This book is definitely not a standalone. You will need to read the other books to understand. Please read the triggers first. This book is about them figuring out their new dynamic with each other. Enemies are revealed too that will take you by surprise. This book will keep your interest until the very end. This is a very dark and suspenseful book.

N. J. Adel does it one more time taking us out of our comfort zone with this 5th book in the Night Skulls series. Like others have said this is definitely not a standalone. You will have to read the other 4 prior books --- Furore, Tirone, Dusty and Cameron. I would also seriously suggest that you take the trigger warnings seriously and not read this book just to give it a bad review because you don't like the content and took no notice of the warnings. That being said....this 4.5 star was rightly named Mayhem. Boy oh boy! We got to meet all the characters from the previous 4 books but mostly focusing on the threesome of Jo, Furore and Tirone. This was an extremely complicated plot but made a lot of sense if you knew the characters and what got to them where they are in this book. N. J. Adel talks of this book as being smut. However, it was smut that worked because there was definitely a story and lots of twists and turns. If you have read the other 4 books then this is a must read for you. If you are new to N. J. please, either start with one of her other series or definitely read this series in order. Thank you N. J. for my ARC of this book. All opinions expressed are completely my own.

When the author claimed this book is pure smut with no plot, I honestly giggle cause... Helllooo💃
But, there's conflict in play with this unusual menage. With daddy Furore and Tirone background and nature, their three ways relationship are toxic to say the least.
I was wondering why the last book ended just like that, then this book answer it. Their toxic relationship need more blood and the idea of loosing one another to get their three way bond come together.

The steamy scenes are crazy dirty super steamy. Like, "...I couldn’t believe I spent my lunch break, naked, about to get fucked in public by my student, my boyfriend, my fucking stepson, while I was on my period."

But at the end, their relationship was, “We all judge a book by its cover, but only a few dare take a leap of faith and dive in a story blind. Even fewer get to find hidden gems in the rough pages. Those are the lucky ones. I know I am, because in my story, he takes her to buy all the books she wants, reads her favorite scenes with her and reenacts them with his pierced ten-inches.”And make that two-fold."😎💃

In the beginning, NJ warns us readers with this: "Also, if you come here looking for a plot, leave now. This is smut on steroids."

Y'ALL! She did not disappoint in that department! I really enjoyed the way this story unfolded and how it ended. It was a short read, which I really love sometimes. Nothing over-complicated, and it's straight to the point. If you've read the connected books, this one is a must!

Happy Reading! 💛

3.5 ⭐️

Entering back into this realm, I surged full steam ahead. After the last book, I was still left with questions.

This trio is dysfunctional to say the least. Jo is involved with a father and son who have their own issues - and I mean issues - with each other. It’s a contest to Tirone and Furore about who’s the better guy for her. And it causes problems that no therapist would want to touch. To make matters worse - she ends up pregnant which uncovers some more secrets.

The author does warn the novella is short on plot and she’s right to a certain extent. Most scenes are of the erotic kind but we do get the closure. Weirded out a bit with the whole dynamic of these three and Tirone gave me icks for once.

* I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Night Skulls Mayhem catches up with Tirone, Jo & Furore but in order for this book to make any sense you need to read all four books in The Night Skulls MC series. Tirone, Jo & Furore have to deal with their relationship and all of the pitfalls they all face together. Only Tirone & Furore cant seem to make it work and Jo is stuck in the middle of both of them. Problems, arguments and outside influences seem to get in their way.

It was great to read more from all of them and I really enjoyed reading it. I loved the pop up of other characters from the series in this one. A great addition to it.

An Unusual Trio

I’ll start off saying like everyone else has…this is not a standalone. The other books in this series must be read in order. Now, with that said that book took off where the last book ended and was still just as steamy and twisted as all the others were. I do love crazy, twisted, steamy books but this book did push a limit for me on one topic but everyone has different limits. This book definitely isn’t for the faint of heart but if you can handle extremes this is a book for you.

Night Skulls Mayhem by N. J. Adel is part of the The Night Skulls MC series. This is told in multi POVs, no cliffhanger and has a HEA. This book should be read after the first four books in order to have a better reading experience, especially the first two.

