I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is book 2 of the Grumpy Boss Books but it's a complete standalone. The synopsis is straightforward. It's a good workplace dual pov age gap romance.

Olivia has spent the last years working writing press releases for an egotistical boss so she's more than ready to start anew & put her journalist skills to good use. When she's thrown into chaos on her first day of work & makes a bad impression, she wonders what she got herself into. However, she's determined to impress & show that she takes her job seriously. She has a couple of trial & errors but she doesn't stop believing in herself. I like that she was able to stand her ground, especially with Ben, but later also acknowledged that the criticism she received was valid.

Ben is the president of OVT, a broadcasting network, & is involved in even the smallest of company matters. While his words are brusque & leave others trying to avoid getting on his bad side, everything he says & does is for the genuine good of the company. He pushes Olivia to be the best journalist that she could be, though he isn't kind about it. But, he is able to appreciate her willingness to prove him wrong.

It was dislike at first encounter, though the attraction was always there. The development of their feelings may feel quick but they were subtly growing as they began to spend time working together. They began to respect each other's work ethics so it made sense to me that their feelings became romantic towards each other. They complimented each other well. I did feel as if the resolution to the conflict was easy to have a happy ending but I didn't mind much. The book is an enjoyable read.

Stuck With My Grumpy Boss is the first I have read from Aimee Bronson and I am kicking myself for not reading her before! But then again she literally just popped up on my radar thanks to #bookstagram.

I was lucky enough to get an early release copy from her to review so all of what I'm fixing to say is completely my own opinion, and not influenced because she gave me a free book.

SWMGB started out super strong with one of our MCs Olivia on her first day. And after meeting Ben she really had no clue what she got herself into. But this is where the good banter begins!! Olivia and Ben are at odds because of the job at hand. Which is very important throughout the country but even more important to each one respectively.

Olivia refused to give up and decided that she was going to do what she felt was best. And did she ever! She showed Ben and everyone else what she was made of, and in return she got huge ratings and views.

With that in the mix their dynamic starts to change a little bit by bit. She gets more views and he sees what she really has to offer. Not to mention the steam between these two!! ¡Muy caliente! 🔥🔥🔥

I loved the dynamic of her being able to pull herself together and being able to stand up for what she has to say. Even when that can be the hardest thing you can do! But Ben refused to be the one to take down the ship without a fight!

They were such a powerful couple together and could weather the hardest of situations. And that's exactly what they did. The sex between these two were beyond amazing. They had such a connection in and out of bed. And that connection continues to bleed over into achieving their goal.

I absolutely cannot wait to read more from Aimee!

Great Read!

This is book two of this series, told in dual first person pov and leaves you with a HEA. I have enjoyed all of Amiee Bronson’s books that I’ve read so far and I can’t wait for more.

I wanted to yell at Ben for being so grumpy. I smiled and encouraged Olivia for standing up to him and finding her way in reporting. My heart went out to her for the obstacles and off handed mocking she had to face. I was so proud of her for standing her ground and not letting them know it was hurting her feelings. I loved how she saw the good side of Ben and had his back even though he treated her poorly.

I wasn’t a fan of Ben in the beginning, but when his thoughts came to light, he reminding me of the bully on the playground who was secretly crushing. He redeemed himself for standing up for Olivia. I loved that he trusted her enough to enlist her help with the threat that was endangering his career. I loved that he finally stood up to the haters toward Olivia and his father.

Their chemistry was undeniable, and I’m glad that they were able to work together and also be together. I loved they were determined to face everything head on together and let their love overcome anything they faced.

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Pretty straight forward boss-employee office romance set in a reporting journalist newsroom setting. Ben comes across as someone very exacting and expects the best from his reporters (to report only the truth) and Olivia came across as somewhat of a fan-girl. There is definitely tension between the 2 as their first meeting was not a good one but she does redeem herself over time. I enjoyed reading about the journalist new reporting angle, which was really interesting but the romance angle was just okay for me, as it felt like something was missing and I'm not sure if it's because of the reporting story taking away the development of their relationship or if it's just the speed of their relationship was too fast to be believable seeing that they spent no time learning about each other as both were focused on the business and whatever else was happening in the journalist world. And yet the epilogue had them ready to be married. Perhaps another chapter in between where we see their relationship growing would have made it feel a lot more believable. That said, this is just my opinion and how I like the stories I read to flow, so please don't let my bias stop you from reading and forming your own!

