Reaper #7

Brutal Sinner

(Alternate cover edition of ASIN B0BYY553GY.)

I am a brutal sinner. A label I carry on my back with pride. A sinner who kills the bad guys. A sinner who defends the innocent and slays their demons. A sinner with no emotion and no heart. Ex special forces soldier turned renegade. I have my principles that are stamped on my soul and I live by them and one day I will die by them. Then I met a woman who changed everything. She challenged me, infuriated me, and defied me. Her kisses tasted of cherry popsicles and damnation. She was the demon I had no strength to fight. Then she was gone and for a man with no heart, why did it hurt so bad when she never said goodbye? I will stop at nothing to find her and I always get my target. It’s time to conquer my demon and bring her in line.

A dark a well written story where a place called Heaven is the epitome of Hell in all its forms

Faith had thought she was doing the right thing when she had run from the only person that had ever shown her any true love and kindness, she had been scarred and had made the wrong decision after discovering she was carrying his baby.

Johnny had discovered that Faith had been returned back to Heaven with her parents and that they had agreed that she would be allowed to marry the Pastor after his ten days of mourning had passed after the death of his fourth under rather suspicious circumstances.

Faith had been forced to move into the house of the Pastor whilst she was taught the error of her ways and the sin that she carried was to be drawn out of her, every day she had to read the bible and then he asked questions which he beat her mercilessly for when she made an error all the time threatening her that she would never see her daughter again.

Faith had not seen her daughter Hope since the day she gave birth to her at the hospital and now she had no idea where she was being kept, she had to hope that someone from Heaven would come to her aid as the clock ticked down and she felt all hope being lost.

Johnny had contacted his brothers in Sinners of the Twisted Reapers MC and they had all come to his assistance having discovered that his new born daughter Hope was his daughter and that he had to locate where she was being secreted away before rescuing the love of his life Faith.

The rescue had been well planned and it was essential that they discover that the baby had been well looked after, the baby is the picture of an angel and he feels his heart instantly held within the two hearts of the women he loves beyond all else.

I guarantee that you will find this to be a simply wonderful read the characters are so wonderfully written and I guarantee that you will be left looking forward to more books in this wonderful series.

I guarantee that once you begin reading you will have to finish this wonderful book in one sitting and I guarantee that other readers will feel exactly the same.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

**3.5 stars**
I loved the premise and concept of the plot and storyline.
It was gripping and captivated me.
One vile evil man using religion in an extreme way for his own sadistic needs.
That absolutely got me attention and kept it.
I also liked Jonny and Faith. But of them were brought up in a cult aka Heaven.
It wasn’t only their very strict upbringing that had them wanting to leave.
But also the lack of love and kindness from their parents and the adults that made up Heaven.
Everything and everyone was just so cruel and horrible.
Jonny went on to do bigger and better things. He made a difference for his country and knew the value he added in combating evil.
Faith was a strong and determined young lady. But the odds were also stacked against her.
While I appreciated both the main characters and I liked them. I just didn’t feel their connection.
While I was reading I actually thought maybe there was a previous book for them and I missed it.
Their bond and their relationship was very detailed. I wanted to see more of their childhood together and they went from being friends to lovers and falling in love. But that part was more glossed over.
So I wasn’t able to feel their love and their devotion to one another. I did feel their physical attraction but not the stronger and deeper type of love.
I loved the action and suspense of the Reapers planning and taking down of the Heaven cult.
The collection of the men that made up this MC and the missions they took on made it that just more exciting and entertaining.
The saying you can’t judge a book by its cover certainly applies here.
The clean cut God fearing men and the tattooed bearded men.
After seeing how truly ugly these men of God were and having tried to escape them and fighting tooth and nail till the very end I would have thought Faith would not have been learned this lesson.
The Reapers showed her nothing but kindness and compassion but she was quaking in her boots around them. Because they looked scary and had tattoos really?!
What a far cry from the girl that was filled with so much spirit and fire. To passing judgment based on looks.
But I was happy that when she gave them a chance she saw how good their hearts were.
I did enjoy reading the book and I’m looking forward to Purity’s book.
Btw I freaking love the cover of Brutal Sinner! 😍🔥

Saints, No Sinners!

