In The Equinox and the Real Story behind Easter, Robin Walker asks some very deep questions of religious orthodoxy, such as:
1. What is Easter? 2. What is this time of year supposed to represent? 3. If it represents the death and resurrection of the founder of Christianity, why does it change every year? 4. Is it true that portions of the Christian tradition were copied from much older religions such as that of the Ancient Babylonians and the Egyptians?

I gave this book a five star because the author gave good proof of where Easter really came from plus material not read in other books. However disagree with how one may look at Easter today a lie is lie. I recommend this book for open minded truth seekers without the African customs are pagan trash.
Easter is a major event in the Christian calendar and in this short essay Robin Walker looks at it's origins. He shows that it can be traced back to pre-Christian times.
Whilst this book presents a very interesting topic and contained some useful references, its not long enough to really give the subject the attention it deserves.
