Traveller, Alain Deschamps, finds himself drawn into a complex web of deceit and danger, as his best friend Skip is savagely murdered down an alley off Bangkok's Khao San Rd. Could it be he was the intended victim, just like his Grandmother's mytserious death in Paris three weeks earlier? The bodycount is building around him and it has something to do with a serial killer during the Vietnam War thirty yrs ago.