It is amazing in how many ways The Twisted Reapers can save people and places. This is the story of Faith and Jonny from a town called Heaven which rightly should be named Hell! Jimmy is a member of the Reapers and met Faith when he returned home after being in the military.

Heaven is a Hell on earth. The town is ruled by an evil preacher who has blinded the town members to any truth. Everything is a sin. The women and women are terrorized by the minister and ruled over by their husbands and men. There's no TV, newspaper or radio or any outside contacts with the rest of the workd. The girls are married to men their parents and his parents choose. It's hard to believe that something like that can happen in our society.

We know that people do easily give up their rights to almost anyone who speaks with authority even when they're clearly wrong. The Twisted Dealers and Jonny arrived in time to save Faith from "a fate worse than death."

Of course, once Jonny saves Faith and their daughter, Hope, with the help of his brothers, The Twisted Reapers; they return to the Reapers home, The Rubicon. As Faith finds her way, she falls in love with the men and women of the Rubicon. This is another book of the Reapers where they save and deliver not only Faith and daughter Hope, but an entire town as well.

Of course, Jonny, Faith and Hope have an HEA. There's also a novella to download which introduce you Jonny's and Faith's beginning. I just want you to know that these books are addictive even though they're pretty much alike.

I love retribution and revenge storylines that reek of justice to the abused. The blurb of abused Faith having no hope in a severely evil cult town being rescued by her one true love had me eagerly wanting to read this one!
I liked the way this author built up the evil and drama, but by the 24% mark I felt it was taking way too long. The evil reverend, his cult followers, her abusive father, it went on and on and on.
I wanted the rescue, I wanted the justice, I wanted the pain for the evil (yes, I think I’m a whole lot more bloodthirsty then the author)
Definitely picked up at the 34% mark and it was action and good reading for another 15%. I loved the power, and righteousness of Jonny’s MC and how they rallied together to make things right. I wished there was more punishment and pain for the guilty-especially since the author took time to outline the extent of abuse, and twisted evil in the name of religion that this town lived in.
The second half of the book was devoted to the new lifestyle Faith needed to adjust to after her rescue. I loved the way Jonny continued to be her rock and savior. The MC was incredibly accepting and gentle with Faith and Hope.
Points racked up here with the lack of OW drama, cheating, and other irritants that could have detracted from this storyline.
All in all, a feel good read!.

Faith, Hope and Love

This was a heavy one. They never said this was a cult but it sure sounded like one and the FMC went through a lot before she finally got free from her family and the people who were keeping her and her baby imprisoned. She had some help from some of the more skeptical members of the town of Heaven and her love, Jonny, the MMC.
I liked the story but there were some areas that bothered me a little. One of which was why Jonny was suddenly sent to back to Heaven by his club Pres after being gone so long and his inconsistencies in his feelings for Faith. Also, was some issues with details such as supposedly Faith was still breastfeeding Hope but she spent at least a week separated from her while confined to a dungeon-like room. She would have probably have had issues with feeding after that point because her breasts would be so painful and she certainly wouldn't feel like having sex for the first time in 18 months after having been beaten about her face and head while confined. Another issue was that, it was mentioned that she ran away at one point when she found out she was pregnant but no information on how she took care of herself or how long she was gone. So, I guess most of my issues were just trying to work out timelines in my head. It just seemed like a bunch of things were mentioned as happening but they weren't really put together in order. Otherwise, I enjoyed the story. Solid 3.5

✨Second Chance

✨Dark Romance

•Dual POV
•Stand-alone

Faith & Jonny grew up in Heaven, under the rule of a horrible reverend. The reverend had people brainwashed into their way of life, but both Jonny & Faith knew better. Faith & Jonny had a fling, but Jonny was going back to the special forces and Faith found out she was pregnant and had to run away. Unfortunately, Faith is found with her baby and taken back to Heaven. She is forced to do many things and is brutalized, but Jonny returns to try to help her and take the town down.

I liked the storyline of Jonny & Faith and a few people of the town trying to take the reverend out and rescue Faith & Jonny’s baby. I would have liked a little more of the connection between Jonny & Faith showed on the page. I stopped reading at one point because I thought I missed a book, to find out there was a prequel novella to this book. I would recommend reading the prequel, so you get the story of how Jonny & Faith met, that led to where they are in this book. With that prequel, the entire story made more sense, as well as the connection between them! I really enjoyed the writing style by this author and will be reading more by her’ 🥰

So this was my first time reading this author’s work and while this book can be read as a standalone, I personally wish I would have read the other books in the series before I read this one. However, that is not the reason for my rating as that is more of a personal preference on my part.

