The treaty relied on marriage. At least, that had been the plan until now.
More involved with the war than they ever planned, Grace and Freddie must pull two kingdoms together to fight side by side.
Separated for the first time since they met, Grace must convince the Ablunoran King to sign the new treaty while Freddie is re-immersed in her family following the deaths of the King and Crown Prince.
Grace needs to handle being thrown together with Rowan, her one-night stand, for longer than either of them had planned. Freddie considers her possibilities with Tiffany, alongside her growing relationship with Grace.
The writing: top notch. Very sophisticated tone which I enjoyed. The plot: different from anything I've read before and to be honest not my genre of choice but wanted to give it a go. Albeit slow in the middle, there were plenty of twists and lots of character development. For me personally I would've liked the ending to have been more of a cliffhanger where it is a duology, however I liked the way it left it still. To sum up, if you liked Amazon's The Boys...you will love this!
In "Twisted", we have supervillains and superheros in plain sight. I quite enjoyed the refreshing twist to the whole hero/villain trope. Liliana is such an interesting character, and her journey is very well-crafted. Definitely a book I'll read again and again.
Grace and Freddie are trying to save everyone's life by getting a steady signed. Grace is separated from Freddie and starting to realize what she means to her. Freddie is dealing with family and building a better relationship with her brother that is now the King. With both hoping for a better life thing are still not right. The fight for free is still at hand. A wonderful story I don't want to give to much away and a very different ending for a hea
I have absolutely adored this series. Pirates, princess and mythical creatures. The romance is fantastic and I adored the ending to the series. Such a truly beautiful story. I love Grace and Freddie so much
By this point in the book I was so invested in the plot I was completely unphased by the lack of spice. Amazing story. A+ ending. I literally scream laughed at the ending. Made my Fiancé jump.
This was so different to anything I’ve ever read in the best way! I found myself hooked all the way through and absolutely could not put it down! So well written too, I really enjoyed this!
