This manga series looks at the story of CODE GEASS though a unique prism, presenting the events in a bold, new way! This is the final chapter in the alternate of the series!
Code Geass: Suzaku of the Counterattack, Vol. 2 is an excellent continuation of the story that started in the first volume. The plot is well-paced, with plenty of action and intrigue to keep readers engaged throughout. The character development is also top-notch, with Suzaku's struggles and inner turmoil adding depth to the story.
What I particularly loved about this volume was the way it explored the complex relationships between the characters. The tension between Suzaku and Lelouch is palpable, and it adds an extra layer of suspense to the story. The addition of new characters, such as Gino and Anya, also adds to the overall depth of the story and provides new opportunities for character development.
The artwork is also fantastic, with beautifully detailed illustrations that perfectly capture the futuristic, dystopian world of Code Geass. The fight scenes are particularly impressive, with dynamic action and impressive use of mechs.
Overall, Code Geass: Suzaku of the Counterattack, Vol. 2 is an excellent continuation of the story, with strong character development and stunning artwork. I highly recommend it to fans of the series and anyone who enjoys action-packed dystopian stories. This volume is definitely a 5* read in my book!
Wow, this has such an interesting alternate ending!! (Or maybe it's not an alternate ending, but the anime finished differently...) The storyline difference was quite nice to read about, but there was also the fact that the rules of Geass were broken, and characters disappeared off the face of the earth without thorough explanation. I thought it was fairly clear that Geass can only be used on a person once, correct? Well, apparently not in this book. Or at least the events in which characters had been geassed never happened. O-o Despite the few disappointing factors in this other Code Geass story, Suzaku of the Counterattack was pretty awesome. Definitely worth the time to read if you've read Lelouch of the Rebellion. (It also doesn't take very long to read, so the deal just keeps getting better!)
