Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.

With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.

Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.

The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

A mysterious bank robbery in which robbers kill their own. A Russian submarine. A Muslim polygamist. An abandoned Chinese ice breaker. What’s going on? Chase and the Team engage and gain a new team member. The action is breathtaking. The danger is palpable. This adventure in the cold will take all the skill Chase and his team can muster to survive. Twists and turns aplenty. Another great read from Cap Daniel’s fertile mind. Highly recommended. If you have not read all of Cap Daniel’s books, you really should.

You can’t Chase me away

Sadly, and I’ve pointed this out to him, Cap Daniels can not deliver books fast enough.

I feel that by less than coincidence, he thinks of me when he sits down with pen and pad.
“What will Scott want this time? I’ll start with a distinctly unique and challenging location, one that the boys haven’t operated in previously, develop a solid plot line but then abandon or twist it significantly so he doesn’t fall asleep because he is 3 steps ahead and guessing the end. Some perilous fights where the team can show its mettle, the pace fast but controlled. I’ll give him just enough detail to build the anticipation while not using a paragraph to describe the color of a dresser drawer handle. I’ve got to sprinkle in some gut wrenching family moments among the team. I’ll add some faith and philosophy from Singer, fun facts from Mongo and Skipper and just enough Clark humor to add needed levity.”
You know me so well, Cap! This one was flawless!

Better and Betted!

Being an engaging reader of Cap's stories I always have the highest expectations of the next one... THIS certainly didn't disappoint. Brilliant, enthralling storyline with compelling characters and action galore! I love the very interesting newest member of the Team, Kodiak, and look forward to his inclusion in future adventures. Once again Mr. Daniels, an absolute WINNER!

Amazing as always!

I love Cap Daniels novels and anxiously await each new story as it is published. The Artic Chase did not disappoint! He may claim the entire story is impossibly fictional, but it held my captive interest start to finish. Can't wait for the next one!!

phenomenal

Daniels is a rare breed. He can write a story with the main character core the same and even after 21 books still being such an awesome storyteller. Lots of action , Def lots of intrigue and twists and turns. But he turns all this into an explosive, can’t put it down novel. If you have read even one Chase novel you will love it.

A great adventure in a place I have lived

Chase and his merry band of patriots join the crew of the Lorrie Danielle and travel to a very inhospitable part of North America to keep the world safe. Having lived in the Canadian Territories of Nunavut and The Northwest Territories, it’s always interesting to read about places I frequented. Too bad Chase and his friends did not actually land the Lear in Kugluktuk (YCO) as it’s a Beautiful Hamlet and a cute airport. Thank you Chase and Kodiak for not killing either Nanook.

My favorite storyteller has done it again!

I can't imagine where in Cap Daniels' brain these stories leak out, but somehow he manages to funnel them into a cohesive and insanely entertaining tale! Not only that, he intertwines stiff shots of patriotism and true brotherhood along the way.

I understand Kenny

Loved the series but am ticked the last book won't be available until February of 24!
I understood all he said! Hope my understanding doesn't mean I have a small brain.
I thought Skipper was a bit full of herself. I
thought she was a fireball with a big brain,
but she loved Tony so she was kind of adorable.
I loved Penny! She was a glass A screen writer but more believable than most. After all she loved and rode horses.
I could list what I liked of each character but the most loving, kind, smart two people are Mango and sniper. I know that's not his character name; but that's what I called him.
All in all, the books were fun, seriously scary and took me away when I needed to escape!

I love Cap’s stories. They are always exciting and entertaining.

I had the privilege of "meeting" Cap in an ARC readers group when he ventured in and asked if someone was willing to read his very first novel. I explained to him the group was shutting down but I would be happy to read it. I did and have never looked back. Before he had millions of followers, I was able to chat with him via text with questions about different characters and where they were heading. As the gentleman he is, Cap always spent time chatting with me. I think I can honestly say that I was fan #1 and will always remain so.......

Thanks, Cap, for another story done well.

Just another nothing mission in a bland area of the world…if that’s what you’re thinking, you could not be further from the truth. Once again Cap captures our attention and keeps it from the first paragraph of the 1st chapter to the last sentence of the Epilogue. A well spun story of survival in a truly dangerous environment with plenty of twists and turns. Good vs. evil as usual but in a way that leads to quickly turning pages. I’d waited to read this one simply because I’d been captured by another author for a short series of stories and it only takes 1 book to remind me that Chase Fulton and crew are the best of this genre. And I’ve read most. Rapp, Reacher, Kaine, and more. Thanks Cap!

Daniels never ceases to amaze me, book after book, story after story. This latest novel is no different. It’s amazing, intriguing and downright fun to jump in and swim with the sharks. Arctic Circle style. That means, in this continued heat wave, you’ll be cooler just by reading about -10 below. You’ll don a deep cold white suit and carry a your own rifle! Yay! Shooting it is optional, as there’s a time to shoot and a time to talk. Daniels shows us how that happens. Wonderful read, a new character, and a Hollywood Premier (yawn!) tossed in. Thanks, Cap! I loved it !

I can't comprehend how this book got such a high rating. Steinbeck, Whitehead, McCarthy and Towles best books are all rated lower! The story is contrived, and the forced bravado and relentless cliches were never ending; the name for a large character was Mongo! Ingenious naming. If you're sitting on a beach chair, it might be worth a read, but there are far better spy/thrillers to consume. The author has my respect for his background and career, and based on that I hoped I would like this, but no such luck.

Ok, but not as good as previous

Have come to expect truly good stories from Cap Daniels and this one seems to just miss the mark
No obvious reason for it, except maybe the focus on the location and the hardships it brings rather the usual focus of the team and their actions
If this was a one off story, then it would most likely be 4*, however it's part of a series that for me has raised expectations and this one doesn't quite meet them
Still worth reading and book 23 is already bought and will be the next I read, so the author has to be doing something right

A really fantastic book

I really didn't want the book to end. This was the best book in this series AND the best I have read this year as of May 2nd 2025!!!!
The detailed descriptions of the environment of the frozen north, especially of the Aurora Borealis was priceless. The conversational interactions of the characters was marvelous. I really do not do many reviews but this novel deserves one, short as it is.
Thank you Mr. Daniels. Your writing has gotten better with each book!

Great adventure in the Artic

Mr. Daniels cannot be paying his research team enough! The amount of detail and science involving surviving in the Attic was unbelievable! This story was as good as any of the others in this series! The plot was very intricate and he used the elements to be a part of the problem facing Chase and the team! That the storyline keeps evolving as they move through each chapter just adds to the adventure! Quick read and great story as always! Thanks!

Arctic cold is not the only breathtaking element of this story!

Each Chase Fulton story keeps getting better and better. Chase’s group of misfit toys keeps getting more and more in sync with each other with each mission. The newest addition to the collection, Kodiak, promises to bring even greater abilities to an already complex team.
Keep the missions coming, Cap Daniels. I anxiously await Book 23.

Intriguing story

I have enjoyed the character evolution as each new adventure unfolds. I like to believe there are people like these in real life looking out for our country and keeping us safe. The story has so many surprises but is terrifying to think of as a possible reality. Absolutely love this series and the characters. I can't wait to start the next book.

Spot on, a real stem winder, as my Grandpa used to say.

Having spent two years at sea and being part of the Cuban missile blockade, I can relate to some of the stories intrigue. Thank you Cap for another adventure with Chase and talented team.

Another good one

As usual, Cap has written another page turner for Chase and the gang. Gotta love the imagination and camaraderie he describes that is the hallmark of every militarily based unit that keeps watch on each others backs and the security of our nation.
