All I can simply say is "WOW!" - in fact, that is the name of the publisher of this book, and reading it makes you understand why.
From the first sentence in the prologue, you as the reader are hooked. And you are hooked until the very last sentence of the book. 600 pages is a lot, but Mann does not seem to waste words. Every single sentence, every single line in the book contributes and has meaning to the overall plot.
The hero, Sil, is by and large an imperfect one - someone who has become an alcoholic with deep-rooted animosity and hate inside him that is seething to come out, BUT someone every reader will love and can empathize with. When he leaves work one day and finds that his life as he knows it has been erased, he finds himself in a "nothing-to-lose" situation where he allows this animosity to come out, all while trying to piece things back together.
As he gets deeper and deeper into understanding why and how things went awry, he must both escape law enforcement and a psychotic antagonist who will stop short at nothing to destroy Sil.

The story had a wonderful flow and was very well written. This book was not just a good one, but it was an experience and a journey you undertake with Sil. One becomes a partner in his agony and ecstasy as you partake in his tribulations.
It has over 500 pages but it recaps the incidents if you are getting back to the book after a few days. Having said that, you are curious and always want to know what happens next.
Great thriller and mystery with elements of sci-fi. Reminded me of the movie "The Sixth Sense" by M. Night Shymalan where you think, "Why didn't I think of this" or "How in the world did I miss this?". It keeps you gripped until the very last sentence.

I think my heart rate easily doubled when I read this book! Such intense action - it keeps leaving you wanting more.
You got a main character who's as pissed off and volatile as Walter White and as driven as John Anderton (Minority Report), and he's on the run from both law enforcement and a psychopath who will do anything to kill him so he doesn't bring him down. He understands the concept of self-preservation and wants nothing more than justice against the man who destroyed his life and answers for why everything around him has suddenly changed.
It will keep you on the edge, but chapters are easy to read and you will keep turning the page!

This is an AMAZING book that combines the best elements of a sci-fi thriller, a business espionage book, and a classic who-done-it! I bought Isolated Chamber to keep me occupied during my first flight of summer vacation. The book drew me in with its catching setup and plot. Each day of the vacation, I found myself wanting to return to the hotel room so that I could continue along with Sil on his strange journey. To say that this is a page turner is an understatement. The twists and turns will keep you glued, and the plot moves along at a race car pace. The text flowed very easily, and the plot kept me guessing right up until the very end. I give Isolated Chamber my highest recommendation for anyone who loves sci-fi, mysteries, or business espionage books.

But one night when he leaves work after a freakish incident, he finds everything around him has changed. He now has no one he can turn to and has to figure out this mystery all by himself, while a dangerous psychopath, who knows the truth, is pursuing him mercilessly.
Each and every page you will be wondering what happens next to Sil and if he can make it out of this surreal situation.

His work and alcohol are the only things that give him comfort, but one day when he comes home from work, he finds his whole life has been erased. Now, he's on the clock to find out what happened - before he gets arrested and before those who are in the know capture and kill him.

I haven't read a fiction book in a while, but a friend of mine recommended this one. He is a friend of the author and did this as a favor to him.
I told him that it would take me a few months to go through. Boy was I wrong! I started reading a week ago and finished in 2 days! Such a fantastically written thriller! Easy to read and I could not put it down!
Each chapter ends with such a cliffhanger you simply cannot wait to read more. Great hero character! Lots of foul language, dark themes and a high kill count, but the suspense is amazing! You will not be disappointed! I just hope there is a sequel.

Hard to believe this book is 600 pages in length! It is such a quick and fast read - because you just can't put it down! Love the main character Sil and you are rooting for him the whole time.
Sil has his flaws, but what an amazing guy! He's an everyman genius who manages to find himself caught in his sticky situation one day when he leaves work where his life has been completely changed. The race is on as he has to both dodge the police and an unknown enemy all while trying to figure out what happened to him and dealing with his own personal demons from a tragedy he suffered years before.
A buddy of mine recommended this book and I'm so glad I took him up on it!

K Mann’s book is intriguing right from the beginning.
It is seldom that I wake up at night, wanting to discover what will happen next. Fast-paced chapters with twists and turns throughout. I devoured the 585 pages in less than one week. The ending begs for a sequel.
Five stars from me.

Only an engineer could have such inside knowledge of the possibilities of time machines. I’ve always been intrigued by time travel so this topic and the action packed, page turners with moments full of tension, anxiety and fear kept me entertained. I highly recommend this book as it keeps you guessing all the way to the end.

Crime/Mystery/Thriller/Sci Fi all packed into one! You don't know what you are getting on any page and it will keep you guessing. K Mann takes you on quiet a the rollercoaster of a ride along with main character Sil Wochman. Keep the lights on!
