This was an Instalove story that was refreshing to

Good ole angst to drive a book down the road. A couple of attempts were made but we all know Alexy is in love so the ow drama failed to cause any feels.

This starts SO strong and sucks you right into an amazing story and you immediately want to know more; unfortunately it’s like the writing is handed off to someone else bc the story just goes flat and turns into idk what bc I could not finish it. The whole thing is derailed. Shame bc it was such a good strong start. DNF

WOW what a fantastic start to this new series The Reckoning Demons and Angels series, a mafia romance focusing on the Bratva King and a princess from the Mafia.
Alexey Volkov and Gianna Bianchi a match a true match. Even though mafia marriages are strange what follows is a true love story.

4.5⭐️ I really liked this story just wished it was longer. Need more from this couple. It is refreshing to see a character portrayed as Gianna was. She was a force to be reckoned with but also very fragile. Alexey was perfect for her!!!!

A wonderful story of love
I loved this story. I love Gianna! Such a wonderful, smart, sassy, vulnerable heroine. Alexey is awesome as the hero. Flawed but knows his heart and fights for his love. Not a fan of one scene with a former psycho lover, but liked the consequences! This is 100% safe (ex-lover was years ago just refused to give up). Gianna is IT for Alexey. 5-star recommend.

Alexey and Gianna are terrific together. Both from criminal families who know how to hold their own. They are smart and witty (love the banter) but also realistic in what they must do to make this alliance work. Alexey is the perfect intelligent, calculated crime boss that knows how to be ruthless when he needs to be and considerate, witty and loving when it comes to his family and to those he is sworn to protect. He is also a very classy MMC in this genre that is well polished, educated and respected. What Alexey didn't count on was falling head or heels in love with Gianna. He was very attracted to her despite the inferences that she is a witch or possessed, loved the fact that she was not the usual candidate to marry someone like him. She's reclusive but possess' an elegance and classiness that surrounds her. She has the the ability to function in the outside world better than most people. She holds her own throughout the book when faced with people who want to destroy her and what she and Alexey have. She is "on the spectrum" which give her incredible abilities to hack most computers and an insight into Alexey's brother who is borderline "autistic", but acts as the families' computer/hacker expert.
It's one of the best storylines that has a criminal inference, but gives the reader so much more. I liked how the author balanced the storyline in a way that brought some unique aspects to this story instead of just constant mayhem. It was a very entertaining read with a different twist and different characters that made for a positive reading experience.

This wasn't a bad story but it hit too many of my points to be more than 3 stars.
She was an ultra virgin, he slept around a lot
Ow drama
He brought ow to the house for a meeting. The ow confronts the h tells her all kinds of nasty stuff and shows her a video of H and ow doing the horizontal tango. He was with her 3yrs ago.
She forgave way way way way too fast for me. He knew she was a viper and didn't protect the h.
This will not stop me from reading the next one.

This was good.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I don't know much if any, about ppl on the spectrum, but he loved her beyond anything. One reviewer wrote about bringing the OW to the house, and how that was a hard limit. Nothing is as what it seemed, but you will have to read to find out. My reason for 4 stars was at times who's line I was reading, and that through me off a bit. All in all, wonderful story.

The book was kind of bleh for a mafia romance. Both parties became infatuated and developed feelings very quickly. I was expecting a moderate burn, if not a slow burn. There was no real drama aside from Alexey's ex conquest who shows Gianna a video after which Gianna goes back to her parents home. Given her past with kidnapping I anticipated some more emotional trauma that they needed to deal with. Everything was very status quo almost. Drama quotient and spice quotient could use an increase.

Couldn't get past the bad punctuation like missing quotation marks and unnecessary commas that throw the story off. And of course the nerdy, "I'm not pretty, why would anyone want me" girl who is, of course, devastatingly beautiful, never wants to marry but it's instalove the second she lays eyes on him. Good grief! Get a new story line and an editor!

The writing is beautiful. The dialogue gave me all the feels. I just loved Gianna and Alexey.
I found I liked the pace, lack of red flags 🚩 and just enjoyed a lovely story of two people getting to know each other.
There were a couple of moments of drama but I didn’t care that they were bit parts.

Mfc is hacker and mafia who attracts notice of mmc and enters into arranged marriage. She was kidnap when she was 14 and tend to go catonic under stress. Skim thru parts.
