One winter season.

That’s all Lily wanted. One winter season to escape her problems: The guys she couldn’t love. The guy who broke her heart. The ghosts that haunt her past.

A winter in snowy Utah - fighting for a competitive position as a snowboard instructor - that’s about as far away from her problems as Lily can get. The perfect distraction. The perfect escape.

Until it’s not.

When Lily moves into an overcrowded condo with six guys, she expects sweaty thermals, empty beer cans and drama over kitchen mess.

She doesn’t expect to lose her heart.

Matty, Liam, Eddie, Antoine and Seth have nothing in common, except for a love of the snow - and the run-down condo they share in an overpriced ski village.

Until Lily moves in for the season.

Easily one of the most interesting 'why choose' romances I've read so far.

Lily leaves her life in Hawaii behind to become a snowboard instructor in Utah. To save money on rent she ends up moving in with 6 guys... Seth, Liam, Antoine, Matty, Eddie & (GAG) Tom. What happens when she starts to have feelings for 5 of them? BECAUSE FUCK TOM.

Elisha Kemp uses book 1 to set up the polyamorous relationship, and she does it brilliantly. Rather than making it all about the smut, she focuses on each individual relationship between Lily & the guys, as well as amongst the guys themselves.

This book has a slow start and if you're looking for a smutty why choose, this isn't the book. I feel book 2 is where we'll get the smut.

I loved how every character had their own culture and history, and you could tell that the author did her research. This book has surprised me and I'm excited to start book 2!

This book features:
- Slow burn
- Why Choose (5 MMC's x 1 FMC)
- Workplace romance (ski village setting)
- Asexual x bisexual x demisexual representation
- Low angst

OMG y'all, I absolutely loved The Season! Though it's very different from Elisha Kemp's Dying Gods series, the writing and the characters are just as amazing. I am not sure I've read anything like this book before - on the whole it's an exploration of sexuality and relationships and it's just beautiful. And the backdrop of roommates working as ski/snowboard instructors at a fancy resort was giving me all kinds of cozy cuffing season vibes.

In an effort to get away from the pressures of her life (and her ex boyfriend), Lily moves from Hawaii to Utah to train as a snowboard instructor for the winter season. When she accepts her fellow trainee's offer for an inexpensive place to stay, she doesn't realize that she will be rooming with 6 other guys. While things are awkward initially, eventually Lily starts getting comfortable around most of her new roommates. They all begin opening up to each other, and soon Lily reveals an issue she's been dealing with - she doesn't feel attracted to people the way she feels others do. As she explores the possibility that she's demisexual, she gets closer and closer to the rest of the guys and realizes that she IS feeling attraction - towards (almost) all of them. As they all work through the season, things start to get tense around the house as friendships are formed, trust is broken, and they all try to figure out how they feel about Lily and each other.

So I went into this expecting it to be more of a sports romance, but it really is more about exploring attraction and relationships with forced proximity. The LGBTQIA+ rep in this book is amazing - Lily thinks she's demi, Seth is ace, and Antoine and Liam are bi. I love that all of the guys feel so protective towards Lily - especially sweet Matty who I definitely fell in love with immediately. The story primarily focuses on Lily, but there are POV chapters for all of the guys as well. Though there is pretty minimal spice in this first book, I think I can see where things are headed, and I'm REALLY excited about it!

Most of the book is really low angst - for over half of the book the characters are just trying to get through their initial snowboarding instructor training and feel each other out. However, the end is INTENSE (check TWs), and there is a cliffhanger at a pretty pivotal moment. I am SO EXCITED to see where this series goes - there's a lot to unpack and I'm here for ALL OF IT. I cannot wait for y'all to read this book when it comes out, bravo Elisha!

Sports romance, why choose with 5 guys, diverse characters, slow burn, forced Proximity…I ate this book up!
I absolutely loved the characters, Seth and Matty could be my favourites. I just want to give them cuddles.
The love these men have for her and for each other (yes there are MM scenes too) the friends to lovers build up was so beautiful.
I cannot wait for book two!! Because that ending just left me hanging.

