The Reluctant Bride
Our Reluctant Bride is the polished and, seemingly, demure, Charlotte Lancaster. Although angry that she has no say regarding her pending nuptials, she begins to see the farce for what it is: an opportunity.

The casual, confident, and arrogantly charming Perry Constantine quickly learns his bride-to-be has claws. As a self-proclaimed mama’s boy, this intrigues him immensely.

Adjusting to their new reality, we quickly see the couple has chemistry in spades. However, this installment is about getting to know our couple and their respective families.

I’m anxious for The Ruthless Groom for the wedding day and to see how things play out with the blast from Charlotte’s past.

The Ruthless Groom
What began as a modern day arranged marriage between two powerful families has evolved from a simple alliance to a companionable union with undeniable chemistry bubbling just below the surface.

Yet when their tentative truce is rattled by an oddly-timed visit by Charlotte’s ex-lover, Seamus McTiernan, we see a different, more dominant, oft cruel side of Perry earning him the title of The Ruthless Groom.

Book two of the Wedded Bliss trilogy brings us the marriage and honeymoon of Perry and Charlotte Constantine. We have ups, downs, and drama in spades. While Charlotte shows more of her tenacity in this installment, she is still vulnerable to Perry’s charm.

I’m anxious for The Reckless Union and can’t wait to see if Perry gives good grovel.

The Reckless Union
Turning to Charlotte’s brothers, Grant and Finn, when she’s abducted, Perry is forced to confront his feelings for his new bride.

A product of her upbringing, Charlotte is wary and has suffered from low self-esteem throughout her life. She comes into her own in The Reckless Union and it was good to see.

That said, despite the undeniable chemistry, Perry and Charlotte’s happily ever after was not an easy one. However, Charlotte’s kidnapping paved the way for both considerable character and relationship growth. This also gave us more of the relaxed, happy-go-lucky Perry that we’re all enamored with.

The Wedded Bliss series was another excellent installment in the Midnight Dynasty world. I loved the character appearances from Winston and Ash and am really hoping we’ll see a book for Grant and Alyssa. Even the small interactions were enough to intrigue me!

3.75⭐️ You know what? I actually really liked this one! I know, I am just as surprised!😅
I went into this with low expectations, but after reading Crew’s story, I was really curious about his sister Charlotte, so this has been on my tbr for quite some time!

Even though this was a collection of 3 books, I have read it as one, it felt like it was one long story, which is exactly how I love my books. Long and slow! I want to be able to see their connection slowly evolving into something more. 🤌😌

They were forced into a marriage of convenience and even though they were unwilling at first, soon enough they realized that they could be good for each other.

You know, I really thought that this would be a bully romance because all of the books I have read so far by this author, were bully romances. So you can imagine my surprise when I realized that Perry was the exact opposite of all of her previous mmc’s. He was sweet, kind, patient, understanding and exactly what Charlotte needed, her support system more or less! True, they were both young, immature and insecure at times, it was really obvious that their age played an important role in their behavior, but it didn’t really bother me. It was refreshing to see such a young couple, trying to navigate a difficult situation, trying to make a marriage work, even though it all started out as a farce.

Charlotte was the introverted girl who was the figurative punching bag of her parents, she didn’t have any friends, she was being treated horribly by people close to her, so she was in need of someone she could rely on.
Perry was the party boy, the one who was always a bit reckless and didn’t take life too seriously, because he felt like nothing was expected of him, like he couldn’t amount to much in life. He was basically searching for real meaning in his life, which he found in his little family with Charlotte! So yeah..they completed each other…which I found oddly endearing!

There were times when Charlotte was annoying and frustrating af in book one, the same way Perry was kind of an idiot in book two, but as a whole, I really liked their love story.

Was is predictable? Yep!
Were the characters getting on my nerves from time to time? Again, yes!
Was the plot very complex? Not really!

But despite all that, despite being aware of its many flaws, I found myself enjoying this quite a lot!

Oh, one more thing, I am sick and tired of reading the words husband/wife! 🫨 Like, we get it Monica, they were married! You don’t need to have the mmc call her “his wife” every other sentence! 😒

Its a collection of three books with arranged marriage and possessive hero trope. I actually liked the H and h because none of them were stupid. But, the story was too simple especially because they all this talk about old money and bad alpha men but in reality we get men acting like Male leads of an Indian soap opera.