If you are looking for a story that is more focused on the plot than spice and/or relationship then you should definitely check this one out. The story is well written and engaging and the main characters are likable. I just didn’t really feel the connection between the two main characters until the very end. They spent most of the book apart and we don’t really get much in the steam department.

The religious cult aspect of the story was the main focus here and as I said, it was a good storyline, but for me I just wish it wasn’t all there really was to the story until the end. But I would definitely recommend it to someone who is ok with a book that isn’t as heavy on the romance and spice side of things!

This is a new journey into the Reapers world.
Jonny is a Reaper. Having joined the Military to escape an abusive family within a cult,it is suggested he might be better served joining Ryder King than serving as a soldier.
Faith is trapped in the same cult Jonny escaped, waiting for her abusive family to marry her off when she turns 19.
A chance meeting when Jonny visits his family at the cult, rekindles a childhood friendship with disasterous results.
Jonny has to call on his Reaper brothers for help to rescue Faith from a lifetime of misery before she is sentenced to the hell of an arranged marriage.
This is an absolutely fantastic revisit of the Reaper MC and a throw back to Stella's Mafia series, for which this this book is a very clever bridge. Where this book is taking us is going to br epic. I can't recommend this book enough. If you haven't read the Ortega Mafia go do it now, it will make the flow from this book to the next series more exciting.

This is my first Stella Andrew book and it won’t be my last. I stumbled upon a chapter in the author’s newsletter and I knew I wanted to read this.

This is deep. You may cry but know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It is so interesting that I finished it in a couple of hours. It has been so long that a book touched me liked this.

Brutal Sinner follows the story of Faith and how she is rescued from the cult-like town where she is being held hostage.

The plot was beautifully written. There were no gaps in the past. Although I would have appreciated a little more detail.

All of the characters delivered exactly what was expected of them. From Rev Peter to Agatha to the Gastons and even Blade. Each one played their roles perfectly.

There was no trigger warning but some readers might be triggered by the depiction of abuse and the cult in which half of the characters lived in.

If you love motorcycle club romance then you will enjoy this.

Brutal sinner is a heavily religious trauma filled MC romance so please check trigger warnings. This book does end leading into the next book so it's sort of a cliffhanger. This was an interesting read. it didn't have much in the sense of romance until the very end it more relied heavily on the religious trauma aspect. Jonny went back to his home town to deal with some unfinished business and he receives a very unwelcoming welcome home. Heaven is a very old school almost cult like religious town where women mean nothing but to serve men. And Faith is being forced to pay for her sins because of a secret baby she kept from Jonny. When the reverend forces her to be his fifth wife her best friend and one of the towns people secretly hatch a plan with Jonny and his Motorcycle club to help rescue her and her baby. I personally didn't love it but that doesn't mean someone else won't so if you don't mind the religious aspect for a majority of this book then definitely check it out.

What to write that I haven't said before about Stella Andrews books. I don't want to write much being spoilers would be almost a given, so I will keep it kind of short and sweet. This book starts off intense and a page turner, I couldn't put it down till things started to go in a light/happy direction. The history, experience, and connection of the male lead Jonny and the female lead Faith truly show that people can learn from the past and make themselves better. in addition, not everything is what it seems and you have to go outside of the box to see what really is happening on the inside. Luckily for this book there is no cliffhanger. The epilogue is a plus though and helps give the next book that will be coming out that involves some of the characters from this book and previous characters from some of he mafia series books. Another great book Stella!!!.

* MC / Military Romance
* Secret Baby
* Second Chance
* Cult upbringing
* Kidnapping / trauma

The first part of this story brings plenty of excitement. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, then this one will definitely be right up your alley. Johnny and Faith grew up in Heaven, a cult town that is run in a way that women and children are considered second class citizens. Johnny was able to get out and join the military but wanted to return to reunite with Faith one more time after their brief romance didn't work out. Things quickly escalate and a simple meeting becomes anything but. The drama comes quick with this one and leaves plenty of time for a thorough resolution and allows for a very complete storyline. As always, be sure to check trigger/content warnings as there are a lot of sensitive subjects discussed in this book but if you are able to read it and enjoy the above tropes, I highly recommend adding this one to your TBR.

