Such a darling little book! A bit like 'Little House in the Big Woods' except the main character is a seven year old boy. Little Jonathan has 12 older brothers and sisters... he gets frustrated with constantly being told he is too little to help out. So he sets out to prove he is big enough... resulting in many mishaps and misadventures.