Stop glorifying abuse in books meant for young girls!

Being protective isn’t telling your love how her dress is wrong. How she should dress.

I can’t even! He acts like some kind of feminist , he is an abuser. Jesus. Who this p***y belongs to? What the….Show the real man, not an incel with peanut sized brain.

Stop writing this, stop destroying minds of girls, stop making money on this.

And also, plot was bad. And get educated on how to not describe a male love interest. Rating is -5 stars.

As a whole it started as a solid three star read and then just became quite boring and repetitive. I also don’t feel the characters are very believable, they’re supposed to be richer than sin.

Book 1
4.25 STARS
Oh, Perry Constantine I simply adore you!
This book happens in the “Midnight Dynasty world” and Perry has been a secondary character in many of the previous books, I loved him in those and I’m thrilled to finally get his story.
(It’s not necessary to read previous books, you won’t be lost. I think it enhances enjoyment if you do though)
This book is an arranged marriage romance, it has a youthful vibe and it’s a bit lighter than the other books in this “world”.
Not to say that I don’t think it’s going to get a bit twisted and dangerous because I absolutely do.
The characters are very likable, I love Perry’s attitude. He goes with the flow but, when he feels it is necessary he does rebel, he’s not actually controlled by his family, he chooses his battles wisely in my opinion.
He’s witty, charming and has a wicked sense of humor. He’s got the bad, rich boy persona but, he is actually nice.
Charlotte is a lonely young woman who had her brief rebellion that ended in heartbreak. She’s controlled and treated poorly by her father so the arranged marriage is a mixed bag for her. She’s snarky, smart and a bit sweet underneath. I look forward to her coming into herself.
I love the banter between them, I love the way they start to work together.
Their chemistry is that great fiery, enemies to possibly more type.
It’s a slow burn, but, when it ignites… it’s super explosive and crazy hot! These two are incredibly sexy together.
The ending brings a shocking twist that happens so fast I think my jaw literally dropped.
It has me desperate for the next book.
It’s quite the interesting twist and I’m really excited to see how it plays out.
I really loved the characters story and can’t wait for the next book in this trilogy.

Book 2
4 STARS
My favorite Constantine, Perry is back in this second book of this trilogy.
After the cliffhanger in the first book I was left so curious how this McTiernan character was going to shake things up. And, Oh, boy! Wow.
Perry and Charlotte have insanely HOT chemistry and there was plenty of that part of their relationship in this book. They are a raging fire of passion and attraction together.
There were some emotional moments that made me very pleased with their communication and eventual “opening up” and there were times when I found their interactions and feelings a bit frustrating. That’s not unusual in an arranged marriage romance, though.
The couples tend to fight their feelings or jump all in.
I have hope that third book will be epic and I’m really excited to see how this story and relationship plays out. Not to mention the secondary characters and their intentions.
Perry is my favorite character from the Midnight Dynasty world and I really love Charlotte.
I’m excited for the next book! I can’t wait!

Book 3
3 STARS
I really enjoyed the first two books in this trilogy, Perry Constantine is a favorite character of mine from The Midnight Dynasty world.
In this last book it starts out a bit intense and I liked how it brought unexpected alliances/allies between characters that didn’t care for each other previously. It definitely gave the story heart and emotions.
I enjoyed the “enemies” banter and working together for the common goal.
The steam factor is high between Perry and Charlotte. Their connection is based on lust/chemistry in large part. There’s emotions, but hidden and bottled up.
They have a unique relationship as it was an arranged marriage, however they’ve become partners, friends and lovers.
Unfortunately, I felt Perry’s personality wasn’t as likable in this book. He seemed very different and I missed the “old Perry”. I missed his humor and laid back, yet rebellious attitude. Though, the storyline is intense so I do understand his intensity and anger.
I didn’t connect with the characters romance very much in this book. Some things just didn’t work for me personally.
I think fans of the first two books will be happy with the closure the book gives to the couple and their commitment.
The action and the secondary characters interactions with them are also enjoyable.

spoiler warning (but like, i’m doing y’all a favor tbh)

i cracked this book open thinking, “i deserve a break. i’ve been in a fantasy chokehold for months. let me cleanse my palette with a good ol’ arranged marriage romance. some enemies-to-lovers. a little tension. a little bite. something that’ll have me kicking my feet.