If you are like me and many others, who loved the reapers, you will be delighted at this latest book.

Jonny is a Reaper, ex military, who grew up with Faith, when he thought she didn’t want him anymore, he left her and his family. The place he lived was called Heaven, but never has a name been more misleading.

Faith grew up with Jonny in Heaven, he was lucky enough to leave but she is still there. She tried to escape but got caught and now she has to face here penance.

Jonny happens to go back to visit his parents and realises things were not as he thought and he needs to call on his MC family for help.

In comes Ryder and the reapers.

You will love this book and if like me you’ve read the Mafia books, you’ll be interested in the storyline and definitely be looking forward to where this book takes us. Maybe first one in next series by Stella.?

Can’t wait to read what’s next.

This was firmly 2.5 stars for me... I liked the plot and characters, but the writing had terrible syntax and structure :( I'm a professional editor and I've never read a book that lacked so many necessary commas and correct quote positions, etc., and it just drove me too crazy!
The other thing that bothered me is that the 9-month-old baby is referred to as a "bundle" three times and she's always asleep and doesn't eat solid food, more like a NEWBORN ... a 9-month-old baby is big and can pull up and sometimes even walk; they wouldn't be just a sleepy lump as described. Also she can breastfeed 100% of her baby's needs after a week of being starved and locked away without nursing or pumping?! Those of us who have been through it know your supply would be COMPLETELY gone. Just annoying to have these details wrong when they're part of so many women's experiences and easy to vet out.

I can never decide with Stella wether l love her Mafia side or her MC side best, I think I just have to say, What a writer!

If you love the MC’s you’re in for a wonderful treat, Brutal Sinner is part of that world, and it pulls no punches.

Sinner is part of Ryders group and he left behind a part of his life to escape to a better place, not knowing the girl he loved and left is now paying for their joint betrayals of their families.

This is a breathtaking and quite emotional story. It’s one that is bound to make you feel for these two characters, and I recommend you make sure to read with a box of tissues.
It’s so good!

True love's second chance. This was a darker romance and takes place partially in a town called Heaven. But is anything but hell. The reverend is not a man of God, but a brutal tormentor. I am really glad that Faith had Jonny. Otherwise Faith and her daughter would have had a life of hell on Earth. After being rescued, Faith has quite the adjustment she needs to make.
I loved the length of this book because I was able to read my way through it an felt fully satisfied. I have always loved reading Stella Andrews, from her characters, writing style, and the wonderful stories she weaves. It is truly masterful and appreciated.

Wow, this was a fantastic book to read, the story was so mesmerising and the characters were absolutely captivating. This story was about Jonny and Faith, Jonny was told never to go back home that he was a devil child, his parents went to church a lot and were ashamed in church until he left. Faith always tried her best but her parents were never happy, Peter the priest said Faith was possessed by a demon and he will get rid of it. Jonny was looking for her after dating for a short time then she left him without his knowledge and wants her back.

Faith is being forced to marry by threats to her baby.
When Faith has found she was pregnant she had escape the town called Heaven and made it to a woman's shelter. Then after she has her baby she wakes to find that her parent and the Reverand Parker had got a document that she was an unfit mother and had already taken her child thus forcing her to return to Heaven. When the reverend's wife dies she is shock to find how that will impact on her life. Sinner was born in Heaven but escaped into the military but did not understand why the woman he loved had run from him. Now he was on a mission and had a chance to get answers.

Having met Jonny in the Ortega Mafia series, he now tries to sort out his own life by returning to his hometown of Heaven. He wants to reconnect with Faith who he shared a night with when he was on leave from the military. However, when he does see her, he finds out he has to act quickly to get her away from Heaven before she is forced into an arranged marriage. What better place to take her than the Rubicon, home of the Twisted Reapers. Great to meet up again with some previous favourite characters. Not sure how this author does it but she manages to interweave stories and characters between one series and another beautifully. Read an ARC for an honest review.

