Overall, I really liked this story. The characters are likable and it moved well. I did feel like because they were sneaking around so much, it was a little lighter on the relationship development and heavier on the smexy times. Not necessarily a bad thing, lol, just not what I prefer :)
I also want to mention, while it didn't affect my rating, these books still struggle with editing issues with some typos, grammar mistakes, and idiomatic errors as well. Its too bad, because it is distracting at times.

Off Limits…
The MC has rules for a reason but sometimes rules are meant to be broken. Gears is a young 21 year old with an old soul. He’s seen things that have made him grow up faster then he should have. He’s a prospect for the MC biding his time until he gets patched in to be a full member. When a club members sister catches his eye he knows she’s off limits and comes up with a way to bend the rules.
Amelia is 26 years old and her two brothers are members of the MC, they also drive her crazy with their protectiveness. When Gears helps her out one night when her car is broken down she sees him. She sees his potential and even though he’s much younger then her she can’t stop the connection she feels for him.
These two were hot, hot, hot! Gears and his dirty straight talk could sweep any woman off their feet. When he sets his sights on Amelia he knows he’s going to be breaking the rules because she’s worth it.
There were a few twists and turns that you don’t see coming. Family found in the MC gives Gears a whole new look on life.
Lots to unpack and to sort out. Which will lead us into the next book about Knox, a member’s newly found brother.

The author writes her characters so well that you won’t stop yourself from falling for them or admiring them in a way. Her characters are super hot and handsome and beautiful and here Gears and Amelia are the ones. They are defined so well with so much shit in their past that getting on with their lives is hard individually but when they connect the fireworks come into play. The chemistry between them is intense and off the charts, an instant connection is there which they ignore at their bests. The twists and turns in the story are entertaining and their banter is to die for. Amelia with Gears is totally different from what she is when she’s alone. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Im sitting here in shock trying to remember if I was given a heads-up on this ending. I will be sad when this series ends. Now about the book, I loved it like I have the others in this series. I have loved Amelia since her brother's books. I loved watching her grow in this book. She is nothing like her brothers, Brock and Axton. Jake, Gears, story broke my heart. That boy had been through so much but was still standing. They both knew the rules but still broke them. These two were so compatible that you felt it. Their chemistry was perfect. I found the only downfall was the reminder that she was older than him. Did it take away from the book no because as you can tell that ending has me speechless.

I really enjoyed this MC book about Gears & Amelia. When I normally read about MC books, it's always about blood, sweet butts, & hard @$$es... But with this book, it showed more of Gears personality and I really loved how he was portrayed. He was a "touch her & you die" guy, but not to the point where he was psychotic and just unruly. This book is a really great read, I couldn't put it down.

There are more than one shocking revelation come to light. I can’t wait to read about Cash and Deanna!! Been waiting for them for a while now.

However Gears has a past that is about to come back with a vengeance. This is what stops him for ever thinking that he and Amelia can ever be more than just a big old secret. He will never be enough for Amelia in his mind. I have to stop talking about the story or I am going to say something that I do not need to say. I loved these characters and I really loved witnessing the growth in Gears as this book goes on. He is really going to steal your heart. He and Amelia are pure fire and you are not going to want to lay this book down.

WOW 🤩 !! Where do I even start to explain how this book is now one of my top ten MC books. Gears is the second book I read from this author but the very first MC book from her and let me tell you she did not disappoint.
I love ❤️ MC trope books where the male character is a possessive dirty talking alpha in and out of the bedroom who might or might not have a Jacob Ladder piercing. And let me tell you that Gears is definitely that and more.

Amelia is a 26 year old independent strong woman. She’s smart, beautiful, sassy, hardworking and flirtatious but only with Gears. She’s like a moth to a flame 🔥. Their connection and chemistry is hot 🥵 consequences be damned.
Mackenzy Fox has done a well job with her characters and well as her supporting characters who give the story a little more.
This book will have you crying 😭, laughing 😂, and definitely getting wet 💦💦. Gears by Mackenzy Fox is full of emotions and there are a few twist and turns that you won’t expect but definitely worth the read and emotional roller coaster 🎢.

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. Another fantastic installment to this MC series I’ve become so engrossed in! Gears, aka Jake, is a prospect to the MC club, meaning all the club ladies are OFF LIMITS.
Amelia, is a club sister, aka, off limits to all prospects.
These two have an insane chemistry between them from day one, neither of which have the strength to deny. What starts off as sneaking around hooking up, turns into something so much more, and neither are willing to walk away. They connect on such a deeper level than just intimately.
Gears has a past that is creeping in on him, and the reason that he believes he can never be more than a secret hookup or enough for Amelia.
Gears is an entirely different man than he portrays himself to be to those around him. His character went through so much growth, my heart was so happy for him.
I loved these two so much. The heat In this was CHEF’S KISS on the Spice-O- meter! 🔥
Mackenzie has a way of stealing your interest and sucking you in from the very first chapter. This series has easily become one of my favorite MC romance series.

DAMN!!!! THAT WAS STEAMY AND HOT!! Gears could melt the panties off anyone!! He’s such a dirty talking, sexy, possessive but sweet young man with a heart of gold. No wonder all the women want him. His story is gritty, suspenseful, emotional and so damn sexy that I had to stop a few times to just cool myself off.
Gears and Amelia’s chemistry was undeniable and the sexual tension between them was so thick you could cut it with a knife. You new that when these two finally gave into the uncontrollable lust and desire pulling them together, it was going to be extremely explosive and there were going to be fireworks!!! They were definitely going to set my kindle on fire!
Fantastic writing that just pulls you in, keeps you riveted to your seat and gripping your kindle tightly trying not to let it combust from all of the heat coming off the pages.
There are some twists and turns that I didn’t see coming but in the end this story left me completely satisfied!!!