instead, i got the arranged marriage by monica murphy.

and y’all, i suffered.

the plot starts with perry, our charming playboy, who walks into a meeting and is told by his family that he is being forcibly married. not a suggestion. not a “hey, think about it.” nope. it’s giving medieval alliance vibes but with less tension and more lame vibes. then we meet charlotte, our heroine with a sad backstory and a cat named doja the cat, and i’m deadass about the cat, that should’ve been my red flag but i kept going like a good girl..

charlotte wants to get away from her horrible family and perry is like, “oh well i don’t wanna be married, you really wanna marry me?” and instead of conflict or tension or anything resembling romantic resistance, they’re just like… flirting. immediately. no tension. no struggle. just vibes, and NOT good ones. it was like reading a wattpad fic written by a 13 year old whose only reference for romance was fan edits on tiktok.

i got to page 269. TWO HUNDRED and SIXTY DAMN NINE PAGES IN and they were just now walking down the aisle. like sir and ma’am, i don’t need an entire netflix limited series worth of build-up if y’all are already making googly eyes by chapter two.

there was no one to root for. i connected with NO characters. it was like reading about two cardboard cutouts trying to make eye contact. the plot dragged out. i took a break midway through, took a nap, came back refreshed thinking maybe it was just me. nope. i cracked it open again, made it three chapters further and said, “JAIL IMMEDIATELY!”

this is my first dnf of 2025. i fought hard. i pushed through pop culture references, and dry writing, and i still couldn’t make it. i have more chemistry with my ceiling fan.

this book is the equivalent of someone telling me i’m going to be swept off my feet and then pushing me into a pothole and then running me over.

but anyway, if perry and charlotte get married, divorced, remarried, and then start a reality show, i still wouldn’t give a damn. may they live happily ever after but far away from my bookshelf.

WOW! I am so sad this trilogy is over, I loved Charlotte & Perry. I love how they both grew affectionate of each other and fell in love, despite being against the marriage at first. He was so protective of her, you could really see how much he cared. Jasper & Doja’s appearances made me smile, I’m happy they were there till the end. I hated Seamus from the beginning, I’m so happy he got what he deserved. I was in shock when he kidnapped Charlotte, even more in shock when he held a gun to Perry. It was so good to see her brothers grow closer with her, after all that’s happened. I don’t know what I’m going to do now that I’ve finished this! I had no idea there were more books on the Constantine’s, those will be ordered ASAP!

This is the perfect way to get Perry and Charlotte's complete breath stealing, heart pounding, all the feels romance. Intensity and deep emotions are skillfully and smoothly woven with taut tension, surprising twists, raw drama, intriguing secrets and seductive heat to create a dark and lush web that lures you right in and seizes you in a fierce grip. The chemistry between this duo was incandescent as the sparks fly and these characters gave me some major feels while also making me feel for them. I am independently posting an impartial review.

Started out great and then just took a nose dive
Charlotte was a spineless doormat. The entire miscommunication between Perry and Charlotte got to be tedious and annoying. The kidnapping plot was just dumb.
There were zero redeemable qualities to Charlotte’s parents or Perry‘s mother Caroline.
I started skimming the book as I found too many repetitive moments, and really just got bored.

🏷️ Arranged Marriage

🏷️ Merger of two Wealthy families

🅼🆈 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆:

Arranged Marriage trope is just something else. To see complete strangers come together and try to build a life together.

But what's the problem when you'll come from two extremely wealthy families.

It's the fact that both Perry and Charlotte have no control or say over the biggest decision a person can make.

Just out of the blue, they become mere puppets and have to come together to share the most intimate bond known to man and woman.

Perry and Charlotte, I felt did their best and it was full of feels to see them navigate this unknown territory of getting to know each other but having no intent of being together.

I really liked how we get to see and feel how little by little two complete strangers start bonding over little common things.

And that hotness when they finally come together. Oh my... 🥵🔥🔥

But you can feel that there are secrets and past demons that surface out of nowhere.

What will happen now as that ending has sure set stage for unseen hurdles coming their way and I'm so scared and yet excited to see Perry and Charlotte come together or will they?! AHH.. I can't wait to find out. Loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Book 2 in this Trilogy is Steaming Hot and as much tangled as Perry and Charlotte finally come together in the holy bond of matrimony.

