I really liked reading this book and learned a lot about Rally. I don't think I am interested in competing but there are some good tips and some training that will really come in handy in getting better obedience from my dogs so it was well worth reading and I recommend it to anyone interested in the sport or even if you just want to learn some new techniques for your obedience at home or in other sports.

I relied on this book while training my late Alaskan malamute, Masasyu's Fellow Traveller, for Rally. Trav started off as the student most likely to flunk out of Rally class but went on to win a bunch of titles, including ARCHX and RL3 (APDT, now CynoSport Rally), P-CRO-CH (Cyber Rally-O), and RA (AKC) -- not bad for a novice handler and a malamute! Now I'm using it with his successor, Tam Lin, also a malamute and now eight months old. It breaks down Rally skills in a sensible way and is well illustrated. Recommended!
