Ash (h) and Dodge (H) seemed to hit it off month earlier though neither acted on their feelings – she thought he wasn’t interested since she was pregnant by her ex and he thought their age gap stood in their way. When her ex shows up and starts threatening her, Dodge convinces her to move in with him and they rekindle their hot and steamy connection. Sweet age gap, mountain man romance with a bit of danger and plenty of heat.

The story started in the middle, but you won’t be lost. The MMC was so sweet, and the things he did and would do for the FMC.

He says he is a D and she a S but this is not a dark romance. He just loves giving her orders.

Part of the Waylon Family Ranch (Rugged Mountain Ink) series each can be read as a standalone in under an hour or connecting via characters so with a sexy cowboy and the women in need of help from him. Ash is living with an abusive man trying her best to get away from him but being pregnant is making it harder to get away from him and when she goes to the one man who can protect her. Dodge sexy as all get out cowboy pat of the Waylon family, hard worker, fierce protector and meeting the sweet but way to young women that makes his heart beat a little faster than usual. The attraction between the two is instant, it was intense, and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored no matter how hard he tries not because he doesn’t want her but because he is so much holder than her however, she thinks it is because she is pregnant. But it doesn’t stop her from running to him for protection and that is all it takes for him to accept what they both know is something more than just an attraction and he will do what needs to be done to protect her and their …yep their baby but can he keep her ex. away from her, will they admit what is brewing between them is serious, and is it their turn to find happiness?

When I was introduced to Ash and Dodge in an earlier book, this wasn’t how I expected their story to go but I definitely enjoyed it. It was surprising to find that Dodge is interested in a Dom/sub bedroom environment and that Ash wants to call him Daddy. Originally I wasn’t sure if it matched with my mental picture of him, but as the book went on I realized that it matched him perfectly. There’s a lot going on in this book but it all comes together in an interesting story. Ash’s baby daddy is going to cause drama, Dodge wants to be her hero, Ash is alone in life, and Dodge is worried about their age gap. I loved how giving birth was included in the book including water break and home birth. There is also some lactation included that was unexpectedly hot. Dodge really checked all the boxes including a couple of boxes I didn’t know I had! There is tons to love about him and being with Ash brings out the best in both of them.

I loved Secret Baby for the Mountain Man: Waylon Family Ranch. Ash was trying to do the right thing and let the father know, she didn’t know he would turn psycho. Dodge shouldn’t have pushed Ash away but he thought their age gap was too much. When this man starts going after Ash he won’t stand for it and he will do anything to protect Ash and their child because they will both be his. This was a sweet storyline and I love the characters. I love how the stories all intertwine. I wink’s definitely recommend this book and the series.

Secret Baby for the Mountain Man is the eighth book in the Waylon Family Ranch (Rugged Mountain Ink) series. Ashley is nine months pregnant and all alone. Her baby daddy is the biggest azzhat you can imagine and so Dodge steps in to defend her from him when things turn bad as she is trying to talk with him. Ash and Dodge had met and sort of started something months ago. But when he thought she was too young he stepped away. But now he is ready to step up and into the role of protect and lover. Things can only get hot and smexy from there.

Ash is pregnant by a real jerk of an ex. Dodge is a protector who is ready for built-in family. He's concerned because of the big age gap though. Ash is not worried about the age difference and with a problematic ex hanging around decides to receive Dodge's offer of protection and a safe place to live for a while.

Dodge is just a big softie (outside the bedroom) who just wants to love and protect Ash and her child.

I absolutely loved this story of Ash and Dodge. He thinks he is too old for her and even though they have feelings for each other, he doesn't act on them. She's pregnant by her ex who turns out to be a dangerous man and starts threatening her. Ash turns to the one man she knows will help her, Dodge. Since she is 9 months along when she goes to him for help, we don't get any s3x scenes until after the baby is born but don't be fooled. There is still plenty of steam to heat up the pages. I loved this story and couldn't put it down! Bet you can't either!

This is part the Rugged Mountain Ink series and this story is as amazing as the rest. This story is about Ash and Dodge. Ash is pregnant and being threatened by someone from her past. Dodge is there to help out and he will do anything for her. She has been in love with him she has known him but with everything is going she does not want him to get hurt, There is drama, danger, love and a chemistry that you root for them both. Its a fantastic story. You going to love it.

Ash thought she had a connection with Dodge last summer but she has not heard from him since. When her baby daddy comes around starting trouble, Dodge is there to step in. He does not seem to care she is pregnant by someone else. But going to his house is just going break her heart in the end.

Dodge knows he has to step when that man threatens Ash. He has tried to stay away as he is too old for her. It is slowing becoming evident there is no way he can let her go.

In this book we meet Ash & Dodge. After a one night stand result in a pregnancy. Ash figures she should tell the father of the baby that she is pregnant. The problem with this is he is a jerk about it all. When Dodge helps her get home and even more things happen to Ash there is no way he is leaving her there. Can they find a HEA or will the baby daddy make sure that never happens?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I think this might be my next fave book in the Rugged Mountain series since Cami and Henry's story that kicked it all off. Maybe it's just watching these incredibly rugged men taking over for the deadbeat losers who managed to con a girl long enough to get her knocked up. Watching these burly men step into the daddy role is sexy as can be.

An exciting read as Dodge rescues Ashley from her douchbag of an ex with more than a questionable background. He leaves his friend, Hawk to protect Ashley while he goes to make sure the ex stays away. Poor Hawk got more than he bargained for when Ashley went into labor, and the baby was not waiting for no one. A super fun story.

This is not a long book but it is an amazing read. You get the backstory you need for everything to make sense. I love how intense the characters are. There is miscommunication and assumptions that stand in the way of something beautiful. Add to that some super craziness plus some ‘extra’ surprise and you have an wonderful adventure to go on that will leave you smiling and salivating for more from this author.
