I picked up this book because it had more information on sites in southern Utah such as Leeds and Hurricane which I found very interesting. There are several sites I want to get to as soon as the weather cools a little. The nice thing about this book besides maps it also shows some photos of the site which helps. It also shows pictures of rock at the site. Of course the better know sites are usually well picked over but this book helped me in nearby areas not shown in the book and what might be found at those alternate sites.

Great guide to good rock hounding places. I took a great trip to find Wonderstone by Vernon, geodes in the dugway geode beds, Topaz Mountain and ended the day at the Trilobite quarries southwest of Delta (not in the book.) It is just slightly dated as of 2011 but the sites are still there!

The map was not even close to true, but once I figured out how it was organized, I could navigate the book easily.