The story is about the prez of the Nighr Skulls Laius Lazzarini, his wife Jo Lazzarini, and Tirone who is Laius son from a previous relationship. This book is full of Taboos and it is very dark and spicy. I enjoyed this quick spicy read and would recommend it.

Well that was an exciting and intense addition to Jo, Furore and Tirone’s story. It was filled with suspense, action, violence, twists and turns throughout, plus some very delicious and very smutty moments that kept me on the edge of my seat and needing a cold shower the whole way through.

These three are toxic, dysfunctional and a complete mess most of the time. But underneath all of that you could feel the passion and love that Furore and Tirone have for Jo.

Great story filled with all kinds of dark and smutty moments!

Make sure you read the previous Night Skulls MC books first.

Great to have a continuation of Furore, Jo and Tirone's story.
As with the others, some parts were a bit much for me, but that doesn't affect my rating as everyone has their own limits/tastes. Despite that tho, im always happy to read these books, the storyline, and writing draw you in.
Lots going on while they continue work on how their relationships will work, I was on the edge of my seat near the end. I couldn't stop reading.
Brilliant read 📚

were back with Jo and her men, Tyrone (ty) and Furore (lasius) father and son. They have done their all to hide their relationship, but one announcement is about to change all that, will being open about it bring them closer together or tear them apart as enemies come out the wood work. A well written steamy MFM romance a great short read that catches you up with these characters and has yoyr attention on tender hooks with twists and steamy scenes!

I so enjoy when an author pushes me into an uncomfortable mind set and it happens often in here. It's straight dirty and that's putting it sweetly.

The continuation of Furore, Jo and Tirone's story was worth all the things I didn't get done to allow myself the feeling of squirming and heat flashes these scenes brought. Drink lots of icy water. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

You definitely need the other books in this series to understand this one. Jo is still stuck in the middle between father and son as Furore and Tirone can’t stop fight to see what going on around them. But everything change when Jo leaves and reunions with old friends from her past. But when Jo is take the guys must put their differences aside to save her before their enemies can kill her. It is great to catch up on our psycho family.

This is not a standalone as it is a continuation of Jo, Tirone and Furore's story. It is a thrilling read that kept me on the edge of my seat. Dark and twisted that is not a read for the light hearted. Please be mindful of the TW before starting. If you read Tirone and Furore, I highly recommend picking this book up.

NJ does it again with this yummy addition to the Night Skulls
You’ll need to read the prior books in the series to fully understand what is going on. The spice is 🔥 and I couldn’t put this one down! If you love dark and twist MC with plenty of spice this is definitely the book series for you! I can’t wait to see what NJ comes up with next.

This is one of the darkest, twisted books from NJ I have read yet. This is full of a bunch of taboos, I can say I am not a fan of the context mommy is used and the taboo in the epilogue but it's only because the relationship between the two guys. The story is mostly taboo after taboo and a little bit of MC retaliation.

I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.

Naughty, complicated, taboo and worth the read.

Great sequel to Furore and Tirone with cameos from Dusty and Cameron too.
Nicely finished off the complicated throuple that is Furore, Tirone and Jo. They all finally get their happy endings.
Don’t forget the epilogue, it is not to be missed, you naughty smut fans!

The continuation of Tirone, Jo, and Furore's story was intense. There was so much happening with all three of them, betrayal, confusion, mental breakdowns, and more. This nook was very easy to get drawn into and is a must read.

I will warn this is a bit of a dark twisted book but that’s what this author does so well and this one is epic. It’s an edge of your seat thriller. I could barely catch my breathe. Another perfect book with your favorite characters.

This book is not a standalone.
It's after another set of books from the same author.
It's got angst and drama on every page, and you want to cheer and hate all the main characters.
That's how you know the author is sneaky, devilish, and leaves you wanting more from them.

Jo, Laius and Tirone are navigating through this relationship. There is jealousy, boundaries are tested. But they must work together because at the end of it all they are a family. One that gets complicated and let's not forget the heat.

For me it's easily five stars. It may not be for everybody though. Someone should do a special edition of these books. I need a collection of my own. Each of these are unique in their own way. Totally binge worthy.

I still think Jo only cares about Ty.and Ty is jus obsessed with her. I think Furore should have end up alone or with someone else then Jo.
