Full of interesting facts but;
It would have been helpful if each chapter heading included the birth & death date of the person. It took a few paragraphs to discover the era/century into which that person was born. Most of the people mentioned were unknown to me.
Possibly costs prohibited the inclusion of illustrations in the book so I often consulted online images to get an overall understanding of the person.
I found the author’s research quite detailed which should be appreciated.
