Rabenpfote und Mikusch suchen Hilfe beim DonnerClan, der im Krieg mit dem BlutClan liegt. Der Kampf ums Überleben beginnt … Der DonnerClan ist zurück!
Erin Hunter is inspired by a love of cats and a fascination with the ferocity of the natural world. As well as having a great respect for nature in all its forms, Erin enjoys creating rich mythical explanations for animal behavior, shaped by her interest in astronomy and standing stones.
I love warrior cats so this was disappointing. This was a cheesy story to please the 8 year olds wanting more. The cats from the series act differently and it’s just silly and predictable in the worst way. Fun to hear a story from Ravenpaw’s perspective though and see gay love blossom.
More like a 3.75 out of 5. I always enjoyed Ravenpaw's character and felt bad for him when Tigerclaw was so ruthless to him. I am glad that he finally knows how to stand up for himself now and knows how to defend his territory.
This was my first plunge into the warrior cat world. Raven paw and his best friend Barley are living the best life at a peaceful farm but one day that all goes away and they have to fight for what is rightfully theirs.
Whether you are a fan of the Warriors or just getting started, this is an enjoyable graphic novel. This book contains three previously released black and white comics, but now in color for this collection. -Shattered Peace -A Clan In Need -The Heart of a Warrior
This is the graphic novel that, from what I can see, was at the start of the 🚨 Controvery 🚨 There is concern of homosexual, or #Agenda based content within this series. There is nothing of that sort in this series, nor any other Warrior books that I’ve seen. The rumor seems to have started from within the fandom as a way to retcon two male characters that are close friends, to be gay. But the creator of the series has gone on record to say that the characters are not gay and that homosexuality will not be a factor in these stories because the cats are realistically based, and there is no homosexuality in cat behavior.
⚠️ Parental Warning ⚠️ For parents familiar with the series, there isn’t anything new or beyond the established lore and language.
Starclan is the heavenly clan of passed on warrior cat ancestors that watch over and guide the clan cats. Appearing like a Star Wars force ghost vision, they will communicate through dreams, and when they visit the crystal “moonstone”.
The series usually contains slurs such as “mouse brained”
I love the artwork and how it is fully in color. I also am glad to read more on Ravenpaw. It is still sad that Ravenpaw had to leave his Clan to get away from Tigerclaw. He loves living on the farm but he does miss the Clans. He just likes the farm life more. Less fighting. Although there is still plenty fighting but still less. Ravenpaw is really good with kits. I hope to read more on him in the future of him being a father to his own kits. He has many things on the farm he loves, his best friend Barley, plentiful of food and he can wake up when he wants. Even the Twolegs are decent. I see how both cats for brief moments doubts the other and they were both wrong each time they doubted one another. Sometimes one must really trust and listen to what the other one is saying. I was also happy to see Firestar and how he helped them get the barn back. What I didn't like is how Firestar is like we can't help you until they resolve their rogue situation there. After all Ravenpaw and Barley had helped in the battle against Scourge. Then Ravenpaw still felt like he owed Firestar. It was also nice to learn more about Barley and some of his back ground. How he has two brothers and a sister, even used to run with BloodClan. In the end I was happy to see they did get their barn back, even may be friends with the dogs now.

I loved Barley's personality and Ravenpaw's innocence, they made a lovely couple for sure (and yeah, I know they're not together)! I always wondered about Ravenpaw's life on the farm, specially because of he was a warrior of a clan and it seems hard to adjust to that new quiet life. The art is adorable as always and the story is charming!
Aside that, the second part was a little... lack of content? I don't know, I'd have preferred it to be focused on battles instead the quiet tension. Anyway, I loved Ravenpaw and Barley's relationship (I can't say friendship nor romance cause I'm not sure wich one I should say haha) and their decision of making the farm their own home and clan.
Ravenpaw's Path is now one of my favourite Warriors manga collections! The relationship between Ravenpaw and Barley is super sweet as always (we love these shy husbands) and it was interesting to find out more of Barley's backstory! The art is lovely as always, and I definitely recommend it as a quick and fun read.
The gay, anxious, people-pleaser representation that I desperately scrounge for from Warriors! But for real Ravenpaw and Barley literally outsell every single main character ship in the entire series and it's not close.
Loved it!!!!! I loved how it’s just Ravenpaw and Barly and that they finally get there home back. Five star book! Hopefully they have fun in the barn!!!

