out loud so much my family became concerned for my wellbeing. I enjoyed Silver Kingdom more than I did Silver Valley, but I feel this has a lot to do with most of the characters already being established. In reading Silver Valley, and for parts of Silver Kingdom as well, I had somewhat of a hard time connecting to characters and found most of them unlikeable to some extent. There were other characters though that I absolutely loved and I will NOT forgive the author for what they do at the end of the book... Overall, a fantastic read that I thoroughly enjoyed from a talented author who somehow just keeps getting better.
I absolutely LOVED this book. I flew through Silver Valley to read this book and I loved that one as well. The worldbuilding of these books is incredible, I could easily visualize the settings the characters visited, ranging from the planets themselves to the buildings and the ships. The plot didn't feel rushed but still continued at a pace that definitely hooked me in. . Once again, I loved this book and I'm so excited for this to drop to the public and ultimately the final installment in the trilogy!
I just finished reading this book. I think a good book needs to suck you in early on so you will want to continue to read it… this book had me intrigued from the beginning.
I also love books that do read as the characters point of view . This allowed to me to feel like I was the characters.
The book has an incredible story, how the characters develop and how it complements the story is incredible. It also helps that it is very well written, without a doubt a book that can make you forget what is around you.
i could not put this book down, the writing style is amazing and all i want is more!!
this book is so so beautiful and everything is created in the most incredible way. i love every little detail and i cannot wait for the third one to come out!!
This is a story for anyone who likes post war, science fiction! Multiple perspectives and a well built world.. recommend it for the science fiction junkies out there
Loved the beginning and everything. Loved weird mouse dude. Loved JESSE! wanted to hurt someone I hated the ending and I wish I stopped reading the end.
** Thank you to the author for giving me an ARC of this novel!!
I enjoyed the first book, but this book was less enjoyable. This book definitely had a "middle book drag" feel. A lot of this book was planning and traveling and more planning and more traveling, and I got bored. There were also some spelling/verb tense errors I caught, but there aren't too many of them. I really appreciated the lack of cursing! This book is pretty clean, which is awesome. Sometimes I didn't understand why characters made the choices they did, but this book is for sure not bad. It just wasn't my favorite.
