Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, Vol. 10 (My Kindle Review)
We continue to see Sakurai figuring out his new relationship with Uzaki during Valentine’s Day and with all the anxiety in him, he decides to takes things slow with her help while fixing his relationship with her father at his gym that also takes an unexpected turn. Ami also find herself with two determined crushes, much to her annoyance.
Later Sakurai makes a date with Uzaki for White Day, a Japanese holiday a month after Valentine’s Day when men give gifts to their significant other. It’s a very smooth date that shows he really cares for her, even when she gets flustered about her height.
We also see Kiri dealing with classmates getting lovestruck for his mom and sisters, and the bonus chapter with Yanagi having an overly-friendly classmate.
More of a 3.5 star rating; Uzaki and Sakurai navigate Valentine’s Day as a couple then Sakurai works towards and eventually executes a really cute White Day date. Seeing him so nervous about being Uzaki’s boyfriend and trying to get comfortable with forms of physical affection after hand holding, was both adorable and hilarious especially since Sakurai is probably never going to get a break from Uzaki’s antics. Something I didn’t like was seeing Kiri’s friends hitting on not only Yanagi, but also his/their mother. I feel like his friends either need to seriously calm down or the boy needs new friends. Also, the little extra chapter about Yanagi and her little friend group was cute to see, and makes me want to see more of her now. Overall though, this was a cute read and I’m curious to see what happens in the next volume.
This volume includes both Valentines Day and White Day issues. And boy o boy, how good they are! The cuteness keeps getting sweeter and sweeter. Not to mention that the relationship between Hana and Shinchi has leveled up too!
The friends of the middle Uzaki sucks big times tho, they are so annoying.
Their relationship has reached a new level with the cute factor at Mach 10. I just can’t get over how sweet this manga has gotten and really look forward for more of these two and their slow but very steady courtship.