I have mixed feelings about Shattered Peace, a story of Ravenpaw's Path by Erin Hunter. On the one hand, it's nice to read about Ravenpaw again since he apparently decided to abandon the clans forever. However, it does kind of feel like a pointless story in the long run. Did we really need these graphic novels? Eh, probably not.
A Character We Love
So, the true selling point for this book is the fact that it brings back a character we love. Naturally, anyone who liked Ravenpaw at all would have warm feelings about this graphic novel. And that's about all this book really sells itself on: you get to return to a beloved character. I won't lie, this is usually enough to make a lot of people very happy.
As for the plot, well, it's a simple one. Ravenpaw and Barely are living together quite happily. Not much happens at the barn, so of course this story encapsulates the only true event that happens. The barn sort of serves as a resting place for many cats to use. We see this time and time again throughout the course of the other books. So, naturally, when rogues come seeking shelter Ravenpaw and Barley house them.
Unfortunately, these rogues aren't quite what they seem.
Missed Potential
So, I loved two things about this book. The first was the connection between Ravenpaw and Barley. It was sweet and a real selling point for sharing great friendships. The second was how Ravenpaw connected so well with the kits and the moment of conflict this brought to him. Was he lonely with Barley? Did he need more companionship? It's one of those touching moments that's also centered around self-needs and life choices. And I just really appreciated it.
Otherwise, I think the plot was fairly predictable. Simply by virtue of how the artwork was done, you knew something nefarious was going to happen. There really wasn't a lot of room for mystery. And despite Ravenpaw's connection with some of the cats, the kits in particular, there was no way this event would end well.
Unfortunately, however, I feel like that external conflict took so much potential away from the internal conflict Ravenpaw was feeling.
Battles, Battles Galore
I think the thing that this story did poorly was center everything so much around upcoming battles. I get that these are warrior cats and much of the stories are centered around these giant fights that have to happen, but...why? Some of them feel so pointless. Do cats really have nothing better to do than fight over territory and food?
This post has spoilers to this book and Omen of the stars book 1.
Read at your own risk
They fail to capture the true beauty of warriors with these graphic novels. It's like the whole thing focuses on just fighting. It feels like there trying to get non book lovers to like warriors. It's like, yeah, the books are called warriors, but the thing is, I like the books cuz the characters, plot, and beauty of the world of warriors are just amazing. But with these graphic novels, they took all that away. I mean, In one moment RavenPaw just watches with a smile as Barly gets into a fight. Like, what? He's thinking to himself, 'This is his fight.' Like, what about in Omen of the Stars when Jayfeather is scared when some cats start arguing. In all of the 'real' books, the cats do anything they can to avoid fighting. I mean. The books don't even feel cannon. It feels like a fan fiction wrote by someone who knows nothing about the books, other than its called warriors and about cats fighting. I really didn't like it. When you first see these books, you think of fighting to the death. However, when you read the books, you fall in love with the characters, And everything. Please make a graphic novel that feels like a warrior cats book, and not some action-filled fake. One more thing. What about Thunderclan? Like, I think it was Thornclaw, but one of the cats asked RavenPaw if he joined windclan, and acted like a jerk. Firestar too! FireStar said he wouldn't help RavenPaw cuz they were fighting rogues. Like, is this the same FireStar? He could of been nicer. I love warriors soooooo much. I just don't like the grafic novels.
Thanks for reading. Jetwing-

Ehhhh I'm not really sure about this. 2.75? The art and stories were really cute, and I always love seeing more Ravenpaw!! But this definitely had the feel of cursed child (HP), where it's about characters you know and love...but it's written by someone other than the original author(s). Firestar will likely always be my favorite, but he really wasn't acting like himself, attacking at night and throwing orders around and not telling everyone the whole plan beforehand. It was definitely jarring and disappointing.
I've read through the new prophecy arc, so it was nice to be back with characters who are younger and/or still alive, and I loved that Ravenpaw saw starclan cats!! It was good to be back in the forest, going through the gorse tunnel, seeing Firestar's daughters as kits. But it still felt off to me.
But! Really enjoyable. I don't read that much manga/comics/graphic novels, but I like them! I loved seeing Ravenpaw and the others in color 🐈 I think the second story was def the weakest, and I probably liked the first one best, but I'm not going to give individual ratings for them. I love the warriors universe and I'm still looking forward to the other manga! I just have to check what order to read it all in so I don't spoil anything (especially when even names are spoilers!).
genuinely the best run of warriors “manga”/graphic novels. i think the final part with jumper and hoot is a little bit rushed, but the quality of the art (especially this full-color edition) and the story and characters is extremely well done and much more in line with the first few arcs of the main storyline. ravenpaw is also one of my favorites, and i think this story in particular highlights how much he really has paws in both the world of the clans and his life with barley on the farm. now i’m thinking about how hard it must’ve been for him when the clans moved to the lake territories… yikes… poor little guy.
anyways, this seems like a good time to say that the warrior cats reread is going swimmingly! i really have a lot of love in my heart for them, especially these older characters who i grew up with. stupid children’s fighting forest cat books… i love you… my ratings of the newer novels will probably be lower than the older ones as i continue in my journey, but i really do stand by my opinions on the first few arcs. i think they’re really solid books for the age group, do an incredible job at worldbuilding and character development for what they are, and definitely had resounding impacts on me as a person. warrior cats world domination
Zresztą to samo można by powiedzieć o Kruczej Łapie - z perspektywy rozwoju charakteru stał się wreszcie kimś więcej, niż strachliwym, byłym członkiem Klanu Pioruna. Z wielką tęsknotą będę czekać na, niedługo ruszające w przedsprzedaż, tłumaczenie "Pożegnania Kruczej Łapy".
Too tired to write a thoughtful review. Frustrating flipflop personalities, wasn’t a huge fan of Barley here. Barley is so friendly and welcoming in the main series but here he is much more reserved. Also fails several times to care about Ravenpaw, instead wrapped up in his own insecurities. He has a bit of development though. Ravenpaw is the best but I found it odd that he’d be so gullible with strangers. You’d think that his experience with Tigerclaw in ThunderClan would make him more paranoid. So that didn’t seem totally right. But it was nice to see Ravenpaw kind of back with ThunderClan, helps paint a small picture of what it would’ve been like if he stayed. I wish he did 3 Anyways overall decent read, but doesn’t horribly stand out to me. 7.5/10
My main interest in this graphic novel, is that it’s about cats. It’s also based off a book series I started to read. I must admit, the crazy cat lady in me hates to read about cats fighting each other like warriors. Though, cats DO fight. I just work hard to make my own cats get along. Despite my dislike of fighting cats, I adored Ravenpaw’s path! The story takes place on a farm, in a lifestyle that is my own. He has a heartwarming friendship with another cat, and together they must defend their territory.
Overall thoughts: The artwork was bright and colorful. It drew me in. The plot was predictable, but enjoyable.
