Christopher Patrick Lydon, (born February 27, 1978) is a prolific Canadian gay author. He is the son of Lt. Col in the British Army and was born at Catterick Garrison in Yorkshire. He changed to his mother's maiden name in 1998 upon the advice of his editor.

He is perhaps most well known for his Carter series of books that, while semi-autobiographical, are set in Ottawa, Ontario. Christopher has won the Ottawa Municipal Grant for his writing, and has gone on to launch his first print book Return of the Sun in August of 2005.

He currently resides in Ottawa. All of his stories can also be found on CRVboy and GayAuthors. Some of his works are being published through Lulu.com.

There is currently an audio drama of The Falcon Banner being produced. The episodes are freely available at: DarkerProjects . They are also available as podcasts.

More a political thriller than anything else. Makes one wonder just how close Canada really got to joining the Iraq war