4.5 ⭐️
Steam: 1.5/5
Strong Language: 2/5
Characters: 5/5
Plot: 4.25/5

The Season by Elisha Kemp is book one in the Endless Winter series. The books need to be read in order for maximum enjoyment.

Lily is a native of Hawaii who is struggling with the confines of her life. She decides to travel to Utah and see if she can make it as a snowboarding instructor for the season. She ends up rooming with a group of guys who work at on the mountain with her in various jobs. This provides her with an opportunity to not only test her self-reliance but also explore what she wants out life in personal relationships.

The guys from this book have a wide range of backgrounds, personalities, and sexual identities but the one thing they do have in common is their love for Lily - in whatever unique form it may come in. She is a ray of light in their lives. This sometimes causes jealousy but usually harmony amongst them. She is a focal point for this group.

This is a very slow burn novel. It is character driven and Elisha Kemp really delivers in this area. You don’t miss the insta-lust (although some of the characters are definitely smitten early) because the plot is well written and the diverse and incredibly interesting characters keep you engaged in the story. I can’t wait for book two. Kudos to the respectful and informed portrayal of characters of multiple sexual identities.

This book had me hooked from the first chapter and now I am so invested in these characters! I adore the FMC, Lily, who is just a young woman looking for her place in life after dismissing a life of controlled privilege. Along with some internal soul searching, there are some really great discussions about sexuality and understanding. This book also has a lot of really interesting pieces of culture scattered throughout (French, French Canadian, Japanese, New Zealand, and Hawaiian), which is something I can always count on in Elisha’s books.

All of the MMCs are unique and have their own distinct backstories and personalities, making it easy to keep them apart from each other. This is definitely important when the FMC has five love interests.

If you’re familiar with Elisha Kemp’s other works, then you know what to expect in terms of her slow burn to smut highway, if not, let me say that while this book had some spicy moments, I know the best is yet to come! The slow burn works so well because it is authentic to the FMC and her demisexuality, but it is also just achingly satisfying.

Seriously, romance and slow burn of this book feels so soft and genuine. I think Elisha really went above and beyond to write demisexuality and asexuality in a way that is both informative and empathetic. I have a serious soft sport for Seth, the ACE/panromantic character. I adored his inner monologue about his hopes and dreams regarding his future family. I found him to be so relatable and genuine and I hope he gets the HEA that he dreams of.

I am absolutely feral for the next book and definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys polyam/why choose, sports romance, and books that have a lot of heart. I will be eagerly awaiting to see what happens next!

Oh man. Ok. I haven’t read a book with an FMC is a very long time. This book is also a why choose romance, which historically always seem like the romances are very rushed and so I don’t usually care enough about the characters to actually care about the romance. However, this book had some great Rep shown in the descriptions, so I figured I would look past my initial worries, and give this book a shot. I’m so glad I did.

Elisha does an incredible job of getting the reader into each of the characters heads! There are 6 main characters. 6! That’s quite a bit to get to know, and this is basically the first half of the book. You spend that time getting glimpses of each characters pasts, their worries, their hopes, what scares them, what motivates them. So much so that you get to know these characters almost like friends. The romance also builds quite organically. I was so pleasantly surprised by the time spent getting to know the characters that when the romance heats up, I was fully invested.

The real can’t look away, can’t put the book down, nobody talk to me stuff happened in the last 25% or so. Even at the end, I feel like this is just the beginning. The groundwork laid out here is very thorough, and to say I am excited for The Mountain is an understatement. I NEED IT. I have to know how things develop from here! I adore these characters!

I love each of these characters, but I need to give a special shout out to Seth. He is a sweet baby Angel and I adore him. ❤️

"I might not have much, but for the first time in my life, I won't have to answer to anyone." - Lily

Lily is about to trade in paradise for the snowy ski village in Utah. Hawai'i for Utah?! Paradise just doesn't seem like it when the island becomes very small because of an ex and past regrets. She decides to do something about it and makes a decision for herself! The snowy mountains call to her like the sea calls to others.

