In this book, I hope I have the courage to be more of myself than I have ever been. I want to share with you all how much I struggle in my own life, with my own self coaching, and my own self doubt. I want you to know how hard I work on my own happiness and how much I think it is worth it. I also want to share the things I have learned that have set me free from my own mind. I want to give you the simple tips that have transformed me and the deepest work that has given me permission to be the fullest expression of who I am.
There is much that is good in this book, just not enough of it. I understand that this is a collection of blog posts for the author’s life coaching practice so it is probably more of a marketing tool that an actual informative book. Some of the chapters are only a few sentences. I was already familiar with the author and her work when I purchased this book, but it did not give me the level of inspiration, information and satisfaction I was expecting. The book also felt like it was primarily aimed at The author’s weight loss clients. Very light and superficial reading.
So much useful information in this gem! I have immediately applied some of the suggestions and phrases. My favorite being "excuse me while I get out of your business." This is one of those books I will always recommend and remember. Thanks for such a uplifting experience!!!!
Brooke has once again given me so much to think about. It’s funny how much easier I can breathe and how much more at peace I feel after drinking in Brooke’s words for a couple of hours. I can’t think of a healthier way to treat myself. Thanks Brooke.
This book has given me a lot of new thoughts on how my mind work and how I can change my life to the better. It has given me tooles I can use in everyday life situations.
Good chunks of info that any breathing human should consider. I will confess that at times I felt like the sections could have been extended but worth the (quick) read.
Brooke Castillo has a unique outlook regarding solving problems. I liked this short self help book very much and will employ some of the practices she suggests.