This latest book from Aimee Bronson is another interesting and enjoyable read. We meet Olivia on her first day of a new job which she starts by butting heads with her new boss Ben. Ben is the gorgeous, driven, demanding president of the media company Olivia now works for.
As the story progresses we see Olivia going from the “New Girl” journalist to “Viral Queen” as she finds her footing in her new position. This progress is not without it’s confrontations with Ben, but soon the head butting turns into some super hot chemistry between to the two of them. Their strength of character allows them to weather some angry storms and ultimately come to their HEA.
As usual, Ms Bronson provides us with a story that is not all about heat and romance. She engages the reader to consider the information that the media provides us on a daily basis and to look deeper than the bold and capitalised headlines, or the person who shouts the loudest.

It is her first day at OVT Broadcasting Network and Olivia walks into the newsroom where everyone is frantically trying to remove an online article. In the ensuing chaos the big boss picks on Olivia - the new girl - and is a complete jerk. After their rocky start, Ben continues to be harsh towards Olivia. When she shows her backbone and refuses to be intimidated by Ben, sparks fly.

There are a few twists and turns in the journey to their HEA as Olivia struggles to gain acceptance as a serious journalist and with Ben resolving issues with his father - a famous and well respected journalist. Matters come to a head when Olivia gets the opportunity to take down her previous boss who just happens to be a corrupt, high profile politician who is smearing the good name of OVT after they exposed some of his shady dealings in the lead up to an election.

This is a very enjoyable read with a good storyline. The characters have depth and amazing chemistry and there is a very satisfying HEA.

On Olivia’s first day on the job actually only two hours in t even shown her area to work from she gets dingoes out. Ben Oviatt President of OVT broadcasting network goes after her for not giving any ideas on the crisis the company had to fix. A quote in an article was not correct had to be pulled down and damage control done. From that moment on he keeps an eye on her and is critical snout ever effort she make. A top reporter there takes her under her wing and tell her even with fluff pieces to give it your all or the camera will show you aren’t invested. So her next one she goes outside the box and has a viral hit. Which saved her job. If it had bombed her job would have been over. Still he is harsh with her on how she will keep that momentum up. The clash in his office ends with them kissing and more. The struggle of his feelings for her when he has been closed off just focus on work of course another crisis. Makes this one not a cookie cutter book like most of this story line are. I received a arc copy for a honest review

4.7⭐️ Falling out of comfort zones & into love

Another great story from Aimee Bronson! I know I can always count on 🔥🔥🔥, angst, conflict with resolution and a HEA. Ben is older than Olivia, but by less than 10 years, so I don’t really consider it an “age gap romance” (10+ is for me). Olivia helped Ben become more relaxed and learn to have a life outside of work. Ben helped Olivia learn to be a better reporter by pushing her past her comfort zone, even though he didn’t do it in the nicest way. I wish we had a little more about them getting to know each other better before the story ended. I did like that they were able to talk to each other comfortably & banter back & forth. There are some LOL moments. I love how they stood up for each other at different points in the story. I’d love to see a book with Eric falling in love while being able to get a glimpse of Olivia & Ben’s future, too, since we didn’t get to read how everyone reacted once they shared they were together.

Another good enemies to lovers book by Aimee Bronson, this one based around a media company and Olivia who on her very first day at OVT as a journalist comes to the attention, and not in a good way, of the President of the company Ben Oviatt.
The book focuses on the company and news stories and how they are made and rated to make for a success business, they focus on the structure and background of the business and how Ben evolved the business taking over from his father as well as the romance angle, the incredibly hot and steamy chemistry that Ben and Olivia have, which is In appropriate being an employee and the boss, but the author does a good job navigating us through storyline in a reasonably realistic manner.
A thoroughly enjoyable read and I do recommend this book.

