Trials
Wow Valentina still doesn't know what is happening. She know shoots fire from her hands. Everyone seems to be after her, but the reason is why. What is she really? Even the witches want her as well as vampires.
The three mates are having a real hard time protecting her. I just wish we learn more about her instead of it being stretched into so many books.

I didn't like this one as much as the first couple of books. It just didn't do it for me but I still want to read the next book just to know what's going to happen next.

This is book three of the Urban Academy series and the main characters are Valentina and her three wolf shifter fated mates, Storm, Fox and Bishop. She has been accepted into the academy, even though she seems to be fully human, by the headmistress, in return for working there as a janitor and also attending classes on the supernatural. There aren’t many students who like her, even her roommate Raven is a bit odd towards her. She has an amulet that Jo (Josephine), who she works with at The Midnight, a local student bar for the supernaturals, told her to wear to protect her. Not that it seems to be doing much good. Everybody in the bar seem to think it is open season on the human and grabs her whenever they can, apparently her scent is delicious to them all. She already has these three shifters who say they are her fated mates, following her around, even when their professor said that harems weren’t real and don’t occur in the shifter world. She has already fully mated and been claimed by Fox but not the others yet, as they are taking it slow. As Storm walks her back to the academy from her late shift at the bar, she is targeted and attacked. Only Storm’s shifter strength and speed allows him to defeat the majority of the attackers and get her back to the bar and her apartment over it safely. They certainly can’t turn up at school covered in blood as they are!
Apparently she has drawn the attention of someone called ‘Master’ and they want her for some reason. Her head was ringing after the attack and she had been tingling with a sensation that she was being watched, but hitting her head on the pavement hasn’t helped at all. Storm refuses to shift and heal, as he won’t leave her alone and in possible danger. This isn’t going to be the only attack on her, as more follow. Storm calls in Fox and Bishop and they vow to keep her safe, with at least one of them with her at every moment. Something really strange happens during the second attack, which proves that the headmistress was maybe correct in allowing her into the school! Jo and Onyx try to find out what has been happening and who is after her, but whatever Onyx finds out from her former gang members, leaves her silent. Jo points her in one direction for assistance, but her lack of knowledge about the supernatural is about to bite her in the back, as a deal goes awry. Another short session more out of school than within, but with danger a plenty. Good thing she has three potential mates who like to stick to her like glue. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

I loved it!
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. Welcome to Urban Academy. Our heroine is busy enough with her regular life. The last thing she needs is a stalker, but a girl doesn't always get to choose. Fortunately she has more than one hero willing to lend a hand.
This is book three of the series. It works pretty well as a standalone, although you will be missing a bit of background.
The story is well written and easy to read, yet with a rather complex and twisted plot involving both a paranormal academy and a reverse harem. The characters are well developed and interesting, with distinct personalities that set each apart and bring the story to life. I like our heroine as she is smart and adaptable which is important as she is still learning about the whole paranormal community. Overall, a great addition to the series and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

Short but good
This was very short book. Ended at 86%. I think this counts more of a novella than a full blown series. The fmc is mating with her guys, and had several kidnapping attempts. It’s annoying that the fmc dives right into danger and all her guys want to do is protect her. I’m still unsure about Bishop, he left her high and dry and would only talk to her when they were along in fear of what others would say. But now he’s hanging out with her in public? Also, there’s a few instances where someone tells the main characters to do something and they respond they will but they never follow through. It’s confusing and makes me think I need to re read the last little bit just so I can follow along properly. I’m definitely interested in finding out what happens next.

communication
I enjoyed this book as there was more depth. I still don’t understand the lack of communication between her and sister. I get sister is living on an island but my implied notion is Valentina still doesn’t hear from her odd. Unless sister knows what Valebtina is and trying to keep a distance (just a thought.)
Even though something tragic occurred I’m glad all the mates are on 1 room. Communicating how they feel about her and the ‘mini harem.’ I also love when they go into wolf form and place their head of her lap, I think it’s so cute. Or when Fox has her sitting on his lap. He’s so quiet do I feel it’s unexpected but shows his love towards her. Onto the next book :)

Well crap. There’s a fourth book. Thought I had it all times out so I could just read the whole thing lol.
Valentina’s troubles only get bigger, never smaller. Between classes, her janitor job, working the bar, and having three mates, she’s burning the candle at both ends. To top it all off the stalking is now full out attacks. And there are yet only more questions, no answers, when she discovers she has powers.
Glad the next ones out soon. But not soon enough.

The story continues for Valentina, Storm, Bishop & Fox. Everything is going well for her & the guys but she's still not safe. There is something about her scent that appears to draw trouble to her. Will she ever be safe with her guys or will her stalker destroy it all?
This story ends on a cliffhanger & I can't wait for the next book.

The drama continues in these almost short stories. They don’t even qualify as novellas. These are quickie reads. I read three in one day and started after supper. Valentina and her mates are trying to stay one step ahead of whatever is stalking her. It seems she does have some supernatural power. However, she may have just lost it o save her mates’ life.

Well, I was kind of hoping that this was written better. I feel like the writer has all these ideas and tries to put them all in the book, but it just makes it choppy and not smooth. V seems to be mature and then the next thing I feel like she’s back in jr. high and having adolescent temper tantrums. I tried to start reading book for and couldn’t get past the first page.

Hmm