First of all I didn’t think I’d be into this with Gears only being 20/21 years old. Young guys never (well, rarely) feel like a man to me in the books. OMFG 🥵🥵🥵🥵 Was I wrong. Gears is so hot it’s just not describable. Amelia is awesome with him. The writing and storyline are awesome. There’s twists that you don’t expect, and the added thrill of sneaking around makes the whole story even hotter. There’s so much going on, and we get to see beloved characters from previous books in the series. I loved every single second of reading this book and only out it down when I was forced to do so…like having to cook, work, and pay attention to me kids. I would have read this straight through- even taking it to the bathroom with me - if I could have done so. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it was just that fabulous and hot, so damn hot.

Gears and Amelia give me life. They are both strong, independent, adventurous, and sassy. I love the chemistry between them and the relationship and trust they built with each other. They both know what they want, and they go after it no matter the cost.
Can we just talk about the spice for a second because, damn, it was hot as hell! And the plot twist, too? I definitely did not expect it, but my heart is so happy!
I love this series and cannot wait for Cash and Deanna’s story. I need it, and I need it now!

I've loved this series so far and this book is no exception. Although it's not my favourite.
I feel like there shouldve been alot more blood, guts and kidnapping as its a mc book. But the love story was definitely a cute one ❤️

And when the absolute fire cracker that is Amelia decides to drop herself into his life he has to question whether to follow his heart or not.
This series is one of my favourites I've read, there are multiple books, all standalones but should be read in order to get the full prospective of the storyline.

Slow Burn 💕 But the Epilogue 😱⁉️
Amelia is the little sister to the club's VP with her sights set on the young Prospect, Gears.
Gears came into the series a bit ago, and is now a Prospect for the Bracken Ridge Rebels and wrapped around Amelia's fingers.

A sort of forbidden love. As Gears is just a prospect to the MC and the lady he is falling for is the sister of the VP and along with that she is older. So it's a no no on many levels but can you fight love? Especially when you're taunted and yet you try to keep away from her. What do you do when you fall for the bad guy but he seems to want nothing to do with you? Well persuade him for sure. That is what you must do. Use all tackticks you can think of. And then life throws in things you didn't expect. I think this is my favorite in this series so far. Loved it!

Gears is a steamy romance for readers 18 + it contains mature themes that may make some readers uncomfortable. It includes violence, mentions of domestic violence and rape (not graphic) coarse language…basically what the Bracken Ridge boys do best! And as always…. LOTS of very spicy love scenes!
THIS BOOK DID NOT DISAPPOINT ME AT ALL! I LOVED THEM SO MUCH! OH MY GAWD! IT WAS SPICY! LOVED IT! WOHOOOOOO!

I'm not usually an MC reader, but the blurb drew me in and I'm glad I decided to ride!
He's a prospect. The ladies are off limits during this time. Especially his VP's sister.

Loved the characters, the spiciness, and the "twist!" So GOOD!

I love Gears and Amelia.
He's a prospect and one of the rules is he does whatever is wanted by the members and sweet***s and little sisters are off limits.
Amelia is the VP, Brock's little sister, and she has a crush on Gears, he thinks she's beautiful and they start to flirt, which leads to ...... but they both know the consequences if caught.
The banter is fantastic and the growth between the characters is wonderful to see .

While I liked the pairing of Amelia and Gears, there was just too much sex. It’s like, we get it, you guys like to have sex, how about some plot movement? It’s too bad because the back stories of both the main characters were interesting. These came to the forefront towards the end of the book, but I wish there had been more focus on the characters as individuals and not just the physical side of their relationship throughout the book. Still a decent read.

Yet another amazing book from Mackenzy. I do love her MC men! Possessive, foul mouthed and loving. The kind of I will destroy the world for you loving.
Gears and Amelia is in the center of this one. Older woman and a younger man.
It can be read as a stand alone but you get so much more out of it if you read the others to.

Gears literally has to be my all time favorite bracken ridge guys!!! I love him! He's is so perfect. And Amelia oof she is my second favorite female! Lucy is still my fave! The spice is next level! And the story is chefs kiss! I could not put this down!! If I could give this more then 5 stars I would it's easily a 10 star ! I'd say the best in the series ! Can't wait to see what's next!!!

I thought the other guys were was hot but omg! Cold shower recommend. Amelia and Gears story is amazing. I love a good reverse age gap. Amelia is a club sister and Gears is a prospect. They both have demons they are fighting. This series is a must read. Each can be read alone but for the best reading pleasure is to read in order.

This book was a fantastic read that grabbed me from the first page all the way till the last. It moves along at a pace that makes for an easy and enjoyable read. It has interesting characters that you want to know better and no matter what happens you will end up loving and a story that will not disappoint and keep you reading until the end. This book needs to be read, no doubt about it.

This book is the hottest one yet! Mackenzy has made me love the reverse age gap and this book didn't disappoint! Gears is such a dirty talking loveable guy and Amelia is sassy without being annoying. I have to say the plot twist was my favorite thing aside from the hot smut and I am so here for the next book!
