The book is lacking a few chapters, a HEA and a good epilogue (maybe we'll still get it), but other than that, this was one of the best incest books I've read so far - and I've read plenty.

How does she come up with this shit? How? Someone tell me. I've read a few of this author's books so far and every single time the characters were the ones who fiercly stood out in the story, the dynamic was always so good and the development of the overall story just did it for me.

🔴 Taboo - father/son
🟢 Size difference
🟡 Age gap - 21 years
🔵 Humiliation kink
🟣 Rags to riches
🟠 HFN
🌶️ Fantastic spice; dad b/son t
❗ Sex work, SA, physical violence (not by each other)

This is one of those stories that absolutely need that second part. An additional book to finish off this incredible story of one dedicated father who's been through so much to provide for himself and his son, giving his kid the oportunities he himself never had and them falling into a forbidden relationship, where both of their needs are being completely met.

George's life came to a screeching halt when he became a single dad at 21. He was fairly young and as uneducated and alone as he was, started selling his body for money so Eric, his son, could play football and go to college.

They had a close relationship and cared about each other very much, but Eric made a somewhat stupid decision one night before starting college when he booked his dad for sex, but had him wear a blindfold. The blindfold went off and even a bit stunned, both continued having sex with being fully aware what that meant going forward. It meant their familial relationship was ruined, but as the story evolves and you find out more and more about that night, you realise why they both finished each other off that night.

At present time Eric's 30 years old and in the big leagues, he's making a lot of money and living a good life, but he's also closeted and has a fake girlfriend. Eric's constantly thinking about his father whom he's left behind and hasn't talked to in 10 years. George refuses to meet his son and continues to do sex work and paying off his debt for putting Eric through college.

When they both meet again, Eric finds out his father is not living well and decides to change that, even though George doesn't want anything to do with him, doesn't want to go down any kind of road with Eric, doesn't want to be close to Eric, because he feels awful about what transpired... but also awful for enjoying it.

When George finally moves to Florida with Eric and tries to live the good life he's never had, they both quickly realise they still feel the attraction towards each other and decide to get together, despite everything. They've been fighting the pull for so long, with Eric just wanting to take care of his dad who's sacrificed so much for him, but at the same he's never been with any other guy, because he's always wanted his dad.

Eric was taller than his dad, was muscular, athletic and also quite a bit possessive of George - not too much, just right. Eric's much younger, but really takes care of George and makes that additional step to make him happy, to really satisfy him in bed. George was a sex worker, he's a bottom and he's 51 at this point, his body is older, he's worn out a bit, but even so he's never had really satisfying sex with anyone, noone bothered to make him really enjoy it, the sex work he did was also quite harsh at times.

Eric changes that. He's making thet effort for George and not only that, Eric is fantastic in bed, he's amazing, he can be gentle and caring, but at the same time so damn rough, I mean, goddamn, I could read about another 100 pages of their sex life alone, it was hot as hell.

“Like this?” He pulled out and thrust deep. “That what you want, Dad? Your boy fucking your hole so good?” He released my arms and caught my legs, holding them high in one hand while his pelvis slapped into my ass hard over and over. “You like the sound of my cock fucking that hole?” He pulled out and took his dick in his free hand smacking it against my hole over and over. “Fuck. Open for me, Dad. Open that ass for your favorite son.”

Their dynamic was absolutely amazing. It was me thinking about George, who's an older man who never had a partner, never had any kind of love or luck in his life, noone cared about his pleasure or his worth for that matter - and here's Eric, someone who loves him unconditionally and wants to take care of him until the end of time.

I couldn't even feel they were related, they were calling each other dad/son, but even so, I feel like that other dynamic was more dominating, they just fit and there could never be anyone else taking that special place in their lives.

I loved them both. ❤️

I am begging for this story to have a 2nd part or at least a very lengthy epilogue.

Can’t he see that he can’t ask me for what he wants and still call me Dad?

My two thoughts on this are kinda hot and what the fuck am I reading. Don’t think I was a fan of the prostitution plot line.
A short forbidden erotica with a fun role reversal (loved that the son was the top/more dominant of the couple), but maybe not enough tension. Or enough pages.

“That what you want, Dad? Your boy fucking your hole so good?”

“I want you to know just who’s fucking you. Who’s going to make you come so hard you’ll sleep a little better tonight. Besides, you love the fact that I’m the one fucking you. Admit it.”

“No more shame?” I asked him. He shook his head and smiled. “No more shame.”

Fantastic father/son incest erotica by Gianni Holmes. Available on Smashwords, 94 pages.