But this marriage started on a complete blank state which is both a good and bad thing.

Good as they get a chance to know each other without any judgment and preconceived expectations or notions about each other.
But on the other hand, it's bad when demons from the past rear up their ugly heads wrecking havoc into whatever closeness or intimacy they might have gained.

This book kept me engrossed and completely hooked onto the delicate navigating the tender but beautiful bond and a special connection when perry and Charlotte are now married and are getting to know each other in a way they had never before.

Let me tell you this one was that balance of angsty and infuriating at the beginning with how as a 🅰🆂🆂 perry was being and yet super steamy as Perry and Charlotte set aflame each other and are all about Passion and desires that was 🥵🔥🔥.

But that ending... Oh my... I was already scared and now totally freaked. Can't wait for the next book. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

🏷️The concluding book in this Trilogy
🏷️Both H and h belong to Wealthy families
🏷️Stalker alert

🅼🆈 🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆:

When I'd started the first book in this series, I'd never thought both Perry and Charlotte would grow on me so much.
Especially with how much they both were against this marriage from the start and it is understandable when one fine day you are told that you'd be marrying a complete stranger.

AHH.. But this final book was absolutely needed as even though there's a stalker on the run and both Perry and Charlotte on high alert and in danger, yet we get to see and dive deep into a love that had no chance of blooming but did just that and more.

The book started in full on action mode after that nerve wracking ending in book 2.
As Charlotte realises that it's fight or die, I was so scared for her, thinking how could she get out of this dangerous situation.

Whereas on the other hand, Perry was going mad over the fact that his wife is in danger and he's yet to find out about her whereabouts.

The pages full of action mode also gave us a glimpse in Perry and Charlotte's Brothers bonding in their common goal to save her.

But what has been the bestest for me about this book is getting to witness Perry and Charlotte finally being a real husband and wife.

AHH.. These two actually made me smile and oh so swoon with how they were with each other and just their love.
The freaking heat these two create, though... Dayumm... Oh so many times and many places and just going at it.. Oh my... Yep... Lit my kindle on fire for sure. 🥵🔥🔥

This one was absolutely Heart melting and made me sigh oh so many times. Loved this one. ❣️❣️❣️❣️

This trilogy ended, and left me with too many unanswered questions.. I kept rereading to see if I missed anything but can't say I have.
I gave the book a big chance, and made a list of questions that probably some of you can answer if you come across my review:
Why didn't her father like her? What are the reasons? Is it becs she's a girl? Or bcs she had an affair?
Why did her mum change? At the last book she was cold toward her, why? Was it becs she was blaming her? Or was she jealous her daughter was genuinely happy?
Why was Caroline (the mother in law) hard on her? The last book she was a big bitch and literally no one cared not even herself to defend herself? Like wtf.. they wanted to keep the pregnancy secret but then Caroline ruins it and she doesn't get a small comment not even from ANYONE.
I read about Crew and their old bond but never understood why they drifted apart? Is he going to have his own book is that why ?
When they were investigating and looking after her ex-boyfriend they mentioned he met with someone from her family, who did he meet with? Was it her father/mother.. who was helping him for god's sake they also kept saying that?
Winston was a bitch about her throughout the book-and all her husband got to say was thank you Winny.
So I get that he kidnapped her and planned on keeping her, he took pics of her, kept tabs on her .. so this guy is sick in the head, but he is so obsessed that he leaves her be after she just runs away?
Her relationship with her brothers, I don't get the energy exactly. She claims they don't care and they do and then they stop caring and then they care again.. like what?
Just when I thought my questions were getting answers BAM the epilogue that drained me more.. like she gave her family a chance, the family that didn't even ask for forgiveness..
Idk what I read, the books left me confused.

I don't want to sound negative, but I feel like the writer just reached a pointed where she had too many side details and she chose to ignore and wrap everything else with a bow as long as it's a HEA. With too many tropes that are just popping everywhere aimlessly.

This is the story of Perry and Charlotte. Perry is a Constantine and Charlotte is a Lancaster…two huge names and old families with power and money. Charlottes dad and Perry’s mother make a contractual agreement to marry their children to merge the two families and their notoriety and power. They fail to ask either child and just expect them to go along with the arranged marriage. Though both are very reluctant, they eventually agree to the marriage.

