Either Way, It's Okay: A Story of Faithfulness, Trust, and Determination to Face Cancer Together with an Eternal Perspective

Rate this book
The choice was ours...to wallow in grief and self-pity...or to live a joyous life with cancer.
"For everything there is a season...a time to be born and a time to die." Eccl. 3:1-2 NLT Unless God intervened, it was John's time to die. Even though we utilized the treatments available, his cancer journey continued; eventually involving three different kinds. Yet, he made it clear to anyone who discussed it with him, he was living with cancer, not dying from cancer. If someone mentioned he was battling cancer, he immediately corrected them. He wasn't battling anything. God was in charge.

I had the privilege to read Joy Bach’s manuscript of Either Way it’s Okay in late 2022. I read the manuscript over a few weeks. So, it is great to see the final product in publication. This book is a read that made me smile, frustrated me, and shed tears. Joy’s book has grit, belief, faith, and love. This book resonates with me. As Joy said, “This book is not about goodbye-it’s about hello.” Hello, John!
