It all started with a sultry snapshot of an anonymous hunk. After taking his accidentally-nude picture, Kelly never expects to see him again. But when he almost runs her over the next day, sparks fly. Too bad she can’t get involved with anyone. Determined to fulfill her dream of opening a coffee café, she knows exactly what she wants, and letting a man into her life could jeopardize her plans. The man from her photo, local donut house owner Derek, also knows exactly what he wants – her. As the small town they live in erupts into scandal over the leaked photo, Kelly discovers that Derek is as hot and sweet as the treats he sells, and just as difficult to resist. Is it true that she can only accomplish her dreams alone, or will he tear down her walls with the help of some strategically applied strawberry glaze?

I write what I know and love: adult romance with blue-collar heroes and real-life flavor. Tattoos, handcuffs and men in uniform are a few of my favorite things, and it shows in my thirty+ published books.

I live in the South with my man in uniform, who I married for the entertainment value. Just kidding - it was the handcuffs, err, true love. ;)

So far, our happily ever after includes a couple kids, German Shepherd dogs and a mutual appreciation of timely 'that's what she said' jokes.

When I'm not writing, I love reading, good coffee, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and whatever outdoor adventures I can find.

I also love hearing from readers, so don't be shy! If you've enjoyed something I've written, hearing from you would make my day.

Brilliant book, Ranae always manages to cram so much into her novellas without them being crowded.

Derek and Kelly come across as normal nice people, looking to start and enjoy a relationship. They both have a few issues, and it wouldn't be interesting if there weren't a few spanners thrown in the works along the way. There are parts where I giggled, sniffled and rolled my eyes at my ereader (in a good way).

Well worth a couple of hours of your day/evening. Just don't do what I did and d/l it just before bed, I ended up staying up until 3am finishing it!

I love Ranae's Rose's work and this one does not let me down. Kelly is a determined girl...

When one day she takes a snap of a hunk, it alters her life in a surprising way...who is this Derek and what does he want?

A great racy read, I love this author's work. The sex is realistic, without being smutty or 'fake'. A great book to warm you up on these cold winter nights....

The Run Down: Kelly is a waitress who aspires to open her own coffee shop and has sworn off relationships until her mission is accomplished. Derek is a the owner of a doughnut shop in the small town of Blue Mills where the two both live. One night Kelly sees a tall, muscular, sexy hunk in a bath towel running down the street, his delicious booty on display for all to see. Like most people living in this digital age, she did what most of do when we see something intriguing: she took out her cell phone and snapped a quick picture. She of course never thinks to see the naked stranger again. When he nearly runs her down in his car, sparks fly, and though Kelly tries to resist, her protestations are no match for the sexy Derek's charms. When Derek's naked-booty photo gets spread all over town, hilarity ensues and the small community of Blue Mills is rocked by the scandal that follows.

What I loved about this book: It combines two things girls love: sexy men and doughnuts!

What I didn't like about this book: It's entirely too short Ranae Rose!!! I wanted more of that sexy Derek!

Let's talk about love scenes: So hot, there was smoke coming off of my kindle!

The Review: I don't read much erotica. There tends to be way too much sex and not enough story. In the case of 'Glazed' by Ranae Rose, I found there was the perfect balance of story and sexuality. The characters were likeable and beleiveable, the story relatable. For me it was a tad predictable as I was guessing what was going to happen before it happened, but I didn't mind the predictability at all. It was nice to sit back and read a book that is as enjoyable as a romantic comedy on a Friday Night. It is in no way heavy or cerebral. The book is just light, sassy fun mixed with sex scenes so scorchin' you may lose your eyebrows!

Naturally my favorite character in the book is Derek. He's sexy, athletic, and a hard-worker (which I find to be the biggest turn-on of all). Even when Kelly tries to push him away he pursues her in a way that makes you want to jump into the book and shake Kelly to her senses! Ms. Rose does and excellent job of making the reader wish she were the heroin just to get a piece of the hot and sexy hero.

One of the best things about this book is the in the midst of all the hot sex, Ms. Rose stops to offer the reader a lesson in safe sex. Too many books have couples just jumping into bed together without adding the very realistic element of "the condom talk" most couples have to have when starting a sexual relationship. If you're thinking that a condom commercial in the middle of a sexy scene kills the mood, then think again! Ms. Rose doesn't miss a beat and takes us right back into the action in a way that makes us forget there was even a moment involving contraception.

To sum it all up: I enjoyed this book. It was a light, fun read that had both humor and sex appeal. I would definitely read it again and look forward to reading other works by this author. Well done, Ms. Rose.

My only complaint on this was it was short and fast BUT my compliment was it was short and fast. Yes it’s rare I’m a little torn part of me wanted the book to be longer a little more detail further drama and some drawn out yearnings for the two involved but the other half of me also feels that it couldn’t have been better written and published just as it is. So with that having been said I have to agree with most other reviews it’s a spicy and rather sweet read giving tantalizing tidbits that keep you turning the pages for more and even may give most other men or women depending on whom is reading it a few ideas for the bed room themselves.

Kelly is a very modern woman striving to be more than what she’s stuck in a dead end waitress job that has her aspiring and dreaming of owning her own coffee shop one day. A late night stop at a store on her way home from work one night delivers her a rather mysterious yet tantalizing view of a hunky man darting naked down the street. Catching a picture that is worth later more than a thousand words. What happens with that said mystery man and does Kelly get all her dreams , hopes and desires you have to read it to find out for if I tell anymore I will give to much of the book away.

Try it devour it today and let the sweet temptation take you away.

What I liked:
The story is sweet, the love felt honest and real, and the sex scenes were h-o-t. Well written and a quick read. I'd even pick this book up again, something I very rarely do with romance, to feel those happy, love feelings again.

What I didn't like:
The end of the story felt rushed. While there were no plot holes, there were some events towards the end that should have been fleshed out. It was as if a whole section of the book had been cut out. That said, it did not take away from the general tenderness of the book.

If you're looking for a romance that combines a sweet main character, spicy hero and a juicy plot-line, 'Glazed' is it. Kelly is determined to achieve her dream, but handsome Derek just might have other plans. Author Ranae Rose keeps the story moving along at a fantastic clip, creating believable characters and hot scenes. 'Glazed' definitely has all the right ingredients for a wonderful read.
