I loved this book, it was recommended and given to me by a friend. This book had so many twist and turns with Darius and all his past lovers, his family, and his mom and her marriage. Ugh i loved every moment soap opery drama. Awesome read!!
This book came to a sad close. I was surprised by some events that happenned. Darius finally grew up some and is taking responsibilty for his actions. It was slow but pretty good.
if you don't do the right thing how karma can be a big bitch. after having unprotected sex with countless women he was positive that he was HIV positive after recieving a striking phone call from his baby's mama that their son died from HIV complications. that was a lie. his son was alive and healthy. oh how Darius was so happy that he only have a bladder infection.
The end of the series that finds Wellington and Jada at different paths in life. Darius has made some interesting choices and suffered the consequences and hurt many along the way much to his mother, Jada's horror. However, the question asked at the beginning is your soul mate the person you end up spending your life with. Is love enough is revisted? Good book
Once again Mary B. Morrison manages to trap me with her characters. I have to admit that my favorite one is Ashley, because you just never know what kind of crap she is going to pull. I love her as a character, but not to be with Darius, lol. Everyone else is just as amazing, and I love seeing Darius grow into a man instead of playing his foolish games all the time.
This was the closing of the series Soulmates Dissipate. It gave closure to some of our fave characters over the series. It was great to see Darius finally grow the heck up. Jada definitely became her own woman. Side chicks gonna be side chicks so I won't speak on them at all.
I'm glad that this has come to an end. Don't get me wrong, Mary Morrison is one of my favorites and I have enjoyed the Soulmates series...up until this point. This was too good of a series to be rushed to a bad ending. I found When Somebody Loves You Back to be soap-operish. I felt like I was channel surfing instead of reading a book. Dynasty, Knots Landing, Young and the Restless, Desperate Housewives, and ER. Some of the things these characters did were outlandish. Jada needed to sit down. Wellington needed to lie down. Candice needed to be knocked down. Melanie needed to be run down. Ashlee needed to be locked down. And Darius just needed to grow the h*ll up!
It was a quick read, but not page-turning quick. I simply wanted to know what was gonna happen. Again, I'm glad to see this end. May they all rest in peace.
Looking forward to new beginnings with "Sweeter than Honey" and "Dicktation."
Hated it, however I wasn't a fan of Soulmate Dissapate. For a lack of better words and time that I want to dedicate to my feelings....this book was horrible. As we use to say when I was a kid....Just plum dumb.
I gave her a second change however I'm done. I will not read another book by this author. I hate to say that but for me it's a wrap.
Best wishes to those who like this style of writing.
This book was pretty good and it was a quick read. Being that I've read all the previous books in the series, the characters kind of grew on me and I was saddened at the end because one of the main characters passed away. There were also many unexpected surprises in this book as well and I'm glad that Darius has finally seemed to grow up and accept some responsibility.