Olivia is a hard working, down to earth young woman who walks into a workplace disaster on her first day at her new job. Way to make a first impression.

Ben is the boss of the media company and vents his frustration and anger on Olivia when one of his journalists posts a story without first checking the facts.

Ben is fairly harsh towards Olivia until she proves herself with a wonderfully popular news bite. Even then, in an attempt to stop his feelings for her from progressing, he still pushes her.

Aimee writes a truly hot story of their developing relationship and their coming out on top against the opposition.

Another great story from Aimee showing characters with depth and charm. A page turner from the start.

Olivia Taylor is a reporter on her first day on the job at OVT Broadcasting Network and she ends up butting heads with Ben Oviatt, President of the network. Ben keeps referring to her as New Girl. She just wants to be taken as a serious reporter and finally finds her backbone.

Ben Oviatt took over from his father about 15 yrs ago and brought the network back up from where it was. He's serious, grumpy and doesn't spend time with his employees and if you aren't up to his speed then you don't have a job.

Olivia got a story and did a great job that went viral and got so many hits now she's Viral Queen. But that doesn't stop her from butting heads with Ben. He yells at her in front of everyone and then in his office she ends up kissing him and more. This is just their beginning.

This contemporary romance book is page-turning with exceptional characters and world-building that is realistic. Their journey is enthralling with the tyrant that could break my heart, an enemies-to-lovers forced proximity billionaire romance, no cheating, no cliffhangers, pure steamy entertainment, grumpy billionaire boss, adventure, explicit, mature romance that is consumed by lust, desire, passion, and hot, steamy spice with all the feelings, arguing, sent on an assignment to a private resort with the grumpy boss, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her reader's hearts and attention by being stuck with the grumpy boss and enemies to lovers' billionaire romance that is explicit, making readers beg for more.

Olivia first day new job at the biggest broadcasting network OVT she walks write into chaos and ends up on the CO's proverbial list of mess ups she's only got a short amount of time to get herself off his list but when she keeps getting the stuff know one wants interviews that are boring she's fuming mad and let's Ben Oviat know what she thinks of him whitch leads to some very hot office sex. But it can't happen again and a trip to Norway shows Ben that he can't be without Olivia but there secret could be the ruin of OVT when a presidential canadate comes after Ben's company can these two take there romance further what will Ben's father have to say about it and can they work together to stop his company from going down the drain.

Right from the start, this book captured my interest and kept it throughout the story.

Olivia's first day on her new job is interesting, to say the least. She arrives and everyone in the newsroom is in a panic due to a story that was published with inaccurate information. She witnesses the most handsome man she's ever seen calmly fix the situation. She realizes he is the head of the station - her new boss.

Ben sees a beautiful woman and realizes she is a new hire. So he does what anyone does in this situation - becomes unreasonably grumpy. He rates her work harshly and lets her think he is letting her go.

Determined to succeed, Olivia is driven to do her very best no matter the assignment. When one of her reports goes viral, they celebrate horizontally... and everything changes.

I enjoyed this boss/employee relationship story with the grumpy boss. Both Olivia and Ben worked hard and were determined to succeed. The epilogue was a great ending for their story.

At the beginning of this story Ben made me angry at how he treated Olivia, but every page I told myself this is going to get better, it has to get better. The plot has all the perfect touches for a very good reading, the beginning not very pleasant, the drama, the characters that are bad and especially the hot parts. Olivia is the new reporter of the OVT channel, she wants to show that she is a true professional, Ben is the president of the channel that is focused on her work. The two surrender to the attraction they feel for each other, stay together even when everything seems to go wrong and have their HEA.