Perry works with his older brother Winston at the family business. He is the younger brother and has been a notorious playboy and risk-taker for the past few years. Charlotte is the only daughter with three strapping brothers and unworthy in her parents eyes. She’s a toy… something to be trotted out at events for show and abused by her father if she fails to please him. When the two find out they’ve been promised in marriage to each other, Charlotte while initially upset, realizes this will get her away from her father and his overbearing and smothering presence. But what Perry doesn’t know… is Charlotte has a past and it comes back to haunt her in a big way.

The story develops from there. I won’t go any further with details so the reader can enjoy the plot twists. This was very well written and my first by this author. I’m still confused as to why this author, K Webster and other authors have each written about these three families? Why it isn’t same author with multiple books….. In any event, I enjoyed this book very much. The plot was good, the characters well explained, and one I’d probably read it again. Well done.

The Arranged Marriage by Monica Murphy actually consists of three short novels put together (or novellas): The Reluctant Bride, The Ruthless Groom, & The Reckless Reunion (I think).

Perry Constantine and Charlotte Lancaster are two strangers who are forced to be married by their parents, and neither are excited about this prospect, especially at the beginning of the story. Even though they are taken aback by their initial physical attraction, that doesn’t pull them to act on it right off the bat. I don’t really want to give anything away accidentally, so I’ll just leave it at that. 😅

Honestly, I’m never surprised by liking something by Monica Murphy, and I’ll probably only be surprised if I read a book by her that I don’t like. This story in particular is definitely an enemies to lovers one that’s very angsty and can get a bit intense at certain points. But of course, I love all the angst, especially in this novel, and it kept me hooked to where I had to know how it ended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5!

The Reluctant Bride
I couldn’t wait too read Perry’s story and of course I wasn’t disappointed at all. Perry & Charlotte are so right for each other, it’s just a shame they are forced too get married. I was completely hooked and I couldn’t get enough of Perry and Charlotte. That ending WOW, I need the next book ASAP.

The Ruthless Groom
I absolutely am loving Perry & Charlotte. There story just keeps me completely captivated. They are both in denial of their feelings and it’s only a matter of time before they can deny nothing anymore. Someone wants Charlotte and will do anything too get her. I can’t wait too read what happens next especially how this book ended.

The Reckless Union
I absolutely love Perry & Charlotte. Together they are absolutely amazing together and I can’t get enough of them. This story had me completely hooked from the start. Perry & Charlotte get exactly what they deserve. Truly a great story with characters that no will ever forget.

Whew!

I procrastinated on starting this book…and now I’m struggling to remember why! I think the length of it gave me pause, plus it sounded like it might be too angsty. Nope!

Don’t get me wrong—there is TONS of drama & it definitely keeps you guessing the whole time! I mean, you just never know who you can trust, or if people are making colluding with each other or what.

I ended up falling pretty hard for Perry, and even in the beginning when he was acting like a tool, he could’ve been worse.

Charlotte’s father can suck it, as can the rest of the parents, actually. They’re all horrible people. Jasper, however, is the man! I also love Charlotte’s kitty, the sassy lass. Perry’s nicknames for Seamus were so funny! Very entertaining inner dialogue.

I’m kind of excited for some more books about these crazy rich people!

Reading this was like watching a a really good guilty pleasures movie. By now, I realized that I love a good angsty series. This series was so perfect to me. I devoured all three books so quickly. There’s really nothing I love more than a marriage of convenience. If the couple don’t really like each other, even better. I loved watching the relationship between Perry and Charlotte blossom. I especially loved Charlotte going from a quiet, meek girl to speaking and standing up for herself. Although Perry was not perfect, he stood up for Charlotte when she literally had no one on her side. He is exactly what Charlotte needed and he came to her when she needed it most. Although their relationship wasn’t perfect, who could expect it to be when they literally are thrusted together out of nowhere. This series has kept me coming back to reread and reread.

The Reluctant Bride

I LOVED this book! Charlotte & Perry being thrown together made this one heavy on the angst. I loved that the longer he knew her the more she was just his. I hated her father. I’m still not sure where everyone is going to fall by the end, but that’s what fun. I can’t wait for more!