Faith and Jonny grew up in Heaven, which is a cult, and are close until he is forced to leave. Faith tried to escape but was caught and forced back to face penance for her actions. Jonny is ex-military, and he returns to visit his family, and knowing things are not right, he calls on his MC brothers for help. This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, heartbreak, tragedy, twists, second chances, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Where did all the 5 star reviews come from? For starters Sinner and Faith aren't even a couple in this book. Like at all. It went on and on about the same thing and never really said anything. This was boring. I kept falling asleep and then started skimming. I guessed I skipped all the important details. Why did Sinner go back. How old was the child? This was 36 chapters of nothing. It wasn't romance, wasn't mc, wasn't mafia: just words on a paper. Then they brought up another storyline and way too many people. It's almost as as if I should have read another book first just to meet the characters.

Note to self: Read no more of her books. Everyone I have read, I have rated 2 or below.

3.5 would be my true rating if I could give half stars

This is another awesome read by Stella Andrews. The way she writes is so expressive. I struggled with reading this book because it is heavy on religious trauma and religion, which I am not a fan of. The romance/ spice seemed to lack most of the way through the book. It seemed to pick and be portrayed towards the ending of the storyline. This story is well written and engaging. I feel that this is a book that I would recommend to someone that likes books with religion being a big component to a book and to someone that does not like a high romance or spicy level read. It is an overall good book.

Brutal Sinner...

A Reaper Romance. This book is angstful and dramatic. Gut wrenching and heartfelt. Jonny and Faith are from a small town named Heaven. This town is lost in a time and age of HELL NO! They book up and she gets pregnant but he doesn't know. And to protect him and herself, she runs away from everything. She has the baby and gets dragged back to town by the monstrous pastor and crazy as heck parents. Jonny aka Sinner, doesn't give up. The Reapers come in and do what they do best. An awesome read. Fantastic to see the whole club again. And a wild ending indeed. Onto this amazing author next book.

A beautiful story of love against adversity. Jonny & Faith are torn apart by a cult. Jonny left the cult better life & is cast out by them but his love for Faith makes him find her again & when he does Jonny needs to save Faith from a horrendous future that would see her eventually killed. Along with his reaper brothers he saves her with a beautiful twist to the story. This is an emotional one so be prepared for tears.

I always love Stella’s MC Reaper books and can’t wait to read more.

Tropes: MC romance, second chance romance, secret baby

Dual POV: Faith & Jonny

Stella Andrews is a new author to me. Brutal Sinner is part of Reaper Romance Series. It is very fast pace and a quick read. It dove right in to the plot. This book focused more on the town of Heaven, which was ran by the Reverend and how Jonny saved Faith from marrying the Reverend and finding their daughter. It didn't have a lot of romance in it until towards the end. Faith & Jonny's past was mentioned but didn't get to read the beginning of their story.

Overall, it was a good read. It gave me a break from the heavy plot books that I was reading.

I am torn between 4 stars and 3 stars because this is a very well-written book with a great plot. I just didn't personally care for it. This is Jonny and Faith's story; it is what I consider MC-lite, as the H is in an MC, but there isn't a lot of MC life shown. This is more of a religious/cult story, and anyone with any type of religious trauma should read the trigger warning and head them.
Putting that aside, this is a very good book, and I do generally love Stella Andrews books and series; this just wasn't my favorite.

Dark secrets, control and Redemption

Faith was in trouble, she'd ran and they found her. Now she's been separated from her baby and the brutal Reverend has her in his clutches.
Jonny has come back to "Heaven" .... or Hell as he calls it. Now he finds out that Faith is in the Reverends clutches and that he has a daughter.
Can he get to the truth in time and save them both ?? Can he and his new family put things right and serve justice on the Reverend and his cronies.
Read and find out.... you won't be disappointed

How have I not read any books from Stella Andrews before?

This book was thrilling right from the very first page. I didn't stop until the last.

It was very twisted and cult like, and I absolutely f**cking love that!

IT'S 110% MY JAM!

I felt so bad for Faith and Jonny. The life they lived and the town they grew up in was messed up.

I can't wait to read more, but now I am most definitely looking forward to Purity's story. That will be good!

This was a great read, bringing a new Reapers MC story about Jonny. Who featured as an undercover bodyguard in a previous book series (Ortega's)
What a great combination of crazy town meets the Reapers MC.

A modern version of Romeo and Juliet, with a virgin from a religious cult and ex town resident who's a Reaper MC member.

Looking forward to Purity's story she's one interesting fiesty female character l, with a whole heap of trouble.