On Olivia's first day there was crisis at the newsroom. This is where she is star struck by her famous boss Ben. Olivia's nerves got the best of her and she was trying to hide away. Ben caught her and he wasn't very kind about it. That had made her be on his bad list and so the dispute starts between them
This story was a wonderful live story about news reporting company and these 2 individuals. I loved the whole team behind them too.
There was plenty of hot spicy scenes between these too and they were good. There was plenty of drama, personal battles and love.

I have to say that I enjoyed this book, and was hooked from beginning to end. The story is well-written, flows well and has lots of twists and turns. Olivia and Ben are great characters who are well-drawn and interesting and make a powerful couple when they come together and can weather the most difficult situations, which is good because they will need to. The chemistry they shared is palpable and undeniable, and the closeness and sex between them were amazing.

This is the second book in the Grumpy Boss series but it can be read as a standalone. I read an ARC of this book and am voluntarily writing my review.

I fell in love with this book. It was not your usual office romance. To Olivia, he was the legend, and to Ben, she was the new girl. Ben kept Olivia in his sight until he gave her an assignment that he knew she would fail at, but nooo she became the viral queen. The banter between these two will keep you entertained. When she stands her ground, the ground is swept right from under her. The chemistry is scorching hot. This book will give you plenty of attitude, laughter, chemistry, and a job well done.

OMG!!!This was a great book and I really enjoyed reading it and it was a page turner and I could not stop reading it or even put it down not even for a second . I fell in love with these characters of of Ben and Olivia they a chemistry that was magical. It was a romance romantic love affair between these two he was her boss as she her new job. It was realistic and powerful story with business and pleasure in the mix of Olivia keeping her job.

I enjoyed this office romance enemies to lovers romance.
Ben is definitely the perfect Bosshole at the start of this book with the way he treats and singles out Olivia. But the attraction grows and so does the heat between them. I loved the banter heat and sexiness between them. And the way Olivia stood up for Ben.
I would have liked the Epilogue to have been longer and showed how people reacted to them being together.

I love books with the grump/sunshine characters. This enemies to lover’s trope brings the sparks that are tangible. Olivia shows up for her first day of a new career only to be scolded like a child by none other than the President of the company Ben. First impressions are often lasting impressions so it makes a while for them to truly understand each other’s perspectives. This was an interesting read and I would recommend it. It can be read as a standalone.

Olivia has just joined OVT Broadcasting Network. Day #1 she negatively attracts the boss’ attention. An important election time, but Olivia is sent to cover a celebrity restaurant, a dude ranch, and a rollercoaster. Not what she thought she'd end up doing.

Good romantic story and good characters

I liked the character of Olivia, the new reporter in a media, whose boss Ben, leaves her little chance of succeeding and who is unpleasant. Their story is romantic, full of “I hate you, me neither”, of verbal arguments with an emotional roller coaster for Olivia.
The evolution of their relationship is all the more exciting.

But he’s super handsome and they seem to be unable to help themselves from staying away from each other. But she gets an assignment and he’s going too! I really enjoyed this story and the storyline. Enemies to lovers between employee and employer so forbidden and taboo all the way around. This book has grumpy alpha males, corrupt politicians, and reporters that have a huge hand in saving the day. This is a book that is a definite must read, it will not disappoint.

Stuck with my grumpy boss is a fast paced story that centers around two reporters as they face some formable obstacles and try to navigate a new relationship.

I found myself relating to Olivia as she fought to make her.place in a new job and prove herself to her new team and boss.

The story was well written and I enjoyed the dynamic between all the characters.

Aimee Bronson brings us an intriguing story full of chemistry and insight into the newsroom. Ben and Olivia butt heads before exploding into heated intimacy. Age-gap and boss/employee dynamic of this story allow for some complications to ensue before their HEA can be achieved.

Olivia is a new reporter whose first day on the job does not go well. The company's CEO Ben comes down on her a little harshly. What follows is a relationship that starts with fire, settles, then flares again. This book is a great read. Pick up a copy, sit back, and enjoy.

Not quite forced proximity , as the title implies. Not quite insta love, not quite enemies to lovers, not quite as good as the last book. There was no build up of the relationship. They just kept falling on each others' lips and proceeding from there.