But shortly after arriving in the village she quickly begins to understand the gravity of things. Right down to having no other option than to share a condo with six other people! Will she turn tail and run home in defeat? Or will she be able to adapt and find her true freedom? It's just for one season, she can do this, right. . ?

"Hopefully, a season will be long enough to undo everything I’ve done wrong." - Lily

I could relate to Lily in so many different ways! She's tired of following everyone else's narrative for her life and decides to do something against the grain. Packing up and going to Utah for the winter season in hopes of finding more. Lily is unsure about the circumstances surrounding the overpriced ski village but she's trusting her gut! Even if that includes moving into a condo that's already overcrowded.

I really loved Lily's growth and her fighting spirit. Not backing down to anything including bullheaded "men" who wanted to knock her down a few pegs. . . She's taking control back for her life and not allowing anyone to stand in her way. But she may learn that it is okay to lean on others for help every once in a while.

Elisha really captured the magic of being on the snow and riding. I was so lost in the descriptions of the MCs skiing or snowboarding down the slopes I forgot how to breath a couple of times. You're really able to understand the beauty and horror of being on the snow. Some of the MCs are ski/snowboard instructors who go over both good and bad things about the sport. There are also some backstories with injuries that are really intense.

One thing that really draws me into Elisha's works is her characters. This book is a "why choose" romance and I love all of the guys! The author really helps to showcase the different personalities of the guys and just how unique they really are. I love getting to figure out how they will all eventually fit together before the MCs do. The banter between all of the guys is fantastic and had me laughing in several places!

Loved the organic feeling of the group in general. How not all of the guys are insta in love with Lily and even have to warm up to the idea of being near each other. Multiple POVs helping to really see the struggles! There are feelings of jealousy and emotions the MCs will have to work through. Lily also has some reservations about things. We get different representations of the LGBTQ+ community with this read! One of them being an Ace! There's also a golden retriever character!

Be sure to read the trigger warnings before you dive into the book! Language is present along with bloodshed and violence. Some of the characters backstories and homelives that are intense. There's a scene driving on ice and snow that may have some feeling tense after reading. An attempted SA that was stopped! One of the MCs is an ex-Marine and has a couple of scenes with PTSD.

With this book we get a lot of sexual tension! It's a slow build as the characters navigate through things. Some even questioning their stance on their sexualities. We do get a steamy MFM scene but no full course meal just yet. There are a couple of teases with MM action and MF action. We have second chance romances, forced proximity, student x instructor, and more!

This book had me feeling so many different ways and relating to a lot of the characters. I love Elisha's books and just the raw emotions you feel through the characters. Whether they are good or bad emotions. Absolutely enjoy the writing style and the descriptions of everything! This series is going to be another one I am going to be sad when the final book is read! The book does end on a cliffhanger, but it is a gentler one. I am excited for the next installment and where things are going to go!

Enjoy the snowy read with romance and chaos! Don't forget to give the author some stars!

Thank you so much for sending me an ARC @elisha.kemp ♥️

I love everything about this book! I completely fell in love with Lily and her guys (although one had to WORK for it, but by the end he grew on me 😉). They are all written with such care, each has a deep backstory. Like seriously, these guys have so much baggage that they need a bigger condo 😂 From the beginning they have an unspoken respect for each other (except freakin Tom, go step on a lego Tom) and they look out for each other like a family, even though they’re strangers.

Lily is trying to figure out some things about herself and her sexuality and her guys are SO SUPPORTIVE as she works out what she wants. At the beginning of the book, nonmonogamy and the idea of it plays a negative role in Lily's life. Her ex-boyfriend used it as a way to cheat on her and manipulate her emotions, causing Lily to see nonmonogamy in a negative way. Throughout the book, Lily's guys help her understand that it's a "hate the player, not the game" kind of thing. She realizes that her ex was the one with the problem, not her and that it's ok to want what you want - even if that means 5 guys. With that, nonmonogamy goes from the enemy to her ally.

