PRODIGIUM: SHADOW STORM RISING

Rate this book
All Janie wants is to live a normal life and fit in… Five years after she lost her father and learned the truth about who—and what—she is, Janie is still plagued by nightmares of the monster who wanted to imprison and use her. She knows the nightmares aren’t real—after all, she saw the monster die. She’s moved on, gone to college, and even received a once-in-a-lifetime offer to travel to Antarctica to research and project the potential effects of a massive deep space geomagnetic storm. But when she’s forced to use her unique abilities to protect an innocent, things go horribly wrong, and everything she’s worked so hard for starts to unravel. She soon finds herself trapped in the frozen desert of Antarctica among enemies who will do anything to further their own agenda. There, her past comes back to haunt her, and she begins to suspect things aren’t what they seem… Can she finally accept who and what she is in order to survive what’s to come?

If she’s so smart with such an amazing memory, how come she didn’t remember it was the president’s body double in the white house? If she and her best friend were so close, why didn’t she tell her the truth instead of risk both of their lives? If Alexander loved her so much, why did he let her go on the expedition alone? Sorry, not buying it! Otherwise, entertaining enough… just lame.
