The love story of Dani and Josh was soooo enjoyable!
Fire and ice, cat and dog, day and night. That's what Dani and Josh are.
Absolutely contrary!
Living next to each other and annoying one another is like a game to them. They just can't fight against it!
But... does this hate could mean more?

The chemistry is sizzling! That's for sure!
But... suddenly Josh isn't just Dani's neighbor, he also tries to help her family's radio station.
Could it be a problem for them?

Fabiola Francisco just knows how to make you fall in love with great characters!
I love it when the main characters are kinda contrary. Dani is so full of life and kinda chaotic and bubbly!
And Josh... awwwwww! This quiet, organised - and absolutely hot - guy!
It was so easy for me to fall in love with them and their whole story.
All in all Arrogant Neighbor is a heartwarming and funny and cuuuute and sexy and emotional love story set in Emerald Bay. The bonus is to see former characters too!
I really can't wait for more!

This book is highly sexist and crappy for this day and age.. I don't know how it has such a high rating.. Given the blatant sexism portrayed in this, it should be rated negatively.. The girl's dad outright dismisses her creative ideas for expansion just because she is disorganised.. But he had no problem bringing an outsider, a guy to come in and give his ideas.. And let me tell you, Josh came and gave the same ideas that Dani gave.. I don't know how Dani had no balls to stand up to her dad.. Josh was a condescending, arrogant snob and a prick.. And Dani going behind him to rattle him all the time was too childish and immature beyond belief.. I don't know how the team working with the author didn't suggest any changes to this book.. The author is trying too hard to make it a quirky series but failing miserably.. Banter between the leads should be witty, not a boatload of shit..

Having read Ms.Francisco's work many times before it always makes me happy to pick up another one of her books. As soon as this one was announced I started looking forward to it immediately. I headed right back to Emerald Bay. I enjoyed this book so much!
Dani and Josh's journey pulled me in quickly! Dani is a radio DJ at her family's radio station and dealing with everything that comes with it. Josh is a business consultant and likes things These two are brought into each other's lives when they become neighbors and they can't stand one another. Now Dani's Dad has hired Josh and they have to work together. Can these two find a way to get along? And what happens when sparks start flying?
I really liked how I got right into Dani and Josh's journey and how they were neighbors. I enjoyed the back and forth between them and how they got under each other's skin. I didn't know how they'd tackle working together, their close proximity, and every emotion they evoked from each other which got me even more into their story.
The chemistry between Dani and Josh was undeniably steam filled! These two had me feeling so much from beginning to end! I really liked how I connected with both Dani and Josh. They were both passionate about things in their lives which I loved.
It was lovely being back in Emerald Bay and getting to reunite with some familiar faces!
With Arrogant Neighbor, Ms.Francisco has created a great enemies to lovers read that brought the feels! I can't wait to head back to Emerald Bay with book three, Irresistible Roommate!

I was torn between 3.75 or a solid 4 stars.
3.75 because it did need some editing, mostly with typos and some grammar but I put it up to a 4 because despite the editorial issues, the story and how it was presented was enjoyable.
Dani is an outgoing, sassy, fun, and chaotic FMC! She was written and presented in such a way that had me laughing and shaking my head. If she was a real person, I’d kill to have her a best friend.
She cares greatly for her friends and her family, especially her dad who runs a radio station and whom works under.
Josh, a consultant to help those boost their businesses and Dani’s wildly arrogant neighbour is hired by her father to help their ratings. It doesn’t fly well with Dani but of course, what can she do? She’s got no choice but to deal with it.
Their chemistry is vibrant and you can see it in the way they think and interact. They make a very good opposites attract match!

• Messy vs tidy
• Focused vs easily distracted
Plus many other qualifies that conflict with each other.
Regardless of the editing, this book is good and very well put together. I do suggest reading it if you’d like an easy one! I read 65% in one day and finished it an hour ago.

When Dani and Josh collide, it isn’t in fireworks of love and sweetness it is in the ready to rumble kind of fireworks. Dani is the chaos to Josh’s organized beige colored world, and they can’t tolerate each other in any kind of way, but fate has them not only as neighbors but also as coworkers of sorts. Josh lives for his work and takes pride in being the best because in his life he grew up watching his toxic parents ruin any hope he had of finding anything that resembled their chaos, and he thinks Dani is exactly that. Dani is a wild spirit who loves her friends and family hard, wants the best for them, and lives life to the beat of her own drum so when Josh keeps coming at her with his pristine judgmental ways, she hates him. These two throughout the book go back and forth with the hate that walks a fine line to passion and they both carry insecurities in the back of their mind, but when fate steps in again the chemistry is too much. Will Josh finally let loose and see what’s in front of him or will Dani be too free of a spirit for him? These two are funny together even when they spew all their hate and when they collide in passion it’s unstoppable hotness. I loved them, loved the foxes & manny, and seeing this crew again that I can’t wait for what’s next.