LIAM-
The grouchy retired Olympian who coaches Lily and Matty as they work to get their instructor certification. He definitely has some old beef with Antoine 👀 His feelings for Lily gradually develop over time, going from protectiveness, to respect, to interest😉

ANTOINE-
Oxford drop-out who moves to Utah to be an instructor for a fresh start. Met Liam a few years ago at a club in Paris 🤔 Would rather be reading than literally anything else. Is a ski instructor for kids under 10.

SETH-
The caretaker of the group. Seth's love language is quality time and acts of service and loves cooking for his roommates. His family life back home is a little rocky but he is the BEST big brother. Works in the rental shop at the resort.

EDDIE-
5ft 7in of pure chaos. Hates American drinking laws and is a little rough around the edges, but loves kids and teaching them to ski. It took me a while to warm up to Eddie, but by the end he won me over.

MATTY-Working through some PTSD. He's hot but doesn't quite know what to do with that. He has a crush on Lily from the beginning but takes the tentative approach when it comes to pursuing her. He is in the same ski group as Lily, taught by Liam, working for their snowboarding instructor certification.

In true Elisha Kemp fashion, being the first book in the series, this one has a nice sweet slow burn. I appreciate that she takes the time for her characters to bond and get to know one another. While there may be some cases of instant-attraction in this poly-cule, Lily takes the time to get to know her guys on a deeper, more emotional level, especially as she discovers her own sexuality.

One thing I absolutely love about Elisha’s books is that she takes care of her readers. She loves what she writes and wants her readers to love it as much as she does, so she books include resources for her readers. With prefaces a the beginning and glossaries at the end, she makes sure her readers get the most out of her books and it is SO APPRECIATED.

I also love how she wrote the winter-sports aspect as if her readers were right there taking lessons with Matty and Lily. I have never been on a snowboard or set of skis in my life and I felt like I understood everything in this book. There wasn’t a single time where I felt left behind because I knew nothing about this sport.

Make sure to check TW and CW for this one. Nothing is super explicit on page (save for one spicy scene 🥵) but there are mentions of things that happened in the past or things that were attempted in present day.

This leaves off on a mild cliffy but MAN I AM ITCHING to know what happens next. I literally stayed up late the night I finished this book because my mind was REELING thinking about everything that will/may happen next 🤯

This book just hits in all the best ways!! I loved every bit of it! This is a super slow burn as Lily learns about herself and her sexuality, as she learns how to think about herself and what she wants, to stop trying to be all for everyone else and live for herself. The tension is low angst though and when the spice starts to kick in, it’s super steamy (no s3x yet though, FYI)! Elisha does MM and multiples fabulously and I can’t wait to see where this goes next.

The range of representation among the MCs is refreshing and very intriguing. I loved meeting each of the guys and how their role fits into the whole MMMMMF blend. Matty is a vet and guy next door with a traumatic and sheltered past. Seth is caring and a people pleaser who wants and loves wholeheartedly. Eddie is brusque and the jokester who struggles with his emotions and is hard on himself when things don’t go as planned. Antoine is quiet and passionate, educated, a bookworm with wanting to hide behind pages while struggling with his feelings and possible bi-awakening. Liam is all assholeitude and cockiness who puts on a front but is drawn to a past flame and of course his new flatmate. The interactions between one another are gritty at times, swoon-worthy, emotional, and I didn’t want to put it down. I loved the sports backdrop as it was a perfect compliment to the plot. I also wanted to throat punch another certain roommate (iykyk)!

Elisha’s writing is smooth and grips you from the beginning and holds you tightly to the end! This book does end on a mild cliffy setting up what is to come in Book 2. Thanks for having me on your team and I can’t wait for more!!

