Great! A lovely introduction to the decor of the shabby chic home. This palate includes pastels, soft linens, flowers, and beautiful mismatched china. It blends French, Caribbean, and rustic elements.

The author is a divorcée with two children, who after renting for nine years, made the leap and purchased a house. She wanted to keep the character of the house, but adjust it to her decor taste. She did a great job! The book has many good tips and charming photos. It has down to earth writing and includes inexpensive ways to shabby chic your own home. A great read!

🌷Book Quotes:

"All plates, cups, and saucers should be pieces you love to see. Mismatched is all right; ugly is not."

"Buy a house for what it is, so you can restore it, not remodel it."

"Be open to mixing old and new."
