Goodbye John is a story about a child who grows up with a stuffed animal he bought while at school. The young boy forms a bond with this stuffed animal who he named, John. The bond was reminiscent of what one would consider a best friend to be. As the child ages, he realizes that he can no longer watch over his best friend and makes the tough decision to say goodbye.