4.5 stars for me, off to an amazing start and definitely am getting ready to go buy the next book in the series! This has got to be one of the more unique poly romances I have read - the ace rep is off the charts!

In this book, we have Lily, who lives in Hawaii and is coming to teach at a ski resort for a winter season. Being tight on funds, she accepts a housing offer that winds up being shared with 6 other guys - hello nightmare LOL. But as she gets to know them, most all of them are super great guys! (One's trash lol)

We have Matty, who has a military background and his definitely a big guy, but a complete softie and so sweet with Lily.

Then we have Liam, who is one of the instructors at the resort and helped hire many of the people living there. We learn that he had a past with Antoine when they were both much younger and Liam was still in his Olympics track.

Then we have Eddie, who is definitely the grumpy grump of the group LOL. I think there is a lot more we will get to know about him in the next book.

And then we have Seth, my ace boy - who just might be the closest to my own representation that I think I have ever seen in a book. And I just adore him, and how he's already dreaming of a future where he's included with Lily and Liam and Antoine.

I am definitely eager to read more with this group of characters, so many different interesting dynamics and types of characters all living under one roof and trying to navigate a growing poly relationship. I really, really enjoyed this one!

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

What a swoony book 😍😍😍

I felt like I was reading this with heart eyes throughout. It had me snort-laughing at times, tearing up at others. I could tell the author cared about each character and representing their individual journeys. She was also very knowledgeable about skiing and snowboarding culture, and this was evident in her writing.

This story is a slow-burn romance and is mostly focused on the foundations of each connection and building trust and deeper feelings over time.

And what a ride it is to watch these characters from all across the world (🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇦🇫🇷🇳🇿🇳🇿) come together and try to figure things out, while living in a tiny apartment with only one bathroom.

Lily was the most endearing FMC. She’s so accepting of others while trying to find herself.
Then, Eddie and Liam, my grumpy Kiwis, had me swooning when their sweet, gooey hearts showed through the cracks of their tough masks.
Matty, the kindest himbo with a heart of gold. Can’t wait to watch his character develop even more in book 2.
Antoine with his sexy French accent and love for sci-fi MM romance—do not underestimate him!
And our caretaker, Seth, the first ace character I’ve seen represented in a poly book. So many layers to him that I can’t wait to unravel.

I honestly started caring for each character so deeply that I DMed Elisha the moment I finished the book to ask for her publishing schedule. I can’t wait to continue this journey.

“The Season” is book one in the “Endless Winter” series and I was fully engrossed in this juicy and complicated mess of a relationship building going on! I can honestly say I have rarely loved a book mostly focused on the relationships so much. It’s like watching a more dramatic version of Friends, with only one woman and all of them living together in a cramped apartment with a single bathroom…

I always appreciate authors representing the LGBTQ+ community in their books, and I love the direction the author took with this series. It’s the first time, for me, to see an ace character included into the harem, but also to see so many differences in past experience, clear view on their orientation, … It makes it complex, but also very realistic and relatable. With six main characters, the author managed to give them all a very clear personality, and I love how different they all are. There is someone to love for everyone… Personally, I really love Antoine and his love for spicy MM romance, but they all have something likable to them.

“The Season” is a very different book, compared to this authors previous series, and still it’s clear to see her personal style breathing through it. I can definitely recommend it if you like contemporary reverse harem series, but also: if you loved her first series, I believe you’ll like this as well.

The Season is a slow/medium burn romance (some characters fall harder and faster than others) with an uncomplicated but engaging plot and some angsty scenes and characters. This first book in the Endless Winter series introduces the main characters as they develop their relationships and enter into larger conflicts. I love how adept Kemp is at writing, diverse characters! All characters identify as a mix of sexualities and ethnicities. The main characters are from all over (including Hawai’i, France, New Zealand, and Canada) and include a variety of sexual and romantic identities (bisexual, pansexual, asexual, and demisexual are the few that have been confirmed so far). Only some of the characters are confident in their sexual and romantic identities in book one, so I am excited to see how the characters grow.