What I loved about this one was the son was the pursuer and dominant top, and the father's shame and refusal to go along with it at first (and for a while.) It subverts all the typical father/son tropes. This time it's the son pursuing, taking care of, dominating, humiliating his father with dirty talk, and there are strong "who did this to you" and "let me take care of you" elements.

There is a reference to a past noncon situation between the two, it's a spoiler so I won't mention it. It probably falls in a grey area between dubcon and noncon.

A bit of angst, some pining, some plotting, bit of a slowburn , nice sex work rep (not glorifying it, not condemning it), a sexual assault situation for the father while working (a client engages in stealthing and it's noncon), fluffy HEA, a fun engaging story overall.

Highlights:

• “He ain’t my boy,” I was quick to snap the retort. He’d not been anything to me since the very fucked up thing he’d done ten years ago. I wanted nothing to do with him, and seeing him from the safe distance of a screen would have to be enough.

• My son, Eric, who I hadn’t seen in the past ten years except on the television screen stood right there in my kitchen staring at me. Seeing him on screen was not enough to prepare me for the sight of him in person, all filled out. Even as a young adult, he’d shown much promise of the man he would grow up to be.

• “You’ll always be my father, and you saying otherwise won’t change that. You can pretend all you want, but I am your son. You’re my father, and we don’t have to let things end this way.”

• I had to clutch the back of the chair nearest to me for support. My whole body shook at the sight of him. “You ceased being welcomed when you tricked me. You deceived me, and I’ll never forgive you for it.”

• “When I wanted to pull out, you stopped me,” he continued, his breathing sounding harsh even through the wood. “You remember what you told me then, Dad? Because I didn’t forget it.”
I want you to breed me.

• “Who did this to you?” I asked, dabbing at the first cut with a clean damp gauze.

• “Thank you,” I told him, my heart full of adoration for this man and all he’d given me. “For everything you’ve done. Now please, will you let me take care of you?”

• “Let me in, Dad. Can’t you see that I’m crazy about you?”
Can’t he see that he can’t ask me for what he wants and still call me Dad?

• “Dirty talk. Call me names, be derogatory. It turns me on.”

• “I’m going to make you my dirty little slut. Fuck you whenever you want. You’re going to beg me, ‘please son, fill me with cum.’ Tell me how much you need it.”

• “Look at you riding my thighs.” His breathing was harsh. “How badly do you want it, Dad? How badly do you want my cock?”

4.5 stars, rounded up because it's awesome.

This was a surprisingly excellent read. When it comes to erotica, especially taboo, I go in expecting a certain level of garbage. This book was not garbage, far from it. The writing was great, easy to follow but not too simplistic as with usual taboo erotica.

Eric is a professional football player, around 30 years old. He tries to reconcile with his father, someone he hasn't seen or talked to in 10 years. His dad has had a rough life in those 10 years, mostly because he prioritized Eric and his future as a single parent while Eric was growing up. His dad is the reason Eric could go on to play football professionally. The first 70% of the book is mostly about that reconciliation, their lingering feelings for each other, and Eric taking care of his dad after they reunite. The remaining portion of the book is their submission to and acceptance of their relationship together. Eric is the dominant partner that loves to take care of his dad and make him feel cherished, and his dad willingly submits to all of it. It was a nice change of pace from most dad/son stories that has the dad as the more dominant.

This is more of a romance than erotica, but there's a few sex scenes (and they're super hot, especially the taboo dirty talk). The relationship between Eric and his dad is amazing, showing (not telling) a deep emotional connection between them. Eric is a very considerate lover and partner, and his dad is infinitely loyal and supportive of Eric. They get their HEA.

One thing to note... the blurb for this book doesn't really do it justice. Eric is NOT the superstar asshole the blurb makes him out to be. While he's certainly big, built, and an alpha male type, he's not an asshat. Eric is so focused on taking care of his dad as a supportive son that you don't really see much of a "superstar" side to him at all. It's incredibly sweet and endearing. If you're looking for romance in this taboo, this is your book.

My only two complaints:
(1) There were some editing mistakes that mixed up names or pronouns, making it look like one of them was talking to himself. It's nothing egregious, but it throws off for a couple times. There was also a continuity issue in one of the scenes that had Eric undressing seemingly twice between pages. But that's forgivable considering how well written the rest is.

(2) It should have been longer. Seriously, this could have been a novel and I would pay an insane amount for it. Author, you've got great writing skills and know how to balance a story. The way situations were introduced through other scenarios was pretty damned good, too. Very little about this story felt faked or thrown in, which is almost unheard of in taboo erotica, and it's rare in romance, too.. My erotica rating scale is much different (i.e. more forgiving) than my romance scale. Most erotica would never reach beyond 2 or 3 stars by my romance novel standards. This one, though, would easily be a 4 or 4.5 star romance as written. If you add more depth/length to it and show a long-drawn relationship between the two? 5 stars and added to my extremely selective "favorites of all time" list. Guaranteed.

