This was quite a fun read, but it didn’t really sit well with me, I don’t know why, but I’d hoped for more erotica and less angst.

Fun Story Hoping for more Romance in Future Volumes

It was an enjoyable story until his son and the son’s girlfriend proposed the idea that he basically acts as her sex toy while she then goes back and stays in a relationship with his son. If she’s not going to be in an exclusive relationship with just the dad, that totally ruins the idea that this is a harem story. I hope he doesn’t agree to it. Also, I hope that in later volumes there is some romance to this rather than just “f*cking” all the time. The writing is good and the characters are interesting, but the idea that the MC will basically sexually satisfy his sons girlfriend then she’ll go back to the son, is crap to me. I don’t like any of the women the MC sleeps with to not be in an exclusive relationship with him when the story is pitched as a harem story - that includes romantic and sexual exclusivity. So I really hope the MC declines the son’s offer or just takes her for himself. Otherwise, a fun story.

I am conflicted on this one. The backstory was the interesting part and the erotica part wasn't very good. Usually it is the other way around. 42 year old man is coming back to the cabin that he goes to every year. Last year at the cabin on his birthday, his wife told him she wanted a divorce. She left and him and didn't speak to him since then. His son also has been pretty distant during that time and he was hoping that he could reconnect at the cabin this year. He doesn't know what happened with his marriage or his son. He was lost and spent the last year working out and improving himself. At the cabin, women start to notice him. The young girl at the grocery store. He flirts with her pretty heavy. He goes to the lake and ends up skinny dipping and finds a 20 year old woman there skinny dipping as well. He knows her. It is one of his sons friends that grew up around here. She admits that she always had a crush on him. They hang out and they end up having sex. Her mother died a few years ago and she was in a bad place. They end up hooking up quite often. He makes her call him Daddy when they are in bed. That is his kink which his ex-wife never liked. The sex isn't written well. The author would right that the MC would pound her f**khole. Yeah, not the most erotic thing to say. At the end of the story the son shows up and says he needs a favor from his father. He has been depressed since the divorce and has been taking SSRIs. Because of this he can't have sex with his GF and she has needs. They want him to service her.

Coed ain’t completely accurate

Just under a hunter pages of an actual realist harem building for a 40 year old guy even if it uses to overly sexual energy to make the protagonist more handsome in porno way.

So far the best

I have only read one of the authors other series and I really liked it. Although this is only the first book in this series I think I like this one even better. Maybe because I can relate better to the MC. Can't wait for the next book.

Nice job of developing the characters and story

The characters are easy to relate to and the main character has an all too familiar problem. The author does an excellent job of redeveloping bonds from previous life positions. Very effective writing.

A great series!

I honestly really enjoy all of these book, it was well written and thought out. It was an engaging plot. I hope for more.