I believe this is Kemp's first contemporary romance, but it doesn’t read like her first foray into the genre. If you read her Dying Gods series (and I highly recommend you do if you haven't) and want more romance, I think you’ll like this book. If you liked the intricate plot and fantastical elements, I think you’ll still like this book. Even though it’s not a fast-paced, high-stakes, save-the-world read, the character-driven drama drew me in. The snowboarding and skiing scenes were beautifully described, and as someone who is a snow and winter sports novice, Kemp’s writing makes it easy to pick up the lingo and follow along.

The Season was a fun contemporary romance I had a blast reading, but at times, I was looking for a little more conflict balance throughout the story. The main conflicts occur at the beginning and the end. While there was plenty of romantic tension, outside conflicts were only hinted at until they exploded at the end. The Season is primarily a romance book with a hint of a coming-of-age story for the FMC. The romance for all characters is mostly slow burn but worth the wait. There was a lot of POV switching because there were so many main characters. But it's easier to understand each character's motivations and development that way.

The ending of book one is happy for now for the roommates and leaves a bit of a cliffhanger about certain events and backstories. Overall, it was a satisfying ending to the beginning of this series. I can’t wait to read the sequel!

Rebelling from her parents’ wants and desires for her future? Maybe, Lily needed one season...one winter in Utah without her parents' bank account backing her. A chance for her to try to find herself…on her terms.
She wasn't looking for love, NO! She needed an escape from her broken heart and the friends she kissed but nothing more developed. She feels broken and guilty for not feeling anything for the good people in her life who care so much for her.
She made it to Utah with her hand-me-down jacket and secondhand snowboard determined to make this the best season ever as a snowboarding instructor. She needed to find a place to live, but she was not expecting to wind up in a small condo with 6 other people. Talk about tight quarters.
Enter Matty, Eddie, Liam, Antoine, and Seth acquaintances with nothing more in common than a shared living space until Lily comes crashing into their worlds. Forcing them all to awaken to their feelings and open up to each other.
Go on a journey and self-discovery and develop an emotional attachment to each character as Lily navigates through the Season!
What a great opening book to this series! Elisha has such a gift for character development. I devoured this book and had to force myself at times to slow down my reading to savor the content. I am beyond excited to see where this goes for each character!

Love love love this new series. As always the first book catches your attention, pulls you along from the first to the last page, and leaves you wanting more. One can not help falling in love with the sun kissed Hawai’ian Lily as she takes a one way ticket from the warm beaches to the snowy mountain top ski resort in Utah. Leaving friends and family behind as she starts the long journey of “who am I” and “what do I want?” of life. Making new friends, learning new things, the good and bad experiences, and discovery of who she is. A very low key cliffy that leaves you wanting more while being in a low key way that saves you from tossing your device and flipping tables. A binge worthy read that one will need to dedicate a day to due to length.

This book was very unexpected because I didn’t realize I was going to love it and enjoy it this much!!

Sometimes, I like going into books without too much information and it was the right call with this one.

It was such an easy read and I’ve never read a sports romance about snowboarding so it was something new!!

I loved all the characters expect a certain someone who shall not be named.

The boys were all adorable but I’m excited to see them grow in the next book. Lily was such a cute FMC and I love how determined she is in such a masculine sport. She’s a big slay!!

Matty is so wholesome and throughout the book I just wanted to protect him even though he’s a giant.

I couldn’t recommend this book anymore!!

Love, love, love this book!
The character development is wonderful. They are each uniquely different and Lily is an amazing female lead. They draw you in so quickly, I couldn’t put this book down!
Gritty, heartfelt and contemporary. I haven’t read a book set on the snow before and you really connect with the Author’s love for this world, living vicariously through the characters.
Really inclusive and informative exploring sexual orientations, some I’d never heard of, and am so glad I know about now!
Couldn’t put it down and am so excited to see where Elisha takes us in the next book in the Endless Winter Series

This book is so good! I read it all in a day and couldn’t put it down.

