Mel is “the bitch of the beach.”
Jake is the new lifeguard.
They butt heads immediately and continue to try to one up each other. Slowly they realize there is more to their bantering, but can they each get through their past and the danger that the ocean brings?
Jake is able to push passed the big walls that Mel didn’t realize she had built. Through some nail-biting scary times and hilarious pranks, they are able to find their HEA and become the happier versions of themselves that had been buried.
Slow burn, lots of emotions and steamy!
