Tamara je studentica psihologije koja nakon obiteljske tragedije postaje opsjednuta smislom svog postojanja. U potrazi za suvislim odgovorima, u svojoj glavi raspreda ideje o kaosu, vječnosti i ništavilu, dok se u stvarnosti susreće s neobičnom galerijom likova: starcem koji gaji čudnu sklonost prema šampitama i vjeruje u prijenos duše putem pogleda, slikaricom koja voli slikati jednoroge i pećnice, psihijatricom koja psihoanalizira likove iz sapunica, a u normalnim ljudima vidi ludilo. Na tom putu joj pomaže prijateljica koja je pobornica «kulta sive trenirke», a odmaže kradljivac biti - biće koje stanuje u noćnim morama i stvarima oduzima njihovu bit čineći ih praznim ljušturama bez sadržaja...

Tomica Šćavina

Tomica Šćavina was born in 1975, she is a Croatian writer and poet. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her first novel, A Ship for Lajka has been shortlisted for the VBZ Prize for Best Unpublished Novel, and her second novel, The Return of a Genius, brought her two prizes, Sfera and Artefakt. Her third novel A Room at the Bottom of the Sea, with a working title Healing Dictionary, was also shortlisted for the above-mentioned VBZ Prize.

She has published a book of poetry The Ornaments of a Fall and two children stories – The Tamer of Clouds and The Love Legend.

Šćavina teaches the Psychology of Creativity course and Psychology of Characters course at Vern University in Zagreb and leads a creative-psychological workshop Beyond Writing at Centre for Creative Writing in Zagreb. She is a member of the Croatian Writers’ Society and a member of the Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association.

Priča nije loša, ali mi je konstantno nešto.. nedostajalo.
Krene u dubinu pa stane.
Odnos između Saše i Tamare mi je bezveze skroz,
kao da nemaju niti malo razumijevanja jedna za drugu, pogotovo sa Sašine strane.
Nekako mi se sve brzo izdogađalo i falilo mi je još.. priče, dubine, komunikacije.. a opet, s druge strane, možda je tako spisateljica i htjela. Ne znam.
