I think this is a good resource book to have for those who are just getting started. The author takes a general approach to the logo designing process but also answers the "why" to the design decisions. What I like most is that the book includes the development phases and history of some of our most iconic logos that we see today in modern day, such as Fedex. It is reassuring that it's a good idea to keep all ideas and renditions during the sketching phase.
A phenomenal dive into the world of a graphic designer specializing in brand identities. From client interactions, to pricing, to the creative workflow, Logo Design Love is a wonderful read for any creative looking to start freelancing or a business.