Dani is a woman who marches to the beat of her own drum, and chaos personified but she's unapologetically herself which I respected. Josh is uptight like you wouldn't believe because he wants a life free of chaos due to his upbringing, and I have to say I related to him the most in all my uptight glory LOL! Josh is now her neighbor, and they start butting heads from the jump as they're truly oil & water but I have to say while he could be a jerk at times, their interactions were very much entertaining. Now, I have to say they're perfect for each other, but this isn't insta anything as they slowly burn together before things escalate into heat, especially since he becomes part of her work life making their interactions more intense with all their enemy vibes. However, from the moment they kiss, well, all bets are off at that point. I love me some Fabiola Francisco, as she creates everyday people with all their glorious flaws so they're very relatable in my eyes that I can't help but get behind their journey, and this couple is no exception. There's drama (obviously), an enemies to lovers vibe, humor, and just an all around great story that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ok.. if you’ve read any of my reviews.. you know that this is a favorite author for me. I love Fabiola Francisco’s writing, I am so in awe of her skill with character creations and full storylines that keep me reading from the very beginning to the end.
I love these characters!! Daniela is kind of a fly by the eat of your pants sort of girl who works with her father at a radio station, and her job is not quite going the way she thought it would. With the ratings dropping.. her father hires someone to help… and Daniela is not excited.
Josh is Daniela’s neighbor and he’s a very NOT fly by the seat of your pants kinda guy. He plans everything, listens to jazz, and works very hard and long. He has a habit of giving her advise about her house and putting her trash cans away.. and now.. he’s been hired to assist the radio station she works for in bringing up their ratings.. which means he’s there to give Daniela tips on doing her job.
This is a great book! It’s light and fun, and just fun to read. I still love Fabiola Francisco.. maybe even more than I did before I read this.

Arrogant Neighbor will have you laughing from the first chapter. Dani is fiercely wild, she may be a whirlwind of chaos to others, but there is this way about her we learn and it will only make you love her more. Josh is type A to a T, he brings this swoon-able sense of order and organization that you ever knew you could fall for. They are so relatable you will feel right at home in the words you read.
Fabiola brings such life to the story of Dani and Josh, the comfort of family, the misunderstanding of learning people all while fighting your own emotions, it’s powerful. With the combustible connection they have it’s going to be hard to put it down.
They are complete opposites that become a balance contrast and between that and all the discoveries that both Dani and Josh have Arrogant neighbor will leave you wanting more and maybe a manatee, too or a trampoline.

Arrogant Neighbor is book two of the Emerald Bay Series and is an enemies to lovers, small town romance. It is entertaining, funny, easy to read and has great supporting characters. It had a good mix of funny, spicy, and sweet.
I really liked Dani, she was amusing, spunky, sassy , kind, charismatic and wasn't shy about releasing her temper when needed. Josh started off moody and jerk-ish but turned out to be kinda sexy and domineering. I would have liked to see a little more interaction between Josh and Dani's dad at the end about the circumstances or a snippet with the dinner invite going down. Also would have liked to learn more about Josh's current relationship with his family.
Overall an enjoyable read, I'd give it a solid 4.5 out of 5.

If there ever was a couple that you can associated with the saying opposites attract, look no further than Daniela and Josh. These two couldn't be more different even if they tried.

Soon they see that there is more than meets the eye, and fall for each other is inevitable.
This story was fast paced, and I felt like Dani is my spirit animal. They were so cute together and I was happy to see them balancing each other out. Definitely worth the read!

Can two people be more opposite? One is cherry and colorful and the other boring and gray and when they clash there is combustion.
The book is hilarious. I enjoyed the way Dani pushes all of Josh’s buttons and how she never takes anything serious but still step up when need be.
I enjoyed the role Dani’s dad played and his immigrant experience together with his work ethics.
I loved that there was character development. The MCs were allowed to progress and on their way to becoming the best versions of theirselves.
With small town romance comes nosy neighbors, meddling friends and even warning fathers. I enjoyed the small town vibes and the way the town’s people were in the MCs’ business.
I will recommend if you love sunshine/grump, enemies to lovers, office and small town romance.

WHEN TWO POLAR OPPOSITES COLLIDE!
Dani and Josh were two polar opposites! As chaotic and messy as Dani was, she drove neat freak Josh up the wall. Her disorganization made him feel she didn't take her job seriously, when that was the farthest thing from the truth. His job was to fix the radio station, make it profitable and more up to date. Dani clashed with him at every opportunity.
They say there is a fine line between love and hate. The passion is the same intensity, and can easily flip from one to the other. The antics of these two, with Dani pulling Josh's chain every chance she can get, is hilarious at times. I will say, Enemies to Lovers genre is my favorite! You will love this book! It is so very good!