The Ruthless Groom

Omg! I love Perry & Charlotte. The angst was off the charts, and I loved when she finally started to stand up for herself. I can’t wait to see what is next!

The Reckless Union

I absolutely loved Perry & Charlotte’s story. They had to work hard for their love story. This book was funny. Perry and all his nicknames… I loved how this book brought Charlotte’s brothers in as well. It felt like a peace was settled over them.

3.7 Perry and Charlotte are cute and I actually loved the growth of their relationship. Him caring so much about the bruises her father have her was the start and although he had his shot moments of not trusting her and being a dick in the end he is amazing and cares so deeply for him. I sort of wish there was more of a backbone by charlotte when it comes to her parents or at least a scene where she yells at them but I’m happy she is at least closer with her brothers now. I also wished perry did something about his mom because she was also rude to charlotte and I wanted him to protect her.

What a great read!

First of all, who still has arranged marriages! Apparently, the Constantine and Lancaster families!!! Perry and Charlotte are thrown into a situation they have no idea how to handle. But they are young and smart enough to realize what this union means for their families and proceed to face all the music. This was a 700+ page trilogy that I literally couldn't put down. It is well-written and keeps the intrigue high throughout. Just enough spice to keep you with them, revenge to keep you reading and a GREAT ending!

So I have a question,
First I read Lancaster prep series, then another series named hell fire club.and then I started this series, and in the first chapter the male character was talking about his family and I rememberd a great similarity between this family and the family of keaton Constantine in the first book of hell fire. Just like Perry, he had an older brother named Winston, a controlling mother and a dead father. But in hellfire club there was no talk of a perry.
So my question really is, how are theses two series connected?

This is a series with a sweet and loving hero who also happens to be alphahole with a touch of possessiveness and jealousy and a rebellious FMC who is actually very sweet and loving.

At the first stages of their relationship when they get to know each other because of the marriage arranged between them by their parents, Charlotte is rebellious. She does not want to open up or get close. Perry on the other hand is very protective, but gets very jealous when Charlotte's past comes into picture.
There is trust issues and misunderstanding between them. And you will see how the relationship between them develops. The chemistry was very very enjoyable.

The plot revolves around both of their families' business rivals. There wasn’t a lot of dark things and I did not find major plot twists. The plot was predictable. Not very complex.
But I loved the writing style, the connection between the characters, the humour and the spice. The spice was very good.

My rating would be a 3.75/5 ⭐.
So, if you’re looking for a soft, contemporary romance with a good amount of humour, very good spice, and not so complex plot you would enjoy it.

Reread!!

I loved the first two books of this series a lot!! I just hate the kidnap plot so much🙄🙄🙄

I think a surprise pregnancy would’ve been a good ending, if she cut out the abduction plot.

Anyways, I liked seeing their relationship progress. I feel like it was very accurate. Where they would gain some trust with each other, then lose it, and so on. I feel like that was fitting for their situation.

It’s fun to see characters from the Lancaster books and ash and winny.

would have loved this story more…

If the plot wasn’t driven by the two protagonists assuming the worse of each other and failing to communicate. And if the heroine didnt get herself kidnapped by doing something stupid. These two tropes drive much of romance novel plots and its tiring.

But i do love the Constantines and the Morrellis. Now add to it the Lancasters.

And very grateful for kindle unlimited which allows me to skim through the annoying trope sections.

are you kidding me? this “thing” gave me nothing, could have been 500 pages shorter and would have changed a thing.
perry really needs to understand that there’s a huge distance between “you belong TO me” and you “belong WITH me”
war is over people, i repeat: war. is. over.
btw i read the three books separately but decided to count them as one whole book cause they were too short and felt like cheating

Really good

This was a two book series. If I had bought book one and it ended on a cliffhanger I would have been upset. With them together I was okay. The book is well written and edited. The supporting characters are interesting. The MC and FC are great. No insta-love but a good build up and getting to know each other. Good heat level. The mystery is interesting and keeps the story moving along. Good ending. Story wrapped up well.

If you’ve read any of Monica‘s books, you know that you going to be in for a treat. This book includes: The reluctant bride, The ruthless groom, and The reckless union. I have enjoyed every single one of these books, and the wonderful story that was told by Monica. I always look forward to books by Monica.
