Easy to follow and comprehensive!
This book saved me hours of researching and trying to piece things together on all things UI/UX design. Learning about design thinking was also a bonus. High recommend for beginners.

profound wisdom filled read
I found this book for me personally to be quite profound and eye opening. Though not a professional designer I am constantly engaged in my own web site, designing art, books, curriculums, programs, interiors, buildings and landscapes. The most interesting part to me was user empathy and how critical it is. I was also struck by how the growth model is in many ways like an Empath we’re as the other approach to design is in many ways narcissistic. I had a lot of aha moments reading this book. One part I loved was the example of a user blaming themselves for punching the wrong button on the remote, when in fact it is a design issue. I highly recommend this wonderful read.

Just what I needed!
This book is an excellent guide to UX design! I am currently finishing off my degree in IT, and my last project heavily focused on UX design, so I saw this book and thought it might be helpful. I was so right! The author lays out the perfect guide to understanding and getting started with UX design concepts. He gives a lifecycle which breaks down the tasks of a successful UX design project into manageable stages that keep you right from start to finish. I also found the scenarios and demonstration very helpful and aided the content and my learning very well. I will definitely be referring to this book when working on my project!

Excellent for beginners!
I’m not a tech person myself, but I work at a tech company that does UX design so I picked up this book to learn more about what we do. It was so helpful! The day-to-day at work makes so much more sense and I can provide better input for my team. Highly recommend.

a must read!
I am a developer with 40 years experience. I am also a board certified informatician. Mr. Park’s book is an excellent and concise guise to improving your applications. UX is so important and so often overlooked.
I’ve read hundreds of books on UX and UI. This was the best !

Start Building Your UX Career’ by Uijun Park is a fantastic intro for anyone currently interested in the UX field or anyone just starting out in UXD. This book is filled with a wealth of knowledge, insight and is broken down in a way that is so easy to comprehend. I highlighted so many parts of this book that really spoke to me and that I thought would be useful down the road. Highly recommend!
