A thorough manifesto on honesty and genuine compassion. An explanation of what Elie Wiesel meant when he wrote, “The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference.”

Conformity ranks among the gravest of vices: a rejection of the self, a denial of humanity’s innate creative faculties, and a betrayal of a society in need of constant constructive criticism and course correction. It is also a reminder to resist what C.S. Lewis called “men without chests”—the comfortable and complacent, the citizens and lovers who drift carelessly through life, taking both liberties and love for granted.
