For Eternity is another beautiful book by Cardinal Sarah through which he shows his love and devotion to the priests and seminarians of the Church. Each chapter has an introduction, an excerpt of writings by saints, theologians, or Popes, and a meditation by Cardinal Sarah. His meditations are emanations of his intense spiritual life, and one cannot read them without gaining a better understanding, respect, and appreciation for the goodness and importance of the priesthood that God has given the Church. I hope many priests and seminarians will read this book and be encouraged in their vocation and strive imitate Christ’s example of sacrificing himself for the Church.

This book is really incredible and needed at this time.
Cardinal Sarah pulls from the Tradition of the Church, from Saints and Popes, to highlight the nature and life of a priest. In each chapter, he includes an excerpt from a saint or pope about priesthood, and then he reflects on this, applying it to modern day.
This is a must read for all priests and especially seminarians.

Cardinal Sarah is always full of wisdom, and his sanctity is seen in his writing. As a seminarian, I got so much out of this book. It was phenomenal. Seminarians and priests everywhere ought to read this magnificent book.