I loved the first book in this series (Emerald Bay) and I couldn’t wait to read this one! You are introduced to Dani in the first book and loved how tied in the MCs of the first book were tied in. Loved to read their story continuing in this book too!
Dani - you were a wonder MC to read. Seeing your character develop with and without the male MC was so cool to see. You were chaotic, bubbly, and funny!
Josh - you are a swoon worthy book boyfriend. You truly cared for Dani and were so supportive of her neurodivergent diagnosis later on in life.

Fab you have brought us your small town feel good read again, but this time you brought more to the lives of regular people not only in books but real life as well. I hope this will be an enormous help to those who struggle with issues such as ADHD or someone they know.
My oldest late son had ADHD and this was years ago with not a lot of common knowledge about it. It changes everything in a home to make it each day. But science and medical research has made it easier now. You brought to lite the fear of being broken or labeled and it's wonderful for people to read this. Best one yet for me. Thank You

Josh is a man who thrives on routine and order. Living next to a woman who is a whirlwind is challenging but having to work with her is going to up the ante especially when he tries to convince her that his way is the best way.
Dani has her own ideas of how to improve the performance of the radio station where she works however she is already battling her father to be heard so she isn’t looking for another voice in the mix especially when there is no escape at work or at home.
The different personalities between Josh and Dani cause some friction but as they get to know each other, quirks and all, they find the perfect balance in each other.

What a wonderful diversion from my dark romance, mafia type stories!
I love enemies to lovers, and the romcom makes it all the more fun!
The push and pull, yin and yang of Dani and Josh, well, "chef's kiss" delicious!
It was so easy to get caught up in this romance that when I looked at the clock, I thought, whoops...I'm going to be tired at work tomorrow! Oh well! One more chapter before lights out!
I couldn't wait to finish the next day!

Dani is a local radio DJ living next door to Josh. Some hilarious moments from the start for disorganised Dani and super tidy and organised Josh. Throw in some other older, nosy and wacky neighbors, one with a crush on Josh and this is a very entertaining read. When Dani's father hires Josh to help their ailing radio station the underlying chemistry between Dani and Josh comes to the surface and takes over. Such an entertaining read. Cannot recommend highly enough. Read an ARC for an honest review.

These two neighbors drive each other nuts. Josh is the stuck-in-the-mud button-up workaholic whereas Dani is the free-spirited live your life kind of woman. When these two go head-to-head hits are hilarious because she does stuff just to drive Josh nuts. When he all of a sudden becomes a consultant at her father's radio station well these two will butt more than heads. When an accidental radio is left on and the world comes to them for questions well Josh is going to have to adjust not just his job but his relationship with Dani. When lines are crossed can these two find love?

When you combine a type A personality with someone who has ADHD tendencies, you know you are going to have fights and disagreements. So when Daniela and Josh butt heads their attraction is not something either of them ever saw coming. But in true Fabiola Francisco style the characters and the readers are lost in a storyline that will make them laugh as well as sigh with happiness. And the snark and stuffy interactions are just icing on the cake - a great read.

I'm not really into enemies to lovers, but there was something about Josh and Dani. I loved that they could balance each other out a bit. I loved that Josh was able to use some of his familiarity to help Dani out with something she didn't know she was struggling with. I loved that Dani had a country music station and I even loved how the meddling small town community and the weather helped throw the two together.

Josh and Dani are complete opposites and they keep having to spend time together every turn. She's his neighbor and just when she thinks she can't take anymore of him he starts working with her as their new consultant.
Soon the sparks are flying and hate turns to love for these two. I love this small little town and the people in it.

Loved the characters and storyline in this book. They are yin and Yang and drive each other crazy, but when forced to work together they start on a very different journey. Loved this story and can’t wait for the series to continue.

Josh and Dani are Neighbors and it’s not working out very well…and now they have to work together. Josh is sooo type A it’s not even funny and Dani is hot mess central. But they do say opposites attract and boy do these two have chemistry. As these two start to spend time together and get to know each other we learn one big thing…wow do they know how to push each other’s buttons. They set each other off and push each other so much and I’m here for it. This was an adorable read with several laugh out loud moments and amazing banter. The story was well layered and the characters were larger than life personalities that told a great story. I love this friend group and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Small Town, Rom-Com, with great characters. Dani and Josh are neighbors who are on each other’s last nerve until they need to work together. Josh is order to Dani’s chaos and their story is a fun one to read.

The banter between Daniela and Josh kept me engaged throughout the book. What was not to enjoy?! Who doesn’t dislike their neighbor? In this case Daniela and Josh butt beads and made for such a great read. There were definitely some laugh out loud moments and their chemistry was on point.
