About the author

Lorelei is a Michigan native and single mother to four daughters. Her parents migrated from Yemen in the 1960s, and she first began writing at the age of ten. Despite living a sheltered life, Lorelei found that words were a gateway to freedom and her best form of self-expression. She has since used her writing to heal and grow, and to help her readers embrace themselves for who they are. In addition to writing, Lorelei loves spending time with her family and exploring nature.