I had a seriously good time reading this, best in a long while. It's absolutely worth the money.

OMG, you guys, this book is perfection!! I LOVED it! Seriously, it was SO freaking good!! I devoured this book, and I'm still buzzing about it. The writing just pulled me right in from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down! The story was so captivating and had me totally hooked. 💘

And the characters?! Ugh, I was so invested in them! Eric totally embodies the yearning suffering in silence MMC type—he kept on thinking and wanting George for 10 years and I was just SWOONING. And the way his relationship with George developed? Chef's fucking kiss! It had all the FEELS – the second chance romance and slow burn were so beautifully delivered. 😍

I'm not a fan of second-chance romance, but in this book? It somehow just works for me. I have zero complaints about this book. Maybe it's because the history between the characters is so complex and the reasons for their separation are so deeply explored. It doesn't feel like a simple "let's try again," but more like a raw and honest journey of healing and rediscovery. Even if you're not usually a fan of this trope, I think the way Gianni X. handles it here is really compelling and might even change your mind a little bit, just like it did for me. 🖤

I was already excited to read this because Gianni X. a.k.a. Gianni Holmes is my absolute favorite author of ALL TIME! And honestly, you can totally see their signature style in this book. The way they craft their characters and build the tension? Pure genius. It's got that same magic I fell in love with in all their other books. 💎

If you're a fan of Gianni Holmes' books like me but want something taboo mixed into it, you absolutely HAVE to check this one out. Seriously, go read it! You won't regret it. If I could give it 6 stars I definitely would! ✨

It's one of those books that really sticks with you, you know? I just know that I'm gonna have a book hangover from this one. This book will live rent-free in my head for sure. 🙂‍↕️

Shame is a textbook example of how to write a taboo romance. Gianni X masterly makes a somewhat taboo topic understandable to the point where you kind of ship this non-sensical relationship. Oddly enough, I want to read more of this couple.

3⭐'s is a ME problem so please add an additional ⭐ or 2 for normal people. For all intents and purposes this should be at least a 4 star read for me and while I had high hopes in the beginning I just couldn't get past my hang-ups.
“What about when the blindfold slipped,” his words came low and hoarse. “Your eyes were wide open. You stared right into my face and you did nothing to stop me then. What about that, Dad? Do you remember what you did? You grabbed my ass and told me to fuck you harder.”
It had my attention. All the flash back scenes were super hot. Dad & son had an amazing bond where it was them against the world, both working towards the goal of getting Eric a football scholarship so he could make something of himself and dad could stop stop whoring himself out to pay the bills. Messy story but heartfelt.
He withdrew and thrust inside of me, making my toes curl. “Have I never washed your mouth out with soap?” I asked him. He laughed, going still as he was completely thrown off balance. “Hush. Can’t you see I’m trying to make my father come here?”
When they finally begin speaking after a decade apart it's sweet and supportive with dirty talk and funny moments.

My "ME" problem is I don't know what the hell they look like. When I read my brain builds the scene & populates it with the people. All I know about dad is: he's 50. His clients call him 'old'. Eric describes grabbing his butt as "his ass, the soft flesh squishing". And details the outfit his dad wears to work "discreet clipped back of the tight leather pants he had on. Easy to unsnap for a quick fuck without even undressing. The transparent red shirt he wore stretched across his chest." Eric also mentions his dad's graying hair. So all I know is 30 yr old pro-footballer and 50 yr old squishy ass dad who dresses for the office. The image my head conjured...honestly I was squirming and not in a good way.

3.5 stars rounded up. The erotica quality was pretty decent, but the plot was contrived to the point of eye roll. This is very common for taboo erotica, however.

It's a SHAME the book wasn't longer. After Eric returned home, the sudden progression of his relationship with his dad was unrealistic. They spent 10 years avoiding each other after "the incident" only to make up in a few days. I felt there wasn't enough angst between them. Also the book felt fluffy and low drama. The drama that was in thr book was cleaned up too nicely (getting away from pimp, coach and the stolen money, and Eric's gf finding out about him and his dad). The book ended abruptly.

A really good story. A father and son are super close until something happens that tears them apart. Son goes on to become famous footballer while Dad is a sex worker (always was one - that is how he afforded to support his son and his football). They have falling out and son leaves and is away for 10 years - no contact ☹️. I did love this story although I kept asking myself why Eric waited 10 years to try to reconnect with his Dad.

The aspect of the dad being 50 and the son being 30 would normally be something that bothers me. Once MC's are past the age of 45 or so, things get a bit dicey for me. However, this time it didn't, though age played heavily into the plot.