I loved Lily and the guys and it was refreshing to read a book where things developed naturally and you could see the push and pull between everyone. It was great to read about guys who are just as insecure about being wanted as Lily was.

I enjoyed reading about the different sexualities within the group and learning how they affect everyone and what difficulties can be faced when dealing with this.

Overall a great read and I can’t wait for the next book to find out more about their story.

So this is the first book in a new RH series by Elisha Kemp. This book is very different from her dying Gods series as it’s set in contemporary setting.

This book starts out with the main FMC Lily who is unhappy with her life in Hawaii and has decided to try and become a snow board instructor in Idaho for “the season.” There she meets Matty who is a fellow trainee trying to earn his instructor certification. Matty is sweet and a protector. Their instructor Liam (former Olympic medalist) is grumpy but here is something about him. Lily is then introduced to Seth, Eddie Tom and Antoine because they end up all becoming roommates with Lily, Matty and Liam. Some of the boys have pasts with each other that make you want to keep guessing and reading. Tom is a @!&/@.

I don’t want to spoil it for you. This book was great. It had grit, snarky dialogue between characters, laugh out loud moment, sweet moments and red hot anger moments. This books is definitely LBGTQ+ friendly and their are a lot of social dynamics. There is one scene that I would consider a trigger but it’s at the end of the book. This book has multiple points of view which is always a plus in my opinion. It ends a slight cliffhanger and makes me excited to read book 2.

Reading this first book in a new series by Elisha Kemp solidified one thing for me. Anything she writes I will read. This is a why choose series just like her last one. I really enjoyed how developed the characters are and unlike a lot of other books we get that are more sports romance it is nice to see that it this doesn’t revolve around hockey, football or baseball. This is definitely a book you are going to want to check the authors note for the TWs. This is a book that has a good amount of representation when it comes to the LGTBQIA+. I can’t wait for the next book!

It’s was a different book Than I usually read, but I loved it so much. The author did a great job of making you fall in love with the main characters and their flaws. I’m assuming it’s going to be a reverse harem from the ways things were going, but it ended on a major cliff hanger in that department. That being said I can’t wait for the next book!

I gotta say, I'm not a sports girl so I was a little skeptical about a book on snowboarding but my doubts were all erased within the first chapter. I absolutely loved this book and the next one can't come fast enough! Lily is a great FMC and the guys are just swoon. More than anything, I thought the characters were so relatable and they felt very real to me. Also, I can't not mention the wide array of LGBTQ+ representations. This really warmed my heart because representation matters and it was really well integrated in The Season.

This is a really interesting look into sexuality and identity, how expectations and our experiences shape us.
This does deal with ptsd for some of the characters from varying experiences too.
(Check for theme warnings in this too, there isn’t anything graphic but there are allusions and discussions that some may find sensitive)
Elisha kemp has woven a tale about people.
And it is her ability to make these characters feel so real that kept me reading.
This has a little spice, but I wouldn’t read it as a RH but definitely more of an exploration of polyamorous relationships

The Season by Elisha Kemp is the first in the Endless Winter Series. We meet Lily, a young lady who lives in Hawai'i. She realizes she needs to get out and do her. She goes to Utah to learn to become a snowboarding instructor. She ends up moving into a small apartment with six guys. Such a sweet RH story. I just love Matty. He's just a sweetie. Some TW to watch out for. That part near the end - I hope Tom gets what's coming! Looking forward to the next.

Such a great read!
This is the kind of book that gives you butterflies all the way through!
The tension builds between the characters beautifully.
The main male characters are all totally different, with complex back history, which only parts have been revealed so far.
It's an incredibly well written RH and I can't wait for the next in the series!

I haven’t never read a story like this before, set in the snowy mountains Utah, following resort ski and snowboard workers and instructors. I loved watching Lily develop relationships with the guys in her apartment and come into her own as an instructor. Definitely slow burn but I’m anticipating some goooood spicy scenes later!
