"You said it feels like love, right? That's what it is."
The angst in this is so, so good. The mutual longing? Incredible. Shim Cheong-soon's self doubt, thinking that he's not good enough for Hyeon Gonghyeon, while still longing for him and wanting to be the only person for him, paired with HGH’s past denial of his feelings, leading to the decade of loneliness without each other, pull at my heartstrings.
I really like their dynamics. Even though HGH is SCS's boss, because they shared a past as schoolmates, there isn't a power imbalance. In fact, HGH uses his position to be sweet on his lover and he isn't even trying to hide it. They're a good match and I like how they balance each other out. There's something so pure about their relationship - they were both people who had their own pain to deal but they found solace within each other, something so simple yet profound for both of them. And I think this is actually depicted really well, because their scenes together are intimate, full of tenderness and meaning.

I absolutely adored this series! Which is too be expected since it's the same creator as Wolf in the House. Beautiful art. Tragic lonely lovely muffins who fall back in love. Inject it into my veins!!
