The Book of Innocence: A Channeled Text:

Rate this book
In this next installment of the Manifestation trilogy, renowned channel Paul Selig shares the words of The Guides as they offer a glimpse of a world that transcends our own limited understanding.

The Guides, otherworldly beings with deep spiritual insight, speak directly through Paul, and their message has been transcribed word for word in this revolutionary new volume.

The Book of Innocence invites readers to explore a new vision of themselves and the lives they lead—one that is pristine, fundamental, and innate. Instead of being blinded by spiritual and physical distractions, The Guides offer a return to the primal simplicity of a deeper knowing. This powerful book welcomes readers into a paradigm shifting experience of renewal and rebirth, shedding cynicism and conceit in favor of authentic, life-changing innocence.

It took me a while to read this, not because I didn’t find the messages valuable or resonant but b/c I kept stopping to write down quotes/passages. This is why books I read for spiritual sustenance I need my own copy of, but I borrowed this from the library and had to renew it three times.

It was also slow going for me because reading a Paul Selig channeled text isn’t easy to digest: the way The Guides communicate/express their message goes over my head at times. My logical mind is like, What does that even mean? There’s no way I can say I understood 100% of what I read, but I got enough out of it. And it’s not only the words that we’re engaging with when reading/consuming a text; there are things going on energetically, beyond what the logical mind can grasp.

The Book of Innocence was published in 2023. I think this is the fifth Paul Selig book I’ve read. And each book I’ve read turned out to be relevant for what is happening in the world. There’s a strong message here about reclamation, restoration. Releasing the old - old identities, old patterning. History - how our identities and expectations are influenced by it. Re-seeing/perceiving with “new eyes,” so to speak, which is one of the key challenges many people may be experiencing at this time of the great shift. The transition phase can feel unstable and chaotic (you may even feel numb) b/c the old senses change and therefore is trying to hang on for dear life, like a child having a tantrum, except on a global scale.

But the reliance on history to dictate outcome only guarantees you will have what you once had. And this is not only true for the individual, but it is true for the collective. This is a collective movement now. And the chaos you see about you, the recrimination that sings throughout the valleys and up the mountainside, will be heard until the voice grows tired and there is no more use for words that deify separation or support the damnation of another.

You are growing tired as a collective of recrimination as a way of changing behavior. You must have a new model, a new template for being.

What is actually happening is that the density of the plane is moving in the most challenging ways. The evidence of old pain, old suffering, old grief, old anger, old agreements to war is being moved. And while it moves, it may seem to be present in the loudest or darkest ways. But the smoke will clear, and what was burned in the fire will be ash.

If you want a new world, let it be the world you cannot imagine. Let it be the world that seeks to be born. Let it be the song that is sung in love and laughter through the mountains and the valleys. Let all things be made new. Let the world be sung into manifestation from the high order of the Upper Room.

I read a review that said this book isn’t for anyone and I would like to echo that sentiment. To truly get a lot out of this book you need to have a relationship with God and be willing to journey into your own self. I think this book will be deeply personal for each individual reader and no two readers will come away thinking the same two things. There were parts that I liked, their were parts that I didn’t connect with. The narrator’s voice can easily lull you to sleep, not a negative, more like it sound meditative. I’m struggling with how to rate this book so five stars for being so in depth and comprehensive.

Thank you SMP essentials for the ARC.

A couple of reviews on this site state that this book isn’t for everyone. One went so far as to say that it’s for people struggling to know who they are. However, the point of the books is that hardly any of us know who we truly are, but the Guides go to great length to describe how that can be remedied through personal experience. In other words, it certainly applies to everyone. The problem is that few people are ready for such a big paradigm shift. That shift is coming—whether we welcome it or not. But who wouldn’t want a world where the main experience is love?!

This book is not for everyone and will not meet your needs if you are not in a particular moment of your life. This book is meant for folks struggling and needing something deep to connect themselves to their own purpose. I would recommend reading this book, knowing that it may not be for you, but has interesting ideas about self and reflection. Tread carefully and look for your own meaning while using this book as a guide. It is deep and moving.

This is absolutely the best book of the eleven thus far!

The Book of Innocence is absolutely the best book channeled through Paul Selig thus far! Concise and very useful material that provides clarity with ease. The material provides muitiple levels of wisdom presented metaphorically. A must read multiple times.

This book moved me.

I got the Audible version of this book and listened as I read. The information, attunements, and alignments in this book are truly life changing. I have experienced profound changes that stay with me. I highly recommend the entire series, reading them in sequence through this one. You have to experience it for yourself. I am looking forward to the next one...

Life Changing

Though the text is cumbersome, my experience as a result of reading it and then realizing the results afterwards is at times breathtaking. Objections and concerns raised by the channel often interrupt the flow, but lend an air of authenticity I have yet to encounter with similar transmissions from other channels.

Paul Selig's books are always fascinating but take a long time to absorb and read. I only read these a little bit at a time and reflect on everything he is channeling. With that said, I'm always reading a Paul Selig book at night before bed to get the messages I need to absorb. This one is no different and I really enjoyed it.

Thanks to #NetGalley for the ARC. I ended up buying the book when it came out and am sharing it with someone else now. And a big thank you to St. Martin's Press for the ARC. Sorry this one too so long to give feedback on.

Once again, Paul's Guides kick it up a notch, and explain the value of seeing everything as of The Monad thru presence and being. Most readers of this book will likely have read other books with Selig's name on them. But those that haven't will certainly benefit, although starting with his first book might be best. Highly recommended.

I really appreciate the free ARC for review!!
